Took a long time to get delivery, but when it came out is the exact part I needed. I had to replace a unit that failed. I have a working 40 year old Chamberlain garage door opener that failed 20 years ago and I got a after market receiver from Sears that now has given out. Found this unit, the exact duplicate of the Sears unit.

Remote control range suddenly dropped drastically and was intermittent. When operational, car almost touched garage door for remote opening. Found replacement logic board assembly on www.gatehousesupplies.com. Delivered promptly in a solid box with boards enclosed in a static free bag to protect components. Board delivered mounted in a new back cover for the opener motor. The back panel contained both the logic board and power supply boards. Could not install the new back cover with new boards since not possible to remove swing down plastic lens cover for rear light bulb. Removed both boards from old and new rear covers and installed new boards in original back cover. Opener range returned to previous 185+ ft range. Delighted with product and price.
Found what I was looking cheaper than from LiftMaster. After I received the camera, it only took about five minutes to set it up and figure out where to mount it. Once that was done it has worked out great. Now I know when a garage door opens and closes and any time there is movement in my garage.

I received a faulty logic board... no fault of Gatehouse. I initially wrote a poor review based on a misunderstanding of their exchange policy. My fault, not theirs. They immediately contacted me and corrected the problem... very impressed with the way they handled it and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.

Long delay from order to shipping with no communication till I complained then responded that they ran out of product. Communication increases customer satisfaction especially on internet purchases and honor offers. Thank you

Ordered from gatehouse due to the published delivery date into google's product feed, had many other options to choose from but chose Gatehouse due to positive reviews and fastest delivery time. The item said in-stock on site, but when placing the order with 2 day delivery it was stuck in "processing". The item was not instock and I kept being mislead by their support. Would not have had a negative experience if they had been honest. But they weren't, and that usually means if they are dishonest at this level, then they can only be worse in more serious areas. Do not use.
I ordered a logic board from GateHouse Supplies. After two weeks of the part not showing up, I contacted Brandy, customer service rep, at GateHouse. She was very curt and a bit rude to me. I am very frustrated that their website didn't state 'out of stock' and they lead me to believe the part would be sent. I even received an email from them checking to see if the part had arrived. I had not, so that is why I contacted them.
Don't trust this place. They will waste your time and then treat you like dirt.
Response to Business: your explanation doesn't change my opinion about your return policy / company. Obviously. I wouldn't be happy to receive a used part marketed as a new one, but you've even admitted that in my situation (unopened package), this wouldn't be a concern. Yet you happily apply a blanket no return policy. Still a hard no for me on buying or recommending anything from Gate House Supplies.

After ordering the part and seeing that it was guaranteed to be here in two days, I thought, wow, good price, two days, good deal... The part was ordered 9/20. Here it is 9/25 today, not only do I not have the part, I never got an emailing. After calling them, the person tells me it's on back order from the factory; should be here Monday or Tuesday. Huh...?
Ordered an item, paid for faster delivery and still waiting for item 2 weeks later. Website says Pending Shipment. But part still says in stock. No one picks up if you call customer support, So can't even cancel the order. Stuck badly!

Placed and order that showed to be in Stock online on 5/14/2020 as of today part has NOT been shipped out and asked them to expedite the shipping since this has taken so long and they will not unless I pay for it myself. I understand that shipping has been off during this time but the fact still remains if you have it marked in stock means you have it on your shelf and can ship it out the same day as ordered or the latest the next business day. I was told today that it should ship either this afternoon or tomorrow 5/22/2020.
Common sense would dictate that 2 day shipping would be two days... Wrong! I ordered a belt drive on Tuesday evening and understood from the call taker that I would receive it on Thursday. I paid $27.83 to expedite this order! Come Thursday evening I call and begin the customer service run around. I had to speak with two call takers and finally their supervisor. All I asked for was a partial refund on the shipping for my order. There's no room for any refund I was told - they paid the $27. Xx shipping and there's nothing further that they can do. In the end I am still stuck paying the extra money and waiting an extra day for the much needed part. Who was it that once said, "The customer is always right"?

Again we are sorry for your confusion. When you placed the order late Tuesday night we informed you and you understood that the order would not ship until Wednesday. It shipped out Wednesday as promised and it went Fed Ex 2 day as requested.
Fed Ex "Next Day Air" (or one day if you will) that you chose not to do because it was an expensive option, would have given it to you Thursday.
Instead, you asked for "Fed Ex 2 day air" which provides for a Friday delivery.
I am very sorry that you misunderstood how fed Ex counts the days but that has nothing to do with our company or our performance as we shipped the package when promised and using the method your requested.

We've spent over $5500 with this company over the past couple years. And, agree that shipments take longer than usual but they charged us for 2nd day air which we did not authorize. We placed our order with "Amber" who refused to split the difference with us (around $35). Her customer service skills are lacking to say the least.

We understand your frustration however as we explained to you the order was placed by one of your colleges and they asked for the expedited shipping at the additional cost. We sent an order confirmation with all of the prices and expedited shipping charges appx one week before shipping, that charge was never questioned. The order was sent out using that expedited shipping method and you received it. That charge is a hard charge to us from Fed Ex we are not able to offer a discount on the service that was provided. We do appreciate your business and hope that you understand that we can not be responsible for an error that was made by your company.
I ordered this product 10 days ago. After they let me know the sale was confirmed, I had no further correspondence from GateHouse. I called last week to find out what was going on. At that time they let me know the item was back ordered and that it should ship to me on Friday. They would send an email to confirm. It's now the following Tuesday and still no product or information.

Handy product but experience with GateHouse wasn't great. I placed order in April, asked about status months later and was told they would he re-stocked. Then I got notice they were in stock and did I want to order, so I did... since I wasn't told my original order was being processed. Now I have twice the number I need, half od them bought at a higher price.
The instructions included with the new remote were very clear and easy to follow. Ordering online was simple, too. I could easily tell which remote I needed. Shipment was timely. All in all, I highly recommend Gatehouse Supplies!
I ordered the product with the assumption that gatehouse was able to ship it quickly. After checking on the order a few days later I found they were waiting on a supplier to ship them the material before it could be shipped to me. I still don't have my order, and I will be less likely to use Gatehouse in the future after this experience.
Answer: I think if you know for sure what part number you need and they ship you the correct part (and it works), then you should be fine. Personally, I wouldn't buy anything from them again,

I am really sorry about this but this policy is for our customer's protection.
Believe it or not, some customers will install the boards, then realize that it's not the issue and send it back for a refund.
Once we get it back we can't send it out to another customer because it may have been plugged in and possibly damaged.
How would you feel if you received a part in the mail that someone else used first?
I understand that this scenario does not apply to you but hopefully, it lets you better understand the reason for the policy.
