So disgusted with the Loft and Ann Taylor. West Branch outlet stores closed and was not notified, went to return merchandise and store closed, now I have only a few days to return clothes otherwise they won't take them back. Closest outlet mall is over 100 miles away.
I'll never shop their again.
Shopping in my local store is fine but ordering something online is a nightmare every time I have done it. Placed online orders for 2 items that were not in my size In store. Two weeks later and said items still haven't shipped! Called customer service - several times - and after getting the same canned speech was told they "estimate" delivery tomorrow so can't "look into it" till then. Well if it's due here tomorrow and is still "processing" then clearly I'm not getting my merch tomorrow! Awful!
I had the worst customer service experience with them.
10 times called for an order missing. They will ask you to wait few more days. When you demand immediate solution, they disconnect your call on phone or in chat. They won't respond to email or text customer service requests. It has been 2 months just no solution. Very frustrating.
I've been a client of LOFT since it first opened and I am stopping now. They are using the Pandemic as an excuse to treat clients horribly. While other stores make an effort, they will not let people try on clothes because "they are cleaning the dressing rooms". Employees are despotic and rude. What a pity and a shame!
What I love most about Loft.com is the sales. You can get some really great deals for the quality of clothing. I have found the sizes can differ from item to item but reading reviews if there are any on each item is helpful.
I do not like their site. There is a couple of issues with the upper menu coming down and staying down and it won't go away when you move your mouse away from it. This is very annoying because you have to refresh to get rid of it. I do a ton of shopping online for my job and I know how sites work, this is problem and they refuse to fix it. There have been times I have decided not to order from them because I spend too much time dealing with this flaw.
I also have had to wait longer than I'd like for some deliveries. Not always but I find a lot of value with a company who can get my order to me in a week or less. Anything more than that and it's one I will think twice about shopping with regularly.

Excellent & professional staff working there. They cant do enough for you from the time you walk in the store. It makes shopping very pleasant. I recommend to shop st this store, you wont be disappointed. Also, they have great clothes selection.
I absolutely love the Loft and the staff! They are always so nice and it's a great atmosphere. However, my interaction with a security guard was not pleasant. His logic did not make sense to me, in the way it seemed he was abusing his power a bit.
I might look into this and how he is treating the customers. Thank you.
This is the only brand that I've found that fit perfectly regardless of the piece of clothing. Very consistent on quality and fit.The reviews on each piece really help me to order the correct size.

A new loft store opened in my area. The clothes are beautiful European style. Great colors. Very serious and professional look. I started shopping at Loft in store and online to find out that the quality of the merchandise is not too good. I was very disapointed. You have to choose carefully and it is better to go to the store instead of shopping online to choose the materials that will last more. I believe that this business has potential. They are trying to sell affordable beautiful products but the quality needs to be improved.
I shopped, tried on loved a ton of clothing that I wanted to have placed behind the counter while I continued to shop. No problem according to the employee. Probably an hour or more I'd been picking this stuff out and trying on, $400 or more on clothes on my first round of shopping while my poor husband agreed to sit in the car and wait for me. Second round of try on's and I was ready to pay. Probably $800 for everything easy if not more when all was said and done. I get to the check out (one person ringing out after noticing about 4 employees AT LEAST during my time there…) all the sudden, the first round of my clothing that I had spent tons of time trying on and asking to be placed to the side while I continued to shop, were missing! Seriously?! Someone, although a "still shopping" sign being placed on my clothes, put them back on the sales floor! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! No sorry and no one even offers to help me find all the stuff! That's crap! I'm an ALL customer and have spent a lot of $$$$ over the years (not as much as I could due to a military move overseas over the past 3 years but…) nonetheless, disappointing! Then took out my digital card available via my online cominity account and I was made to feel like an idiot! They couldn't figure out how to use it! I had to make suggestions on how to use it! They knew nothing about a QR code available via the ALL/Cominity website. I felt the people I was working with were idiots! At the very least, very illy trained! The apology after everything was basically given after I really had to ask for it. End of story, you lost money and I don't plan to visit this store again. Inept employees that don't care! Sad to be loyal and be made to feel like you're just an inconvenience! 4/30/22.
I have been a customer of LOFT for 10 years.
Until the were purchased a few years ago they had amazing FINAL sales.
They now are borderline deceptive about the amount of an item.

Prior to being deceitful, 30% off price marked meant and additional 30% off the price marked in the FINAL sale category.
The clothing is not classy anymore.
Due the lack of variety in clothing and the lack of great sales I will move my clothing purchases to GAP
I always paid my balance in full and on time. As of end of 2022 they decided to charge me $1.00 interest charge on my balance. But I did not have any balance! And then they continue adding a late fee on the interest charge. Until it piled up to $15.84, and after paying that in full, they sent me a next statement for another $31.68, when my last purchase in their store was almost a year ago and which was paid in full.
LATE FEE ON INTEREST CHARGE ON A $0.00 BALANCE. That's how they summarized it over the phone. The rep Adrienne was extremely rude, very disrespectful tone, she would not let me talk, raising her voice and demanding to listen to her. Very unprofessional!
I paid the late fee on the interest charge in full and closed my account with Loft. THEY ARE FRAUD. I will never set foot in their stores again. God bless them!
If you have a "Rewards Loft Card". Cut it up.if dont use the card, in 6mths. They will close your acct and run a credit report before they decide to reopen your acct. They dont respect customers time. These stores, will go out of business real soon.
I walked into Loft at Lynnhaven mall and when the sales lady saw me she didn't even acknowledge the fact I was even in the store, this happened once before and I didn't say anything. Destiny is the store manager and I don't believe she would like this behavior either especially when I spend a lot of money buying these clothes. If this is the way you treat customers I'll go somewhere else
Horrible company. They close most of their stores for the pandemic and then encourage free shipping with large orders. But when you go an return something they make you pay 7.95 for each order returned- even if your item costs the same or less! No exceptions! Of course not advertised until you try to return! Even when you do not have a store within two hours of your location! HORRIBLE. Never again will I purchase. I really like their clothing but sorry, your penny pinching of customers is bad form. If I could give 0 stars I would.
I've been awaiting a return to process from LOFT for weeks. I get that it's the holidays but I figured I'd reach out and inquire via their Chat option to find out the status of my return and hopefully have it processed soon (the tracking from my return label, too, tracks and confirms that they have had the item for quite some time). Yet, the customer service agent I spoke to was downright rude and condescending to me for merely asking questions such as time frame. Baffling that a company would allow a rep to speak to a customer like that! My questions could have easily been answered and/or resolved...but that's not anywhere close to the customer service treatment I received.
Wondering now if I'll ever get my money returned. I'll certainly never shop here again after that experience.
I've been a loyal customer for years and years. Last month, I ordered 5 items. I got one quickly. The other four didn't make it during the timeframe they said it would be delivered so ended up having to contact customer service 4 x's to finally get an email saying the remaining items were out of stock. Poor service and horrible system to check merchandise availability!
I keep buying from them because I like their styles but the quality is so so bad I have to stop. The last several shirts I've bought from them have gotten holes on second or third wear. One actually fell apart in the washing machine and it was a T-shirt! There is no reason you shouldn't be able to put a T-shirt in the wash. I'm wearing one of their shirts today for only the second time and just looked down and saw holes in it. I really am done wasting my money on them. On top of the poor quality, the customer service is horrible. They literally do not care if you are unhappy with your purchase. Terrible business.
Love the t-shirts, skirts, and great prices, but I ordered several items in early August and they still have not arrived. I got an email that said they were shipped on September 2 and it is now September 23! The information with the tracking number states: "Tracking details will be available once the package arrives at the USPS facility. Please check back soon!" What!? The package hasn't even arrived at the USPS facility three weeks after Loft Outlet says it was shipped. What a joke. I have a feeling I will never get my order.
I don't know why I didn't learn. I ordered items at Christmas and they took forever to ship. And when you contact customer service the give you a canned answer to just keep waiting. I recently ordered again and my shipped package hasn't moved in two weeks it's obviously lost, and they are of no help. I just filed a claim with PayPal to get my money back. Do not order from them online.
