This is not a bargain! Contractors request more and more tips to accept the job. You have to sit by the computer waiting for someone to accept. I got put off until I paid enough. I cancelled my last request and they came anyway. The mowers are barely adequate and not professional. A small child could do as well as they do.My third experience will be my last! My lawn was mowed WAY TOO LOW.! Down to the dirt! I hope it survives. These contractors are NOT professional. If this is what they do for a living they should know better and be able to care for a lawn properly! NOT KILL IT! I will NOT use them again and NEVER recommend them to anyone except my worse enemy. I have been a loyal customer for years but recently they changed EVERYTHING! Their service is now "bids" so you have to negotiate every single time you want your lawn mowed. If you have unreasonable bid offers and cancel, you are charged $15. I cancelled 3 days after my payment ans was charged this fee even though theinew ridiculous policy states after 2 days you aren't charged. I will never use this service again. Treating loyal clients like trash will get you nowhere!

Wow! I am blown away! I usually now my own lawn, but after my lawn mower broke (and I procrastinated fixing it) my lawn really got out of control. So much so that I received a violation notice for my grass/ weeds being too tall! I was so embarrassed! I needed a quick solution and lawn mowing online was faster, and better than I ever expected. What a great solution for those who don't want a monthly contract. I submitted my requested and it was accepted within minutes. I got a text message alert which I liked. Then I was able to message the contractor, I asked if it was possible for him to come out the same day, and it was! So I went to work, now I get another text message that the work has been completed, and i even get to review pictures of the job! This is so far above my expectations, I am ecstatic!
Great experience. I flip houses and need someone to take care of the yards until the houses are sold. Fellow investor suggested lawn mowing online to me and I couldn't be happier. I have even hired them to mow my own yard when I am too busy.

Second time I've had to cancel with this service. The $19.00 price is a lie because in reality it ends up being about $15.00 more if you include an upcharge for your yard size, grass length, and the tip ($5 in my case, which I thought was plenty generous.)
I have no problem with the price, but contractors **don't have to select your job, and you can sit there with your grass growing for days and no-one shows up. You have to pay up front, so you are stuck waiting... Then you have to wait for a refund if you cancel! They have no phone number to call either. All through email.
I would not recommend this service for the simple fact that their business model is flawed. The suggestion they give you to 'incentivize' your job to be accepted is to increase the tip, and you're in the dark until they do. While waiting for someone to accept my job, I received an nice letter from our HOA letting me know I need to mow! Just go hire someone... this service isn't worth the headache! ~
We mow thousands of yards a year for $19 each so it's not a lie. Should we apologize we charge more for very large yards or extremely tall grass? I suppose when you order pizza, the small pizza is the same as the extra large, and unlimited toppings are free? $19 for a quarter acre is a very cheap price, and since it takes longer to mow 2 feet of grass or a 1 acre lot, we have to charge more for that.
Tips are up to the customer, but in some areas of the US $19 is not enough to have a property mowed. Rather than trying to determine what areas are more expensive we have allowed customers to decide. Customers can add a tip now on the order page or after the order is placed. Multiple tips can also be added then if the customer feels it is needed.
I'm not sure what the complaint is here, seems like everything Sharon is complaining about is very clearly spelled out on the website before an order is placed, so if she hated the website before ordering why order? NO, we don't have a phone number, because paying a call center to answer phones 80 hours a week costs thousands of dollars a week. We would need to raise prices significantly to pay for that, and only 1 out of every 1,000 orders request a phone call, so why should we charge everyone for a phone number to make 1 out of 1,000 customers happy? It would be great if we could make every customer happy, but it does not make sense to spend thousands a week to only earn a few dollars profit from that 1 customer's order. If that 1 customer needs phone calls there's plenty of local companies that charge double or triple what we do that will happily answer the phone and mow their lawn. Who knows, maybe someday we will add a phone call for $20 extra for those 1 out of 1000 customers that really must talk to someone on the phone.
I'm not saying the business model is perfect, but as you can see from the hundreds of positive reviews on our website it's almost perfect.
Ok so I have been using their service for over a year now with no real issues. Guys are always prompt and I've never had an issue with my card. Not sure why others have had issues. I had one problem where I placed an order and it wasn't accepted for over a week. When I inquired about it, I had entered my zip code incorrectly so contractors couldn't see it. The refunded right away and I re-entered right away and someone came right out. Grass still continues to look good everytime. They even do the little extra things that I ask for in comments.

I ordered service for my mom in Austin and it was the worst service ever. They sent a fat guy out that put ditches all through my lawn. I received no response from these guys and no refund. Look at the reviews on here all are made up by the owner. Click on the profiles and you will see that all the people who left a review only seemed to leave one review and it so happens to be on this website. BEWARE of LAWNMOWINGONLINE.com its a scam!
I bet the owner will come on here and try to bash me just to save face but couldn't even return an email. Lets just see people. This service is a joke and I will make sure everyone knows not to use them. Check out their BBB.org complaints the guy argues with every customer. Not a good business.
Every customer that requests a refund within 3 days of the lawn being mowed is given a 100% full refund. The reviews on sitejabber are real, sitejabber closely screens all reviews to prevent companies from leaving dozens of reviews for themselves. LawnMowingOnline.com has not received any complaints about ditches left in a yard in Austin and has never received an order from a customer named "Pete" so we do not know who this person is, possibly a former contractor that was removed from the website or a rival company that does not like that we offer lawn mowing in Austin for $19.
This company is a fraud. They setup the account so they can keep $15 of your money, even if no contractor accepts the bid. There is no way to dispute, as there is no contact information for the company.
This is illegal, and I will do my best to get this company thrown out of Texas.

Lawnmowingonline has been such a blessing! My son left for school a couple of months ago, and I didn't know very many people I could call to take care of my lawn. I didn't trust giving anyone from craigslist my home address. A neighbor mentioned this service and it has been a godsend! So far this has been great. Service provided on requested date and uploaded pictures of the work are a wonderful idea. I saved a ton of money by using this service as needed and I am very happy with it!
After using a local landscape service with mixed results at a high cost, I tried LawnMowingOnline.com and had a very good result. The site was easy to use, the contractor did a good job, at about 65% of the cost of the local landscaper/lawn maintenance company. Recommended!
My yard needed mowing badly, and I had no time to do it. I found LawnMowingOnline in a Craigslist and went to the site; in a matter of minutes had scheduled my job for the next day. The contractor came and did a beautiful job! Will definitely use this site again.
Unfortunately I had to reschedule my first appointment with the company and they were very kind and sweet about it. Never gave me a hassle. Simply made a new one and they were there on time, made my yard look specktackular and were sweet as ever! I really appreciate this service and I would be more than happy to use it again! I've been using this site for a couple years now. I found lawnmowingonline.com because I moved into my own house, but I hadn't purchased a mower yet. And now after using the site for the last few season, I don't EVER plan on buying a mower! You can't beat the convienence or price for mowing and trimming. The ordering process is relatively easy, I can even use my iPhone to place an order and re-order because it saves my order info. I use Paypal for payments which gives me peace of mind that the transaction is secure and I don't have to meet anyone to pay with cash or check. I get text messages and emails when my order is placed, when a contractor accepts the job, and when the order is completed. My parents are using the service now too. It is really good for them because they have rental property in addition to their own home. I love lawnmowingonline.com and I think so many people would save time and money by hiring them.
