Bought a ticket with them, they cancelled it on the day I was flying. I called the airlines and they said this agent did not pay them correctly. It's just coming up to a month and I'm still waiting for a refund. Do not use this agent, they are not ethical.
It is my first time to use this site. In the process of doing it, I booked and bought unnecessary services. Right after, I tried to remove them such as a seat reservation and flexible ticket, That was so hard. I called them right away and connected to a representative. He transferred my call to another agent. And then, as you know, I am holding a phone and waiting for about an hour and half, waiting until now.
Meanwhile, I am writing this review thinking why this company did not make a section to edit. It only has an upgrade part not the removing part. I checked and marked it because it did not go to the next phase. I found out that is not necessary
The send me the tickets I bought, so it is ok. I had to fight through numerous useless add-on they tried to sell. They mishandled my mobile number when placing the order so I could not log in to airline website to modify my booking. The only way to contact support is via US phone which is ridiculous.
My flight was rescheduled over a month ago. I keep getting emails saying that they are looking into a refund and will get back to me. When? The customer service is terrible. I've gotten the same email 3 times already containing with no actual information. I will never book with Go To Gate again.
It's maddening how services are unbundled and that even though seat selection is part of the ticket cost, there is no seat available that has a zero cost. I don't want to have to refuse all sorts of additional service, all for an additional fee, before getting my ticket.
Everything was fine until we got to the very end. With a charged additional eighty five dollars because of the flight being in high demand that was an unexpected charge. To me it's unacceptable.

Adding a last minute $47 increase in the cost of the ticket due to a "high demand" defeats the purpose of going through a discount site to purchase a ticket. This could have been stated from the beginning before going through the very long list of options. The significant increase is notably dishonest and deceitful.
I booked a flight through Gotogate, and the airline changed my itinerary to an inconvenient flight with a stopover. I requested a rebooking on March 2, and despite multiple follow-ups, they kept stalling with the same excuse: "waiting for confirmation." Aegean Airlines confirmed that Gotogate has full authority to change my ticket, yet Gotogate refuses to act. After more than two weeks of delays, empty promises, and no clear timelines, I am still waiting for my flight to be rebooked. Every time I contact them, they ask me for the same details again as if my request never existed. This is unacceptable and completely unprofessional. If you value your time and money, do not book through Gotogate. Their customer service is useless, and they will leave you stranded. Avoid them at all costs!
I booked a flight from Melbourne to Taipei via Ho Chi Minh through GoToGate. At the airport, I was denied boarding because I wasn't informed I needed a transit visa for Vietnam. GoToGate gave no warning at any point, and when I called their support, they were rude and refused to help. I had to buy a last-minute Scoot ticket for AUD 1,094, on top of the original AUD 617 ticket that I couldn't use. Total loss: AUD 1,711 – all because GoToGate failed to inform or assist. Completely irresponsible company. Avoid them at all costs.
Booked 3 seats in a row but not alerted of extra charge at time of seat selection. Was charged $124 per seat and didn't want that charge. Please select my seats for me at no charge. Thank you.
We made a reservation to travel from US to Stockholm and made purchases for seats and baggage. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our trip due to some conflicts. This was done well within 24 hours.
The customer representative refunded us ticket fare and seat reservation fee but said that baggage fee is not refundable according to airline policy. And that we need to contact Iceland Air for it. So, we agreed to the refund amount (total - baggage - service fee) as we thought we will talk to the airline and sort that out.
When we called the airline, they said they do not see a receipt on their end for baggage and that we should contact Go To Gate. On our second call with Go To Gate, is when we realized that the baggage is being purchased from Go To Gate and is not refundable.
A service fee was charged to process the trip cancellation. Why is baggage fee ($228) not being refunded for a travel that was cancelled within 24 hrs? How is withholding this fee justifiable for a trip not taken? When we were making the reservation on the website, nowhere was it mentioned that the fee is nonrefundable under any circumstance.
Totally disappointed with our experience. We should have read the online reviews beforehand.
