I had a few questions about my GoFundMe page...

When I contacted their Customer Happiness Team, I was skeptical when I noticed a banner that said that they would reply within the next 30 mins...but they did so within 10 mins!!!

My experience so far has been great, and I would recommend this to all fundraisers!

When I was ready to publish my campaign the system kept telling me it was not ready and it didn't give me any reason or explanation. I asked for online help a couple of times but I didn't get any reply for 2 days. Then I asked for help from another page on the platform and finally, I got an email telling me someone would take care of helping me. The next day the technical issue was resolved. I appreciate anyhow this platform is available. Perhaps the staff is not enough for the amount of people using the service.

Most times when I contact customer service via the website, it's a few days before anyone gets back to me. I don't even think I waited an hour before I got an email and everything was resolved. Just unbelievable and amazing customer service and I work in customer service everyday. So thank you!

SO grateful!

This is my 1st experience with GoFundMe. There was a terrible explosion this past week and someone I love was critically injured. I am a 'tech dunce' and when I contacted GoFundMe for assistance, they responded so kindly almost immediately and were very professional and compassionate. I am very grateful that such a place as this exists.

Go fund me sucks

I have been trying to set up a money transfer to my bank for two weeks now! It is ridiculous! It tells me to verify my email I do but then it sends me right back to the same page telling me to verify my email address. How many times does it need to be verified? I mean come on, I have verified and verified and yes I have sent in all the required documents needed for a transfer yet still not set up all the way. Why not? I think gofundme is a branch of the damn IRS. Actually its easier to get a refund from the IRS than it is to get funds from this stupid website. I give gofundme a -10 points. It would be helpful if they actually had someone I could talk to but you know they dont.

Awesome organization!

I made a GoFundMe page to help with the expenses for my new kitty Iris who had a bad trauma to her eye and needed a lot of medical treatment. Along with other donations from friends and family, GoFundMe made a $500 donation! A lovely GoFundMe team member nominated my campaign to receive a donation from GoFundMe as part of their Give Back program. Something I never knew hey done until I made this page. I was very shocked and oh so ever grateful for this generous donation, it has helped me out a lot and means the world to me!
Also along the way I had a few questions so I fired off emails to the GoFundMe team and got very quick and helpful responses! Would definitely recommend this organization for anyone needing to raise money!
P. s Iris has since got her Enucleation surgery and is doing great! Iris sends kitten kisses

I had difficulty locating a GOFUND my blind cousin had a friend of her deceased husband place for her.
I sent a message to customer service in the evening before shutting down my phone and lo & behold, there was a response the very next am!
They're good!

I contacted gofundme in regard to a project I am involved with and while the company potentially could have helped me, they were honest in their assessment that perhaps they weren't the best option for this particular project and even offered up alternatives. While I was unable to use their service this time, they will be the first company I go to in the future because you don't usually get that kind of honesty these days.

I contacted support because I saw that someone had put spam on another person's GoFundMe. The person was asking for help and money stating their safety was in danger and were doing so on a fund raising money for the family after the tragic death of a young father and husband. I was unsure what to do but was sure that it would be upsetting to the family and friends' of the deceased. The support staff was quick to take down the horrible post and notified me immediately. I was so grateful and surprised at the efficiency.

Great customer service
September 12, 2018

I recently opened a campaign for someone based on a discussion my from local radio station aired. I made the first donation to get things going. I informed the radio station that the GoFundMe campaign is available should the listening audience care to help. I was informed that the matter had been resolved already and the money was not needed. When I contacted GoFundMe support to ask that all money donation get returned without penalty or fees, they quickly responded and did what I had asked. I appreciate the care provided.

Customers really matter
September 8, 2018

I have used GoFund for a few years for my missionary work and it has always been an easy process. As I was setting up my new campaign, I made a mistake and couldn't figure things out by myself (although I should have been able to) I contacted CH and they not only responded immediately but they helped right away. Lauren, the rep, was very helpful and actually had to fix my mistake twice because I felt impatient with myself! She answered all of questions and even followed up after everything was done. Customers really do matter to GoFund and nowadays that is a rarity! Thank you so much for showing simple kindness!

So there I was with a $15 charge from GoFundMe on my credit card. No explanation for the charge. And frankly, I had just closed one account because of a problem with a fraudulent charge (still haven't figured out who). So I e-mailed GoFundMe. I got an immediate explanation. I got immediate relief of mind that someone wasn't messing with my new credit card account. Seriously, GoFundMe is a worthy cause and I don't mind paying the "tip." And they did a really good job with their customer service!

I signed up for gofundme.com to raise money for an important cause. Not only do they take about half of the donations, they say "You have raised x amount of money." They never tell you the real amount you receive in public! Shame on them. In addition, they do not have a telephone number you can call to talk to a customer representative if you have questions or problems. They give you the impression they are going to help you market your cause to raise money but it is all through Facebook and your own friends, which I could have done myself. You might AS WELL DO IT YOURSELF ON FACEBOOK! This is the biggest and most disappointing scam around. Don't do it! Find an alternative.

When i first initiated contact I thought it would be a string along process inevitably ending in some form of monetary gibberish with monumental fees.
After explaining my plight. I was accepted and given the "GFM" platform to seek assistance.
I met some genuinely compassionate wonderful humans.
The help i received from those employed through " GFM" was accurate and Always preaented in a timely manner and understandable. Thank you.
