Contacted Customer Service via web chat, as no number was provided at first.
DENIED REFUND, DENIED GIFT CARD, DENIED PROMO. Was offered phone support instead.
Phone Support took 15 minutes to answer the phone after running through the gambit of Automated Bull$#*! designed to drive you nuts so you'll quit trying. "Did you Do this, do that, try this, try that blahblahblah" also DENIED REFUND, DENIED GIFT CARD, DENIED PROMO. No sympathy, policy is policy, our system doesn't allow us to alter this after start time. Was offered a supervisor.
Supervisor DENIED REFUND, DENIED GIFT CARD, DENIED PROMO. She said there was nothing she could do, absolutely nothing.
ZERO Customer Support, ZERO Sympathy, PREDATORY SERVICE. The agents sounded very nice on the phone, but their company gives ZERO $#*!s about anyone using their service. Once they take your money, Fandango doesn't give a rats $#*! about you.
This is the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. No resolution was found. I even, politely, told them I was going to leave the crappiest review I could think of in response to this BS customer service, absolutely nothing. Completely useless customer support.
Total $#*! of a site. Will make sure all of my friends and family, ticktock, youtube, instagram, Snapchat etc users will never use this service again.

Fandango should be liable. Their system doesn'twork. Fandango as a company shouldn't be allowed to use such a pice of crap system for their customers, and then avoid any responsibility of a glitch on their system. FANDANGO should not be able to operate. THEY ARE BIG THIEFS. I have been trying in multiple occasions to reach out to then through their interaction system (Fandango system) and it doesn't work. They are letting me for endless time on hold with a message of trying to transfer me to another agent, and it never happen, and eventually the system kicks me out. This is the worst of customer service. Fandango are acting like a thief. All my issue is because of a glitch on their system, is not the customer's fault. I wish Fandango to become bankrupt and to go out of business.
Today at 1:01 I purchased a ticket for my 12 years old son to go with a group of friends to watch Spiderman at 1:10pm. After I completed the purchase, I noticed that even though I chose the right seat (J17), the system provided me with the wrong one (N23). As soon as I noticed, I went back into the website and purchased the ticket one more time, and this time, it gave me the correct seat. Right after, I tried to cancel the previous purchase, but the system didn't allowed because it was 1:10pm sharp. I googled the customer service phone number, and by the time a life agent answered, it was already 1:15. I understand the cancelation policy, but at the same time, Fandango should be able to see that it wasn't my fault that the system had a glitch and provided me with the wrong seat. Since the moment that I purchased that ticket (CONFIRMATION #xxxxxxxxxx), it only passed 9 minutes. During those 9 minutes, I repurchased the ticket with the correct seat and attempted to cancel the previous one. I believe that under the circumstances, the least Fandango should do is to provide me with a credit for the $17.77 of my hard earned money, but I'd impossible to reach anyone with two neurons
What the heck is wrong with Fandango and approving the promos for the Annie's and Dr. Pepper offers? I had a problem 2 weeks ago and now my brother is having the same problem with receipt submissions not being approved in a timely manner for Dr. Pepper. Submission Confirmation Number: f580afe*******ffe*******f*******e5ea*******d. The promo states 2-5 days for approval and today is day 10! Also, his Annie's submission was flagged after the very first submission and has not heard anything from Fandango customer service for 17 days now after challenging the status. This is a REALLY REALLY BAD LOOK for Dr. Pepper, Annie's, & Fandango and a lot of people are venting about similar issues in a Facebook movie group I'm in with 27,000 other members. Needs to be fixed ASAP.

I am very confused & disappointed in the denial. It states that the time frame had passed so refund/exchange could not be processed. As you can see, Katrina's response was at 9:34 pm & our movie was scheduled to start at 11:05 pm so how is it that the showtime had already passed. Also please note that it took over an hr. To get connected to a customer service rep. I was caller #12 at the beginning of the process & it took well over an hr. To get a CSR. This was a special circumstance that we had to take my 85 yr. Old mother to the ER due to a bowel obstruction that required emergency surgery. It was NOT planned. Because we have choices in obtaining movie tickets through other. Venues as through the theater itself or Atom or Movietickets, we won't be using Fandango from now on. Very disappointed in response & lack of understanding/compassion on the part of Fandango. Be assured that I will use social media to the fullest to inform others of what transpired & not to use Fandango in the future. I had hoped that we could have turned this experience into a story of spectacular customer service, but unfortunately I was wrong. Reading other reviews, it seems Fandango does this routinely to their customers. Shame on you!

I found out mere moments after the show started that I'd accidentally purchased 2 sets of tickets for the movie. It was too late to cancel for credit on Fandango app, so I live chatted them later for a refund. Big surprise: They refused to grant me one.
I have spent HUNDREDS of dollars with them and have been loyal for years. Crediting me back my $33.00 is negligible compared to the future THOUSANDS of dollars of fees they won't collect from me.

Fandango! I do not recommend anything through them especially if you were born before 1970! What a freaking joke! I finally was able to send a message through their stupid app! Not Happy with them and AMC needs to Distance themselves from from Fandango! Here's my message complete with any typos as I tapped from my phone:
You' re SEO high jacking is quite good. I wanted to purchase tickets from AMC for the Pirates movie at Cinemark in Mesa. Your confirmation popped up, but my 2nd mistake was mistyping my email. So I called AMC and they told me I could have my ticket purchases pulled up with my credit card.
Meanwhile, your system never noticed my email was wrong. I since went to see if the misspelled email address was available and... it was so I got it.
At AMC movies my credit card did not show any purchase! Then I remembered Fandango and they said that's why they could not find it. I was with my daughters that I rarely see, and this was not going well.
I desperately looked for a way to contact Fandango. Even checked my new email on the off chance the system finally sent.
No Go. Phone was all automated promoting website and app- more time wasted and the movie was to start trailers at 4:30pm! The website wouldn't allow ne to register because it would not allow birthdays prior to 1970.
It pushes you to download the app!
So, I tried! No go! Fandango wants lots of room. Deleted 3 apps and continued.
Now, I'm begging the AMC manager to please allow my daughters in as it starts and I'm downloading the app. She couldn't allow that and told me that the movie wasn't to start till 5pm. Maybe I purchased Fandango tickets for a different theater.
What? The app slowly downloaded and I paid for new tickets at the AMC abd hoped to contact Fandango later for a refund.
Today I'm navigating the app and again not finding it intuitive, user-friendly, or easily navigated.
I want a full refund!
Got a response something about their 2 hour prior rule. You better be to your movie 2 and half hours early to see if you will have any issues. I tried sending the following to the email address they responded from... probably won't work...

Went online as a guest the night before the movie paid for 3 tickets. Next day 1/2 hr before the movie start time still no email confirmation or debit withdraw so i assumed i made mistake. Made another purchase and got my email confirmation immediately. Received an another email confirmation from Fandango while at the theaters for the 1st purchase.
The next day i did an online chat which informed me that i do not qualify for a refund since i didn't call before the movie. Huh?
I take responsibility for a few things i should have done different. Perhaps have made an account with fandango which turns out is quite easy and has all previous purchases made. However we put our trust in a site that is suppose to be of service to us and instead has robbed me of my hard earned money.
I looked them up on the Better Business Bureau and had over 500 complaints. I feel we need to all get together and make this a big deal.
