I have done a great deal of research on recovery from Narcissistic abuse. The first thing I read of Melania Evans was different. It focused on my recovery and my self empowerment instead of being hyperfocused on my abuser. After months of being referred back to her material, I signed up for her free emails. Each email focused more on my recovery than on the abuse I survived. Each time I read through the information, I am struck at how I am brought back to centering on my journey and my healing and not on the man who tried to destroy my world. And the anxiety has begun to subside and the preoccupation with trying to figure out the past as lessened as I remember self-care over analyzing the abuser finally... finally.

I found out about Melanie about a month ago. Went through the free 16 days program and resources. What first stroke me about Melanie is her way of dealing with NA ( narcissistic abuse). Ive watched and readhundreds of videos and articles about the subject to even try to understand what was happening to me. Melanies way of healing is to focus on you as a person, not as a victim and no focus is ever given to the abuser. And to me this is the best way to heal. Knowing and understanding yourself, your past, what led you to this person and how to love and heal yourself to not fall into this deadly trap.

I am just getting started with the NARP program, but just in the free workshops pre webinar launch it has opened my eyes up significantly. I knew fundamentally it was me that needed to shift and change, but I lacked the understanding and direction on how to do it. Melanie and her team of Thrivers, along with the support staff are immensely warm, classy people who have the most compassionate way of delivering the hard facts that I needed to hear. I am excited about the next step in my healing and joining the NARP community.

I came across Melanie after the loss of my mom and being left with a father and siblings that are Narcissists with other underlying mental issues. The abuse after my mom's passing was unbearable; I not only lost the most important person in my life, but at a time when I needed compassion and time to heal, my family went on a rampage to destroy and hurt me. As soon as I listened to Melanie's first viideo that I found, I knew I had finally found someone that truly understands the impact that Narcissists have on their victims (although I realize now that I am not a victim in this). I was also married to a Narcissist and had been to many therapist/psychologists etc. to try and get help to heal from my ex-husbands abuse and my father's and siblings abuse throughout my life; but no one was able to help me heal. I am so thankful for Melanie and all the help that she offers to overcome this horrible abuse and live a full deserving life.

I still find it mind boggling that this beautiful soul could have ever lived a life such as mine. But she had too or she couldn't know how to describe the anguish, the heartbreak, the betrayal, the insanity as she does. Until now I've felt so alone and isolated, as well as hopeless. Just in the initial stages that I am at within this program I finally have insight as to why! WHY?!? WHY?!? And to have HOPE.! I've been with this man 37 yrs. Recently, out of sheer survival I've finally understood what BE TRUE YO YOURSELF means I've been trying to set boundaries, trying to stop the madness and I'm so, proud of myself and to know that now I have Melanie to guide me and love me thru this I feel absolutely unstoppable!
