MAC Cosmetics

I've ordered from Mac cosmetics pretty often due to the whole pandemic, while I can agree their products are great and worth your money, I just wish their customer service would be more helpful. Whenever I make a purchase they always deduct the money from my account instantly but never send me confirmation or shipping emails. This has happened three separate times, I tried to email them but they just send me back the typical "we'd love to help you out so we suggest using our phone line" That's understandable but I wait on hold for hours! I've tried to call them three separate times within the past two days. But I never get through to anybody, I just find it so unprofessional to not let someone know what's happening to their order. It's been over a week since I've purchased my item and nothing has been received in the mail, I can't track it either. It really shouldn't be this hard to reach someone to help me know where my items are!

I've tried several products and enjoyed them. Nothing that amazing, but truthfully I will never buy from them EVER again. Not even use their products. I am 100% boycotting them. MAC Cosmetics is pro-animal testing and TESTS ON ANIMALS. Cruel and unnecessary. Animal testing is obsolete and most results mean nothing or are plain inaccurate. "In vitro" test methods are so much more dependable, less expensive, and much more ethical. Don't bother buying MAC. If you want higher end products then shop with Anastasia Beverly Hills or Too Faced (cruelty-free). ALWAYS worth it. No guilt for you, no pain for the animals. <3

So I'm a very pale gal and I have had a real hard time finding a foundation shade that matches me perfectly or won't turn me into a walking carrot if ya know what I mean. But anywho went to MAC and got matched to a shade in one of their foundations and let me tell ya it was perfect! Their makeup is of a great quality and lasts all day so I'm very very happy with their products. The Mac website is also easy to navigate and I really like how it's setup. The only reason why I'm giving it a 4 and not a 5 is because the employees in the MAC store can sorta come off as rude and uppity! Like c'mon you're already intimidating with your hair and makeup on point. Looking like friggin barbie! I don't need your attitude thank you kindly. Other than that I am all for MAC!

I ordered a product online. The product did not work for me. I tried to return it at store. I was told they do not accept online return at the store. I thought it was weird being that all other major companies accept returns both at store and online. Such a hassle to return! So I sent it back to Mac online. They received it 3 weeks ago according to the package tracking number. I called twice already and was on hold for long time. I finally had to call my credit card company to dispute the charge. I can not believe the trouble I had to go through! Never again!

I bought the Fix Fluid Foundation, the foundation is very good but the smell is absolutely horrific, very toxic and unpleasant! I tried to return the product the day after I bought it, despite numerous affirmations on the official mac website that they care about customer satisfaction I was not allowed to return my unused foundation. If you're looking for a foundation, I would definitely avoid mac, the smell doesn't even out the quality of the product, it smells extremely chemical and bad.

The foundation I received last week seems perfect. Adds great texture to my face after applying it. The shade was also fine with my skin shade. Perfect product for use on a daily basis. Thank you for delivering it on time.

Very Easy to Order. Product info online is straight forward and provided clearly. Ordering was a breeze and offered Paypal which is always nice. Product shipping a a ways out but they let you know by having to click you understand and agree. Also nice! Hoping the product is just as good as the purchase.

I would always feel so professional using MAC products, the foundations are particularly great and they offer a great range of shades. They are super easy to get a hold of in department stores and online. However, I'm having to stop using them as they are not cruelty free - it's something that should be of utmost importance to a brand in this day and age and I no longer feel that MAC shares the same ethical and moral values as many other beauty brands.
