Order rejected mid-shipment. No refund.

Placed an order for two articles, and waited an entire month. Turns out fedex told them that I apparently refused the delivery several days into the shipping process. I was not made aware of this and ontop of not getting a refund due to shipment costs, it felt very irresponsible for the merchant to not notify me about the complications with my order.
