Meetme can be very fun. It's easy to meet people from around the world, but it's aggravating on many levels. First, there are tons of fake profiles--profiles by the hundreds with "Kik" in their name or "3-sum fun," or "mother-daughter fun"—names that could be filtered out before the owners of such profiles even take off. Worse, this app punishes you for using it how it's designed to be used. Say you want to talk to people in France. And you search "paris, france, and you see people you think you might chatting with and go through the profiles either typing or copying and pasting, "hello. How are you?" Do thtat long enough, and your profile will be flagged for verification because meetme "found some suspicious activity on your account." even if you can log back in, they never say what constitutes the suspicious activity, but i've been shut down enough to feel confident saying it's because of saying "hello. How are you?" too often, either copying and pasting or typing it in. If everyone wrote back everytime... there'd be no need to cast such a wide net. It doesn't matter how long you've had the profile or that you're being polite. Your profile will be flagged and shut down until you verify your profile. You can verify it through some kind of face recognition thingy... but say you shave your beard, or grow one, or cut your hair--it won't recognize you. You can get some help to manually via *******@meetme.com to verify the account but not always. And you're done. If your profile is unverified long enough, or say you get caught saying "hello. How are you?" too many times in a short span, your profile will be shut down for "violating terms of service." nowhere are the terms of service listed. And on this app, there are streamers. You can buy diamonds to give to streamers... i've noticed meetme will shut down your profile quicker if you have paid for a lot of credits--you lose those credits and you can't give them to anyone. Apparently, the method they use to detect "suspicious" activity doesn't recognize if you've bought credits or not, and if you get shut down Meetme gets whatever remained on your account. And don't even think about getting help from customer support. It's no help. They won't tell you why what constitutes "suspicious activity"--knowing that would help you avoid getting shut down. They won't tell you what is constitutes a violation of the terms of service.

In short, this is a fun app, but it's run by people who don't care if you make friends, have credits, or simply want to say "hello. How are you?" this app punishes you for using it as it is intended to be used--and you can lose friends and money in the process.

I have been locked out several times a year. I use a computer but that doesnt matter. I bought a smartphone because the verification process said to load meetme app. On my computer, cant do that. Got on the verification after downloading the app. Checked the two boxes, clicked get started, went right back the the first screen and it circles back to the same screen never sending an email as described. I usually have to write support many emails before something happens. This is getting very tiring.

Meet me has been nothing but a complete waste of time and a complete waste of effort because once u match with one they talk a few days and leave u ghosted or are underage trying to lie that they are of age to try to make men look like pervs because they choose to lie so done with the feminisism Bs

Phoney profiles, scammers.
Fake pictures and links to pay porn sites which have nothing to do with meeting people. Proceed with caution you and your computer, phone can get a virus.

I was on this site for only a week and the men that I spoke with had absolutely no manners at all. It was all just about sex and these men were just all garbage that no other woman wants! Stay away. It's even worse than plenty of snakes!

Meet me is a waste of time. You make some diamonds. Someone jealous reports you as fake then they won't let you verify and they delete your account. No way to contact customer service. Then they are basically stealing all your hard earned diamonds back. I was thinking of starting to start a new account. From how I've been treated on there, no customer service and them stealing all my diamonds and garbage people on there. I will bea hard pass on signing up again. I'm sure there is something better out there. This is a scam sight and poorly serviced. -10 stars. What a disappointing scam!

Do not join this app. When you do and you watch live streams. You will realise nobody wants to use this as a dating app. Girls pretending to like guys for gifts which give them money. Yes guys are scamming girls aswell but if you look at the viewing figures. Most guys hardly get any views whereas girls are averaging 200+viewers a stream. Therefore girls are the ones scamming guys. Most of these girls have professional jobs who would be out of these tomorrow if they spoke to you like the way they spoke to you through this app. Why are people talking to people through this app, they wouldn't even dream of saying in 'real life'. Meetme passwords seem to get hacked frequently, and from my experience the people running it never respond when you inform them of it. The majority of women on there seem to have serious insecurity issues. Some of the profiles make sad reading, as often it sounds like the world owes them everything. The overweight women are the worst, but having said that, the internet is the ideal tool for the insecure to garner pointless, artificial power. The amount of fake profiles are only matched by the number of people looking to score crystal meth. If the women on there are so bad, i can only imagine how crap the men must be. A warning to anyone guy who joins it. If you even dare try to put in her place some ugly female who has a super-rude bio, they will just grass on you like a little girl and from what I can see the moderators just ban you on the strength of their word. There are profiles on there that merely say "F___ you, and f----- anything you want to say, message me and I will f-ing ban you' etc etc. it really is the perfect place for low life to kid themselves they are actually important
