However, if you use RO or distilled water it will affect the hydrogen production a little. The water goes into the main body is used only for the separate electrolysis process and will not enter the drinking water in the pitcher, so you can use tap water as well. Some area has high mineral content in the tap water or well water, and you may need more frequent citric acid cleaning than usual.
