I have a similar story as everyone else. Ordered my daughter's Halloween costume on 10/15. Called them on 10/22 because it still hadn't shipped. Guy told me it would be shipping that day or the next and be here by Friday. I specifically asked him if they had the size I ordered. He assured me they did. 3 days later I received a refund because the order was out of stock.

Havent received my order and it is Halloween I ordered a scary pumpkin mask on the 4th of oct a good d still hasn't got here yet and it says it delivers in 5 to 7 business days then says if you order before oct 21 your order will be delivered before Halloween well I havent received my order and today is Halloween day so site is scam

Called and called and emailed many times, 0 answers
They never answer the phone
Have asked Mastercard to refund but have to wait 30 to get my money back

I was an idiot who didn't read the reviews before ordering from this site. Everyone's comments on here are totally legit. I ordered a costume 9/21/14. E-mail instantly sent stating it was in processing. After a few weeks of no further updates... and no costume, I call customer service----an automated recording, of course---and leave a message. Another e-mail sent from them stating it was still in processing. Yeah, well my payment didn't sit in processing for weeks, so why is my product?! I can't even get ahold of anyone at customer service. All automated. I order off Amazon and other websites. NEVER HAD THIS ISSUE! WORST COMPANY EVER!

Ordered Costumes for Thanksgiving, sent e-mails and left voice messages to request a response to ensure timely delivery before they shipped. When I received no response, I tried to cancel the order. The owner ( I think) e-mailed, called, and texted to say there is no need to cancel the order, the costumes are on the way and I would have them by Monday or Tuesday before Thanksgiving. I requested a UPS tracking number and was texted a BOGUS number because the costumes had not shipped! I finally received e-mail confirmation several days later with actual UPS tracking - They arrived the day after Thanksgiving, I rejected shipment and have requested a refund -- NO RESPONSE. At one point, he told me I should have ordered the costumes sooner and that I've caused a mess.

If you placed an order call your bank and get your money back and call the better business bureau and report them. The address to their business is actually a home. They're making a lot of money off of people who don't pursue reporting them.

Ordering a child's Halloween costume 5 weeks early seemed more then reasonable and ahead of the game to me. Well, I'm having to buy another costume so my child has something for parties this weekend. Customer service is nearly impossible to get a hold of! I was told when I finally found a live associate that my order couldn't be canceled bc it had shipped already, well... 4 day later I I just received notification that my costume is being prepared to ship. I better get a full refund when I turn that puppy right around. How is this site still operating?!

I purchased a Halloween costume for my daughter on Oct 10th and haven't heard a word from this company. It doesn't matter what time of the day you call, all you get is an answering machine. I've written several inquiries to them through their site where it says contact us and I have yet to hear from anyone. I will NEVER EVER buy from this company again. I'm trying to cancel my order so I can get a refund because they already have my money and I don't have the product. Most companies don't charge your card until the item is shipped. I will definitely report this company because they are a SCAM.

Placed an order 3 weeks ago and still haven't received it! The worst customer service ever! Could never give me an update on the order or a tracking number. Finally canceled my order. I wouldn't even give them one star if I didn't have to!

Ordered a Halloween costume on September 26th. Checked on shipment date two separate times, and was told my item was shipping in the coming business days. Received an email Oct 15th saying my item was out of stock. Thanks for completely screwing up my 5-yr old's Halloween!

I ordered a Freddy fazbear costume for my son on September 3rd and have yet to receive it. Sent numerous emails and they will not respond back. Of course they have my money already. I will NEVER again do business with this company.

It took over 2 weeks for them to tell me the items were out of stock and that they couldn't fulfill the order. I could have ordered this from Amazon and had the items 2 days later but the only reason that I used them was that they were a little bit cheaper. 2 weeks to charge my card and sit on my order without letting me know what's happening and then tell me it's out of stock is inexcusable customer service. Now the money is tied up with them and I still have no product. If they don't have it in stock, they shouldn't charge me. This is why Amazon is putting companies like this out of business.

I ordered my item and it was long overdue. When I called, I was given a 555 number and told to call that to speak to a manager, but that number directed me to general information. When I called their number again and asked to speak to a manager, they told me: "Hon, we don't do that", in a thick accent, and hung up on me. I contacted my credit card company - USAA - and they dug into it and said this site is a fraud that funnels your personal information towards other fraud companies that then begin to charge your credit card at their leisure. USAA cancelled my card immediately and has launched their own investigation.

Ordered a Halloween outfit 9/29/2014. Didn't even recieve a confirmation email but on their website, it indicated the item was processing... for 3 weeks. I finally left a voicemail with the company because apparently there's no live customer service. I received an email shortly after stating that my order was on backorder and would be sent the beginning of the week. They order never arrived bit fortunately I was refunded by Paypal the full amount. Worst website ever! Do NOT buy from them!

This site, ledchristmaslighting.com is a borderline scam site. They didn't ship my order for over a month, when I asked for a refund they claimed they had shipped it, after repeatedly lying about when items would be in stock. I filed a complaint with the credit card company and a week later they mailed me a partial order, proof they could have canceled the order but decided to lie to me about it. If you want to do business with a company that blatantly lies to you and won't ship items unless you file a complaint with your credit card company go for it. Worst online shopping experience ever.

I do ALOT of online purchasing and this was the worst experience ever. I ordered a product that said it was in stock... specifically for my Halloween set up. Luckily I ordered it at the beginning of September. Then when I got the order it was not the same thing they had displayed online so it wouldn't work for my set up. I had to spend the time and money to switch everything around. So, I email them to get an address to ship this item back and ask for a refund. No response..., email again... no response. So, I turned it into my credit card company and they sided with me. Now that the company doesn't have their money they are calling me threatening to put me in collections because I never returned their item that is now in December and I was not able to use.

Wow wish I had looked at this review site sooner. I ordered a costume for my 8 year old daughter 3 and a half weeks ago. That's more than enough time in my opinion. Yesterday I got an email. Not from them, but from Paypal saying my amount was refunded. I was stunned. I went to ledchristmaslighting.com to log into the account i was forced to open. Sure enough the item was listed as refunded and out of stock. THREE days before Halloween. They could have said at the time of ordering that it was OOS. This company is the absolute worst I've ever dealt with online. There is no cutomer service to speak of. Every call I make is answered with voicemail. Now I have a young child who is crushed by this news. Never again will I shop from them. They have forever lost myself and anyone I can discuss this with as a customer.

I ordered bellhop hats from this company, and was assured I would receive them by a certain date. After placing the order, I was not given a receipt or tracking number or receipt. Before I placed the order, I was assured they would arrive by July 2nd. On July 5th, after multiple calls, I finally got ahold of someone who said they would not arrive until Monday, July 8th. I NEEDED THEM ON THE 6TH! Long story short, they didn't get in until the 10th. Save your money and your time, horrible customer service.

I purchased a Halloween costume and makeup for my daughter on Sept 23,2017. The costume didnt arrive until Oct 18th and its noe Oct 20th and still no makeup to go with the Avatar costume. There was no shipping info at all in the package to say where the makeup was, I never received an email saying anything had been shipped, they dont answer emails regularly either. Now there is no phone contact listed on the site to find out what is going on. Judging from other reviews I am screwed out of the makeup as they took my payment and clearly ran only giving me half of my order. My kids Halloween event is tomorrow so now I have to scramble to get makeup that will only partially work to fit the costume colors. This place is a rip off and the service sucks, DONT BUY HERE!

I ordered my sons Halloween costume from these people on 10/17. I tried to pay extra for expedited shipping, but they sent me an email that said the costume WOULD ship over the weekend out of NY. I have pressed them for tracking info for a week plus. They never even responded to my calls, emails, NOTHING. Now, today, the Friday before Halloween they send an email that says the costume isn't in stock! Very bad experience! I would also advise you they aren't affiliated with the BBB in ANY capacity. The BBB has requested they stop using this affiliation. To add insult to injury, they are still showing they have this costume IN STOCK. Beware! Do your homework before ordering from LED Christmas Lights in NY!
