It's so easy to get a coupon an medication that exist in a pharmacy. So easy to just print out the coupon, and the even include a coupon card that can be used at nearly every pharmacy
One of the actors says that he has insurance, but goods saves him more. On the bottom of the screen, it CLEARLY says "not to be combined with other insurance ". Sounds misleading to me...
I went to my pharmacy to pick up an antibiotic. With my insurance, the cost was $26. With the GoodRx app coupon, my cost was only $11. And it was so easy to use. My pharmacist thought it was great!
They took my money knowing they could not help me. I don't know why they try to continue to help me knowing my illness needed to see the doctor
We’re really sorry to hear that your GoodRx Care experience was not the best, Jackie. Sometimes our providers feel the best care you can receive is from an in-person provider. Additionally, our refill service is limited to certain prescriptions our providers are able to refill via telehealth. We do offer a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee and would be happy to refund your visit fee. Please send us a message through your GoodRx Care account, and we’ll be more than happy to help. We are available Monday through Friday from 6am to 7pm PST, and have delayed hours on the weekend.
I did some research. I filled my prescriptions today at Walmart Pharmcy. I found GoodRx's card in my mail when I got home. After trying to see if GoodRx was a scam I found this page and GoodRx's website. I put in one of my prescriptions into GoodRx's search and my town. I paid $10 (my Insurance's copay) for Fenofibrate. According to GoodRx's website Walmart pharmacy would charge me $28.39, almost three times what I actually paid. What I am gathering if you use GoodRx, your insurance is not billed for their portion hence why its higher after trying to use GoodRx.
I think the doctor that posted a review was dead on. Once you use GoodRx's discount card, you very likely will find your information sold, maybe even your identity stolen. My advice is to tear up the card the moment you receive it in the mail and toss it in the trash where it belongs.
To good ole Douglas, you are nothing more than a lying *******@Admin, the name was not personal information, why you may ask is because he is posting to this page under that name. That makes it public information as everyone can see it.
More than 3 million people use GoodRx to save on their prescriptions every month. In our experience, SiteJabber attracts the very, very few people who like to write negative reviews and, more importantly, these reviewers never respond when we attempt to help them resolve their issues (which we can!). So... we don't respond to comments here any more. Please email info@goodrx.com if you'd like help. Thanks.
I tried using it at CVS and Walgreens and they do take it but they wouldn't give me the price it showed cause I didn't have the doctor prescription how can I have a doctor prescription if it's an over the counter medication waste of time don't even bother
Hi Roel! In order to use a GoodRx discount at the pharmacy, you will need a valid prescription from your doctor, even if it is an over the counter medication. If you have any further questions, please give us a call at 888-799-2553.
Saves me a ton of money on most of my prescriptions. I saved $45 a month on two different medications but for some reason the good RX gold is double the price so I do not use good RX gold
Hello! We are so happy that we were able to help you save on your prescriptions with GoodRx! Because GoodRx compares prices at many different pharmacies, there are sometimes lower prices available with a GoodRx coupon. If you have a GoodRx Gold account, you are still able to use a GoodRx coupon if you find that it offers a better price for your prescription at a pharmacy in your area!
I have been using the Gold RX family plan which has really made a big difference in our families financial budget. Now Gold RX has added features in order to up the price of the membership. I don't use and will not use the new features. My family only uses the prescription portion of Gold RX and I feel as though Gold RX executive team did not think this change all the way through and should have given customers the option to either stay on the $9.99 Family Gold prescription plan or pay $20 for the other services. This cookie cutter price hike is not helpful to my family that need the savings for the prescriptions only but being forced to either pay an extra $10 for services I will never use. Now the EpiPen I need for my son is $300 but it was only $80 with the family gold plan. This cookie cutter price hike is the worst change Gold RX could have made. Not everyone (my family) is benefiting from this change. The free version is not cost effective for the prescriptions we actually need.
Please give the customers that keeps Gold Rx in business and the CEO getting richer by the day the option to choose the membership they want to use that is cost effective.
We understand that the price of membership is a big factor in your budgeting decisions Tink; this price update will allow us to deliver even more value to your membership including deeper discounts on the medications you need. If possible you are able to save significantly by paying for a full year at once rather than monthly basis. We would like to apologize for any confusion or frustrations this has caused and we'd like to add a 1-month free credit to your Gold account for the inconvenience. Please send us a private message with the Member ID or email associated with your account and we will add the credit as soon as possible. Thank you.
I made the mistake of creating a free account. I was sent an offer for a one time discount coupon (over their regular coupon price) for a med for $4.42 for up to 83 of them. NO WHERE ON THE COUPON did it say it was limited to 30 for that price. Called then at the pharmacy yesterday evening. Customer service said the price was $8.79 regardless of what the coupon said. I asked why the coupon was wrong then and got no answer.
Called customer service today who said that price is only for 30 pills which the coupon did not indicate. She stated ALL coupons say for how many. No they don't. My coupon didn't. I read her everything on my coupon. I read her the conditions attached to the coupon which says up through 83 pills. That customer service rep talked over me repeatedly and told me that the coupon is wrong, wouldn't listen to what I said and didn't care what I had taken photos of from my computer screen. I told this kind of behavior was unethical by the company.
If the $4.42 was only for 30 pills they clearly needed to indicate that! Photos of are my computer screen and no where does it say that price is only good for 30 pills. Of course I do wonder now how much money they will make selling my information. To protect my privacy I will be canceling my account after I have this settled (which I doubt will happen). I asked to speak to a supervisor and was not allowed to. I was told one will call me back. I doubt that will happen.
We can understand where your confusion and frustration stemmed from, Car, and would like to apologize. The price of a GoodRx coupon prescription can vary based on the prescription configuration, which can be adjusted by using the drop down menu. From there, you are able to update the coupon details; brand, form, dosage, and quantity; to match your script.
Based on the provided images, it looks as if your coupon was for 30 tablets of pravastatin 40mg. However, the $8.79 you paid was for the quantity of 83 tablets at the Walmart in your area. After connecting with the appropriate teams and verifying the information we have in our system; we can see the confusion lied with the 1-83 days, as listed on your second photo. 1-83 days is not a reference to the amount of pills in your prescription, but to the duration your script may last.
In regards to your privacy, if you would like to have it removed from our system you can do so using the link below. Please note data deletion can take at least 45 days to complete: https://goodrx.co/privacy.
We once again would like to apologize for the confusion, and will take your feedback to our team to improve our system and rectify future confusion.
When it looks too good to be true... it is. A prescription that usually costs $150-280 had a coupon on GoodRx for $12.34. Wasted a lot of my pharmacist's and my time because the price I would be charged was $156. Switch and bait! Don't bother... go to Canadadrugs.com or affordablefdrugs.com or northdrugstore.com.
Note: I don't believe there was an error because a second drug in the same family that is even more expensive showed similar savings but proved not to be. In addition, I called Goodrx 2 times to verify the validity of the coupon and was told the coupon would work. After my pharmacist tried to process it, the coupon value changed. I called a 3rd time after this and interestingly, the value on the coupon changed and the person I spoke with was rude.
I have been buying drugs in Canada for several years whenever it effects a savings for me and have had no problems with legality. It is well known that unless it is a controlled substance, they look the other way. Kind of like illegal immigration. It's illegal but it's been going on for decades. I don't see any threat trying to save money by purchasing from Canada. It's name brand manufacturers. You can also go to Mexico and purchase many drugs without a prescription. It's quite a savings. When the drug companies decide to stop being greedy, then consumers will have no reason to take their business outside the country or get sucked in by these unreliable websites.
Hmm. A few things to consider:
1) We'd love to help resolve your issue, as there was clearly an error and we can make this right.
2) Be aware that purchasing Rx's from Canada is currently illegal.
Used to get huge savings from GoodRx but now you have to pay and be a member in order to get the discounts. Used to be a good option to save money now it COSTS money to use. Fail.
Hi Michael! Sorry for the confusion. To use our free coupons, you don't need to make an account or put in any information - just search a drug and open a coupon to see for yourself! The prompts you are seeing are for our GoodRx Gold membership, which does require an account and a monthly fee. You can use GoodRx without signing up for Gold.
I can never thank you enough. I started using the lidocaine 5% patch sometime in June per a Doctor of Pain Mgmt. In July my coverage changed and I was told that I am not eligible to receive the patch from them. I appealed the decision and they would still not provide it to me. I have severe pain on my lower left side due a kidney removal. I have pain with just about everything I do since Jan, 2004. Then I got the patch and what a difference. I use 3 a day to limit almost all of the pain I experience. The price I was given from my pharmacy was almost $500/month. I could never afford that as I am retired and on a fixed income. Then I received information about Good RX. So far, I am able to get my Lidocaine 5% patches from a different pharmacy and my coupon from Goodrx for right now for about $176 a month. Though still a little high, I will not go back to having constant pain due to Goodrx. Thank you so much for being there for me. I am doing so much better that I can do so much more than I was previously not able to do. I am so lucky that you are there for me. Thank you, thank you and thank you again.
Jackie K
Thank you for sharing!
I am between jobs and don't have insurance. I have a montly prescription for Armodafinil *******@150mg. With my prior insurance it was $20 bucks.
Without insurance the cost was going to be OVER $500!
I went to that giant discount store with the smiley faces and presented a coupon code I got from GoodRx. Out the door I paid $50! WOW!
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU GOODRX! They are the real deal!
I called my local CVS and gave them the GoodRX code and boom Paid the price that was on the coupon. Just call your pharmacy first and have them check it out. SImple as that
Tried to us a GoodRx coupon at my CVS. The pharmacist told me it's a scam, they do not honor GoodRx coupons and consider GoodRx to be false advertising. Stay away.
Hm. That’s just not true. We work very closely with CVS and talk to their leadership almost weekly. Please call us at (888) 799-2553 with your issue and we'll do our best to help.
I went to Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy to buy Finasteride. I printed the coupon, as requested. They just told me they do not accept and wanted to charge an absurd price.
Stay Away!
Our prices are contractually set with pharmacies. Please email help@goodrx.com for assistance. If you've had a bad experience, we'd like to make it right.
I almost didnt bother because of all the negative reviews. So glad I decided that it wouldnt hurt to try. I am so skeptical of all the scams out there. I work for a major news channel and would not have bothered to write this review if it was less than a great experience. So simple! It really is an amazing money saver. I asked for my Dr. to prescribe a generic equivalent to save money. When I called to see if it was ready I asked what the total would be and was floored when she told me it was over $500. I asked if she was sure that was for the generic version and she said yes. I Googled prescription coupons and Im so glad I found GoodRx! It gave me a list of what it would cost for my prescription at a number of different pharmacies and it said it would be $19 and some change for the exact same prescription. I Googled Is GoodRX a scam. I called the Jewel-Osco Pharmacy and asked if it was legit. They said yes. I entered only my email address and they emailed me the coupon to show the pharmacy. I went and picked up my prescription and confirmed that it was the EXACT same medicine. He said yes and explained how it worked. I showed the coupon and I paid $20 and got change back. Over $500 in savings! Walked out of there thinking I cant wait to write a review to tell everyone that its 100% legit. Please try it! It wont hurt to try. I promise! So simple!
Tried to get a prescription for a UTI took days to no avail. There is no live chat. No way to contact anyone. Just going back and forth for days meanwhile I'm suffering. This company is dangerous.

Had a very bad experience. It took me 45 minutes to fill out their application and medical workup to get generic Viagra. I also had to upload two pictures. Walmart referred me to them. I have very few medical conditions just pretty much a thyroid condition that I've been taking for 15 years. I've taken this medication before but after over an hour their answer was they don't feel comfortable in writing a script. What a bunch of liars and a bunch of bologna and just a waste of my time. They charge you money credit card and I've asked for them to return that money to my credit card or I will dispute the charge. I wouldn't waste my time in the hopes of having them get a script sent over to Walmart. I don't even think the qualified to do it. I'm going to create a better Business bureau case from it. They have 110 complaints with the better Business bureau mine will be 111. Also check out chess pilot with them as there are many one-star reviews. I wish I would have come to site jobber and trust pilot before I wasted my time with them

I have been getting a prescription that my "workers comp" wouldn't pay for.The cost to me was $27.99 at Walgreens in California Marin County. I got my GoodRx card and had it filled again and it cost me only $17.and some cents.
I cannot say enough about this card because I am on a disability income which is really really hard. It is at or below the poverty line. SO I MUST SAY THAT THIS CARD IS LEGIT AT MY WALLGREENS AND IT SAVED ME ABOUT NINE DOLLARS AND SOME CENTS.
Under a twenty dollar bill is a super help and thank goodness for this company! If you don't know if your pharmacy takes the card call em first and "shop around" for a pharmacy that does if yours doesn't. You won't be sorry, I wasn't!
Answer: Yes we do. Just present coupon to save. Have a nice day
Answer: If you have any questions, we're here to help - please email help@goodrx.com and we'll get back quickly. Pharmacists have the discretion to honor or refuse controlled substance coupons, but most of them (like 99%) will take them, which is why we list them (and indicate that they may not be accepted). Hope that helps.
Answer: Hi Terry! You will need to present the coupon to the pharmacist, usually before, they fill a prescription. If you doctor's office is willing to do so for you then it may be okay, but we would suggest you present a new coupon each time you fill or refill. Sometimes our prices fluctuate and checking the coupons may get you a deeper discount. If you, or your doctor, presented a coupon and the pharmacist, for whatever reason, says the coupon cannot be used please give us a call at 1-888-799-2553, our Advocacy Team would love to assist you! Our hours are Monday-Sunday, between the hours of 8AM and 7PM CT.
Answer: Hi there - can we help you? Head to our help section for information on how we do business.
Answer: It takes very little time. Immediately after sign up you'll receive the information you need to purchase at our discounted rates.
Answer: Hi Shirley! We list coupons for Phentermine here: https://www.goodrx.com/phentermine Please be sure to update the script details and zip code to see prices for your area.
Answer: Please give our GoodRx support team a call at 888-799-2553, so they can contact the pharmacy regarding the price discrepancy, Steve. They're available Mon-Sun, from 6 AM to 9 PM CT.
Answer: GoodRx can be used in place of Medicaid as long as the two aren't combined. Please give us a call at 888-799-2553, so we can contact the pharmacy on your behalf. We're available Mon-Sun, from 6 AM to 9 PM CT.
Answer: Great question, Don! Since GoodRx compares prices at different pharmacies, there are sometimes lower prices with a GoodRx coupon. If you have a GoodRx Gold account, you are still able to use a GoodRx coupon if you find that it offers a better price for your prescription at a pharmacy in your area.
Answer: Hello there Anita, we're sorry for your frustrating experience at Walgreens. Please give us a call so we may investigate this and reach out to the pharmacy on your behalf. We can be reached at 888-799-2553, Monday through Sunday from 8am to 7pm CT.
GoodRx has a rating of 2.8 stars from 604 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with GoodRx most frequently mention customer service, coupon price and discount card. GoodRx ranks 1st among Pharmacy sites.
It's not misleading - you simply can't combine the two discounts. Not sure why that would merit a 1-star review.
