I purchased a used 1980 Evinrude 100 hp to replace a failed 70 hp on my 16 ft 1976 Fiberform boat. It had few hours and runs great. It had been outdoors in the weather for a long time. I found the Evinrude light gray metallic paint for 1978 to 1987 Evinrude on MarineEngine.com. Now my engine looks like new!

Great place for older outboard parts, need to check and rotate stock. Received some oem parts from quicksilver and the coating on the electric wires were aged and cracked.
Received our order but specified one crucial part that did not arrive. Talked to a service rep and he knew what part we needed and he was going to deliver to complete our order. As of yet we have not received it. The salesperson did not want any fee and we did not receive a confirmation on the order. It is June 15 and we talked to a rep 7 days ago. This part is needed to repair the motor.
I originally purchased from Marine engine a piston that I incorrectly ordered and was an oversize piston instead of standard for my outboard 200 horse Evinrude. First because I had to have the piston for replacement and to get back running I immediately reordered the correct piston which was a standard size. Then I contacted the company with their return policy, made them understand that I incorrectly ordered the wrong part, followed instructions and returned the piston with complete credit. Nice to deal with a company that you can trust.
I needed to rebuild the fuel pump on my 15hp Evinrude. I was really thankful that OEM parts were available for a reasonable price. Shipping was relatively quick, and I had my fishing boat back up and running in no time.

We ordered a Mercury Manual... in error I ordered 2 with the intent of calling the following morning... i didn't habe to call... the error was found and questioned which saved everybody time... and me money. Not all companies would take the time to question... THANKS SO MUCH!

I needed a part that wasnt a high volume easily found part, and these folks had it. Price was reasonable, documentation of order just right, delivery on time, a great experience. Ohh, and it was the part that I needed too!
This is my 3rd time ordering and it certainly won't be the last - they have stock, they ship quickly, and it's what it is supposed to be. Can't get better, except an expedited shipping option would be great.
Quality parts, great prices and received on time. Would suggest that customers be notified when split orders be shipped. Contacted customer support when the prop wasn't shipped or listed on the order that I received. I contacted customer support and they informed me that the prop shipped separately. Customer support was professional and prop was received on time. Would prefer to have received an email letting me know. My order also included out of stock items. Those items actually arrived ahead of schedule. I'll buy from Marine Engine again
Great parts. Great service.The order was a little messed up. The part I ordered was the right part number but the wrong part showed up. All the other parts where correct. I called and a replacement part was shipped to me. This time it was the correct part. The part in question was a tiny spring. The website has great pictures and layouts to order the parts you need. So in my case it was just a matter of some how the wrong spring got into the order. Very happy with the prices, speed of shipping, and service.
I have been restoring several old outboards through out the year. Marine Engine has been supplying the majority of my parts. They offer quality parts and great customer service and if they don't have the parts one day check back often because I have rechecked and found parts later. I have used marine engine many times as I work on a lot of old outboards and they have always had what I need and ship it out as soon as they can. The parts I receive are new parts that are the same as the original engine parts were when new and last a long time. The price is a fair price and shipping charges are reasonable.

I own an older Johnson outboard motor that someone deleted the thermostats out of I prefer to have thermostat in it so I was able to completely order everything needed in order to re-install thermostats works excellent
