Learn from me and don't waste your time
July 20, 2021

Oh where to start…

I've purchased twice from LXR and Co. The first time was more or less seamless, but the bag I did receive stunk like mold and mildew. I'm still airing it out as we speak.

The second time has been a very frustrating and disappointing adventure. I purchased a Fendi baguette bag. First of all it was listed as a vintage bag, which it is not. The bag was released in spring 2019, which is in no way shape or form classified as vintage. Honestly, this should have been when the alarm bells rang off, as they clearly are not the experts they claim to be in luxury goods.

Secondly, the bag was listed as only including the strap. I was 100% okay with this fact, but just wanted to double check that the bag in fact didn't come with its original authentic dust bag. After emailing customer support, they in fact confirmed it DID NOT, come with its original dust bag. Since that was the case, I was completely willing to purchase a Fendi dust bag from eBay, which I did because I like keeping my bags in their dust bags.

This leads me to when the bag arrived. Not only was I shocked that it in fact arrived with its original dust bag, again after I was told it DID NOT, the Fendi baguette I received was in the large size. The Fendi baguette bag was listed as size M, meaning it should have been the medium Fendi baguette. The large which is 33cm instead of 27cm makes a world of a difference on a tiny frame (I'm 5'2").

I honestly let that the size discrepancy slide as I thought to myself well I don't have any bags of this size in my collection so I'll keep it, but the most annoying thing to me is that they straight up confirmed to me that it didn't come with a dust bag when it in fact did and now won't reimburse me for my troubles.

So to recap not only did they misinform me when I reached out to them, but they also gave me a completely different sized bag and listed it as vintage, which it is not.

What kills me is that their email replies were short and curt, and never friendly or elaborative, whereas on here they take the time to look professional and act like they care because it's out in the open for everyone to see. This should be a red flag for anyone, especially if you're investing in an expensive purchase.

If they're not willing to do their research on the products they're selling or extend an olive branch for a simple $41USD reimbursement for a dust bag, after you just spent thousands of dollars with them, they clearly don't value their clientèle.

Please stay away from buying from this company unless you want to be misled and disappointed. I for one do not trust them as a company, and will be spending my hard earned money elsewhere.

Highly overpriced for its condition
May 22, 2017

Bought kepallB 50 for 1200CAD, broken zippers cracked vachetta. Zippers replaced@ LV for 150 and going for the Vachetta sides replacement soon for 400 or handles would give in. New one goes for 2200CAD commonsense tells you youre better off buying new one. Then i thought learned my lesson not to go back to them, bf thought just to look around, bf got carried away and wanted to buy this discounted lv bag or so we thought (pretty much retail price before inflation), unfortunately didnt do my due deligence on researching on the bag first before heading there, as we didnt plan on buying on the first place (which is bad), poor bf not so well versed with luxury world had faith and trust they do fair pricing, worst part, closed with an upfront offer of 10% with the catch of final sale! My gut is telling me not go for it, but bf felt its a good deal, forgotten about the issues on the kepall i had with them. Got home still feeling so uneasy, and shocked to find out one in excellent condition on fashionphile for 60% less on what he paid for, and its going further discount, i was just about to kick myself for letting LXandCO con us into sounding like a deal when its not. Way over priced, then pull a 10% discount just to slap a final price no return strategy on us. So unhappy and will never go back to them again, unfortunately everytime i see the bag i feel sad with story behind it.
LXRandCO needs to learn from other resellers like Fashionphile or yogiscloset for their business to thrive, its just gonna take time and no one will go to you. With Fashionphile they have 50% discount already from retail price before inflation across the board, then further 10, 20, 30% marking down, with that in mind added peace of mind 30day return policy, plus buy back if youre not happy within certain time. How can you compete with your outrageous pricing and 10day to no return policy? I suggest checking out their sites and seeing your pricing with them. I feel bad for those not so well versed with luxury pricing, LXRandCO posing like a good deal when its not, Dont take any 10% upfront only to be slapped with no return policy period. And trust your gut!

The worst customer service I have ever experienced!
December 20, 2016

I visited two of the LXR&Co locations at Century 21 in Morristown and Jersey Gardens, NJ. Both locations were staffed by helpful individuals. I have purchased a couple of items, which were good quality.
Until I purchased something online, and had no need to deal with the Customer Service department. I purchased a Hermes necklace on December 3rd, 2016. The order was placed, my debit card charged, and the money removed from my account. That is where the smooth transaction ended.
On December 4th 2016, I received an email from Lxr&Co customer service. I was informed that they could not complete my transaction since my address for shipment did not match my address of record with my Bank. I contacted my bank immediately both online and thru their customer support line to confirm all my information was correct, and Lxr&Co was mistaken. I immediately wrote and called Lxr&Co who could not explain what happened. No apology, but a confirmation the product would be sent out via Fed Ex. I was told the item would arrive by the 13th of December. I questioned 9 days to deliver. I was told they state a 15 day delivery period on the site. Thought this was odd, but assumed it would arrive earlier. Assume nothing with this company!

On the 15th of December I called again to find the item was still in the warehouse in NJ, but would be sent out immediately. I was given a Fed Ex tracking number and and promised the item would arrive December 16th, 2016. I worked from home to in order to be available for the delivery and sign for the package. The Fed Ex tracking info said it would be delivered on Friday the 16th, but had no information to show the item was in transit. I called Lxr&Co customer service around 4:00PM on the 16th of December to find out what was happening. I left a message on voice mail since no live person was available to answer my six attempts at reaching a live body. I attempted to contact them repeatedly over the weekend, wrote numerous emails to the customer service department with no response. I called Fed Ex, who confirmed the item was never was handed off to Fed Ex.

On Monday December 19th, I wrote an additional letter, called repeatedly and finally at around 11:00AM I finally reached a live body. I was told Customer service works weekdays only, 9AM to 5PM. She was familiar with my case and said she had written a letter to their logistics department to find out what happened.
She assured me that she would get to the bottom of the issue and get back to me by the end of the day on the 19th of December. Naturally, the phone call never came, and according to Fed Ex no status update has occurred.

Today is day 17 since placing my order. My experience with Lxr&Co and this order has been horrible! Misinformation, one returned call on December 5th and nothing since, no concern about customer fulfillment, and a general lack of concern about their reputation and quality. I guess they have enough business in spite of the poorest customer service I have ever experienced. Meanwhile they still have my money, and I can only imagine what the process will be for a refund.

If your going to buy from this company, I would suggest finding the product at a physical location and perform a traditional transaction. KH, Chatham, NJ
