KARA IS A GREAT ASSET! She was so much help. I personally would have kept searching but my boss decided to hire internally and cancel. There is a learning curve but Kara's support cut right through that. The portal is such an efficient tool once you learn the ends and outs. As a Career Technology teacher, my mission is to prepare my students for college and career. Many of my junior and senior students have expressed an interest in working in the sports arena and I have found that iHire/Work In Sports Sports Career Game Plan to be an outstanding program to help them make the most of their college career. It helps them develop the necessary skills and relevant experience that will assist in rising above the crowd of applicants when they enter the job force. As a faculty member, I chose to make WorkinSports.com and the GamePlan part of my intro course and required assignments as completion of the GamePlan. It has benefited my students who have learned many things such as resume building, networking, building social platforms, and other areas which will help them succeed. The students who took the time to do the work and pay attention rather than just "getting done" have all commented highly about what they learned. I used this program for an Internship Prep course. I had small class but the students loved it. They did not complain about the price point and said that did not deter them from taking the class.
