Although I was hopeful, as this website seemed to offer well-priced deals, I was quickly disappointed. I went through the entire process: I went to a doctor's office to get an 'official' prescription, and then uploaded it for accurate prescription filling. I included my pupillary distance measurement, Axis, Cylinder, and Sphere. I know they only fill single focal prescriptions, but that was fine: I wanted glasses only for distance. After filling, I made an order to my size (which you can only order certain lenses in certain sizes... which screams "Amazon Warehouse Returns section" to me), and I waited.
A week and a half later, the glasses arrive. The frames quite literally are so thin and weak, they bend sideways as my wife picks them up to her surprise. She indicates this to me, so I take a look at them. The prescription is awful, causing double vision and blurriness. I download their online app that states it is FDA approved, and going to get my prescription from my glasses for me. It does so. Turns out: they filled the wrong prescription, with the wrong Axis, with the wrong pupillary distance.
Went to the online AI bot to attempt to get a person - horribly annoying bot that is attempting to replicate the experience of chatting with a 9 year old who just discovered emojis. Finished up by spamming it until it gave me a person, and then spoke with the person. The person stated that "I see you have a multifocal prescription, but we only fill single focal prescriptions". I said "I know this, I wanted a single focal prescription, you simply filled it wrong", to which the agent attempted to correct me, until I showed her that her own app gave the "wrong" readings of the prescription. So either her app is BS, or they filled the script wrong.
Regardless, don't take the 110% offer as "store credit", because if it goes wrong AGAIN (and it will), you won't be able to get a full refund ever again, because now its store credit. Returning them today, and expecting a full refund or I will be challenging it through my bank. This company is a good IDEA, but horrifically bad execution. Also keep in mind: the back of your frame "arms" are ordinarily "bent" by your doctor to hold onto the back of your ears, but since this is an online company you won't be able to get that, so you'll have perfectly straight frames regardless of what you do.
The website is set up to be easily used, but constantly bombards you with ads about "50% off", which is relevant, because the glasses are cheap and poorly made. I understand if you want a fashion pair of glasses or something, but this site should not be used for any serious prescriptions, or even basic prescriptions, as people may not notice the mistakes being made, so they can wear the glasses and make their eyes worse.
