Program sucks! Everyone ~ or almost everyone ~ knows that it is a preference to put a comma before the word 'and' when listing things. This stupid program always tells me I need a comma! Not even worth installing.
My experience with Grammarly has really helped me a lot in using it confidently especially when the use English as my second language on my daily journey. I enjoyed it as an experience forward that will greatly benefit me.
Although I was quite disappointed to know that certain features needed to be paid for, I helped me very much. I go to a writing class every week, but I'm currently in lockdown. Grammarly helps correct me while I'm writing my essays. Thank you, Grammarly!
I do like the auto-corrections and suggestions. There are times when I want emphasis in my writing and Grammarly would prefer I be more concise by eliminating words meant to give emphasis. Other than that, I love the help.
Grammarly has been a great app for me because English is not my first language. It helped me a lot when writing an email. This is the best app and really helpful for people who are struggling with English.
It's too slow, I rather correct myself, than wait for this as it's inefficient. Also, each week, the corrections may vary, which ends up making it even more inefficient, for example: cancelled - canceled. Makes this annoying.
Grammarly is amazing for writing and emails and everything, but there are a couple of flaws. 1. sometimes it will make a lot of mistakes on corrections on word choice, and a lot of them make no sense at all. 2. A lot of the stuff I was hoping to get through Grammarly is paid for and is only available with premium. Besides these flaws, great app and totally worth it!
I love this tool! It helps me to compose emails that are grammatically correct and that give the tone that I want to give as well.
I love the insight report that comes in once a week as well. It gives me valuable information about the things I wrote the week prior.
I don't have proof of purchase because our office bought a license for the entire organization and I do not have access to that information, but I assure you, I use this tool every single day.
I'm a writer by profession and Grammarly has had my backs in more scenarios than I can count. It makes writing fairly stress-free. I also look forward to the weekly analytics update to see how my writing has progressed week by week!

It really help with my emails and reports. I do not have to go back to check my sentences and spelling error and its time saving with less stressful having to check all your words and sentences. I am glad I have installed the Grammarly APP and it really helps.

I'm literally so sad - I'm so pissed off but I'm more so sad and deflated because I've lost a whole day's work. Temporary files or recovered files are incomplete - I had 52 pages of good solid work and the recovered document is 34. Grammarly froze Ms Word and I couldn't even save my work. I waited 3 hours for Ms Word to come around, closing all other applications and nothing worked. I can't tell you how disappointed I am in grammarly, both on product and service. If didn't have to stay up tonight to try re-do my work, I'd be... grammarly... just leave earth. Thank you.
I still have a contract to next year with Grammarly. I've changed my Email adress and now I can't log in. Your customer service is terrible. No agent to talk to. Ready to cancel but even that you cleverly have made hard to do.
Nope. Grammarly insisted on adding unnecessary commas without considering the length of the phrase. It also misunderstood words that were a clear typo for nouns that needed be capitalized. I confess that I was using the free account, but if this is the level of corrections and insights Grammarly offers, then I'm not interested. It is not for the good writers that want to be great, it's for the not-so-good who want to be good. Not my cup of tea. And I'm not even a native.
I use the free version and it is great. My favorite is the stats they send every week. I enjoy seeing how I write compared to other users... especially the vocabulary section where it tells me how many unique words I've used.
I realize it's in the fine print but Grammarly will charge your credit card at the time of renewal automatically without even having the courtesy of sending a single email reminder. I thought maybe I missed the email so I went back to check and I have over 100 emails from them mostly from Grammarly Insights but not a single email reminder that my account was about to expire and that they would auto-renew in March. And not a follow-up email with the receipt of payment either. You have to log in and download the PDF. They email just about every day about stuff except when it comes to billing and auto-renewal. They keep very quiet on that front so you forget. And if like me, you don't check until 5 months later and cancel they will not issue a prorated refund. Again, it's in the small print. Stay vigilant with Grammarly. You snooze they charge. Lesson learned.
I recently decided to give grammarly a second chance because I felt bad that I put out such a bad review before. So I saved up and bought the premium version. Not only was it expensive, but the advertised features weren't up to par. They don't fix most the problems, they just show you the problem. Sorry, but I'm being really honest.
This is one of the best tools which guides you to correct each and every Letter you write. Yes, it works in MS-Word, Outlook Email, Gmail, and the ultimate is when you use your whats app web as well.
For the beginners who don't know the grammar, vocablury this is the best way to correct their mistakes & learn.
Suggested to my colleagues and their language in communication has improved a lot and all wonder how this has happened in short time.
I am in 6th grade and this helps me so much with writing papers and stuff. I think anyone who writes papers or has some trouble with spelling should get this. I love that it is free. Also when you spell something wrong it will usually fix it as soon as you do something wrong. There is one thing I would change I think you should put the punctuation error fixer with the free plan that is the only thing I think would improve it.
The Program is not going to suddenly make you into an amazing writer. You need to have an understanding of basic English sentence structure, punctuation, etc. However, it is great to support your writing style and make sure you don't have any egregious spelling and grammar errors.
I like the analytics built into that are sent monthly. I would love to have more feedback on readability. Some of the analytics I'm not sure how to take, for example, the use of unique words. I'm not sure if that analytic is telling me that my writing is less readable the more unique words I am using, or if I just use a variety of words.
All in all in all I have found the program helpful. (Note this review is for the free version only)
Not a very good speller, as 1 can see. Grammer makes it so easy and confident. Grammer if anyone has trouble should be acquired. Writing this Grammer has helped, I have large fingers and type with one, now I have the confidence to write to use both hands and try to remember keys. Thank you Grammer
Answer: I agree with everyone else. I have been using grammarly for almost 2 years and I never had a problem with viruses or anything. It is a good product and well worth the investment.
Answer: Only for premium but everything else is free It's great!
Answer: Hi, Cath! We're sorry to hear about that. We care deeply about the satisfaction of our users, and we want to address any issues we can in order to improve. Could you please submit a support ticket via https://gram.ly/sitejabber so we can check on your request?
Answer: Make sure you have set it to your language, as the default is American English, and you may need to change it. If you don't need to, remember that you could have failed for other reasons (not enough information, too much information, using Grammarly as a tool that will get everything right etc.).
Answer: There is a limit, but I find that only a minor inconvenience. If the document goes over the size limit, just cut and paste the document by halves or thirds and run Grammarly checks on each part.
Answer: linguisoft.com - Gtrammarian PRO is a good one.
Answer: Hi, Aleksandra! We can't expect Grammarly to work effectively with song lyrics because grammar rules are often ignored altogether to add aesthetic elements to them. If you have any other questions, please contact us directly at http://gram.ly/3zJAHbw.
Answer: Hi, John! This shouldn't be happening, but if you are experiencing this issue, we suggest contacting our technical support team via: gram.ly/3zJAHbw. They can help you troubleshoot this issue. We hope this helps!
Answer: Hi, Anne! If you need to recover any of your recently deleted documents, contact our support team by submitting a ticket through this link: gram.ly/3zJAHbw. We might be able to recover them!

Please note that "canceled" is more common for American English, while "cancelled" for British English.
Grammarly recognizes a number of spelling, grammar, and punctuation differences in American, British, Canadian, and Australian English.
You can change your language preference at https://account.grammarly.com/customize/language.
You can also set up your language preference in the Grammarly browser extension: simply click the Grammarly icon in your browser's toolbar and select your preferred setting in the dropdown menu next to 'I write in'.
