If you love the Monterey area this place is for you. Near the 17 mi drive and close to Carmel, this home offers all the amenities. It is newly renovated and spacious. We are planning to return next year!
Enjoyable we had a great time. The location was excellent. Everything was convenient. The layout of the house was simply beautiful for us and it worked fine. We had a great time. Loved it.
Overall, great experience - first time using Turo. Vehicle was as advertised, clean and well maintained, our Turo host was responsive to questions. Had a rocky start finding the vehicle, but this was because I was not looking in the app, was looking at an email that I thought was the complete instructions. Also due to the confusing layout of the Orlando airport.
Traveled to visit grandkids. The house was clean and stocked with food beyond what was expected. We would definitely recommend staying here and will do so ourselves when we return.
We had nine men gather very comfortably and enjoyably for a weekend get away. The place was incredibly clean and well-outfitted and accommodated us very well. Very nice access to the beach. Very private. Lots of local attractions close by. A perfect place. Thanks!
The unit was roomy, clean, well furnished, and well equipped. The instructions were thorough and accurate. The only bad thing was the pitcher for the blender was missing. I went out and bought a new blender for $28, and the unit owner reimbursed me promptly.
They were easy to deal with. The only problem and it was a common problem with others was the lack of communication with the actual manager of the unit. They tell you on the last automated email a week before, to email the manager a few days before for check in info but they never emailed back. The day of check in no one emailed me or called with the unit info. I did call and got through to who I think was the manager, who then text me the unit info. But up till the check in time you start to wonder if you have been scammed.
Not being able to change the door lock code was really the only major problem. We didn't feel that secure. Emailing them with problems and concerns was fast once your in the unit.
We arrived at the residence about a 1/2 hour prior to check in time. A call to the rental manager was answered promptly and we were allowed access. The door lock had been recently replaced and it would not work. Another call to the manager got us instant access thru the garage. We were traveling with our dog and having a nice fenced backyard was really nice. The house sat above Hwy 101. At times the highway noise was a little loud. It did not bother us. The property location is centrally located between Tillamok, Or and Rockaway Beach Oregon. Many beaches nearby and state parks were close. We would definitely go back.
We stayed at this beautiful condo for 8 nights starting 7/25. Such great contact and help from the owners! They went above and beyond when I dropped my Garmin Inreach onto to an unoccupied deck below.
Our most enjoyable times were on the large, riverside deck. The sounds of the river were so relaxing! NO construction noise at all, even though there was a big road project going on. Sleeping at night with all sliding doors open (they all have magnetic bug screens), and having the indoor temps drop into probably the high 60s was amazing! They do have a portable "swamp cooler" that you can use, and move it wherever you need it. We did not feel the least inclined to use it. High 80's outside during the day, but this condo stayed VERY comfortable.
The unit is nicely updated, very clean and has its own private sauna and parking.
I could keep going on...I will just say we hope to stay here again, at Eric and Stephanie's condo!
The evolve platform is dated as it doesn't allow constant adjustments. Communication with Evolve is terrible. You rarely, if ever, speak with the same support person. I have a private company that charges 15%, which does not include cleaning fee, and the company does everything. Evolve is a joke.
I had a very bad experience with them. I listed a new home that I had built up at the grand Canyon for retirement income and because I live 250 miles away I deicide to use them to manage the listing. WHAT A NIGHTMARE they turned out to be! They did about 1/4 of what they told me they do and then they stole money out of my account and never paid the taxes that they collected from my clients rental fees. This place should not be allowed to scam everyone like they do. Stay away as far as you can from this poorly managed company!
The home we rented was beautiful and just as described. It was well stocked with all the essentials to make us feel right at home. Evolve made this experience even better by making communication easy and simple. Thank you!
It is a pleasent neighborhood. The team did everything we needed right away. It was clean, had good cleaning supplies when needed. It was in a central location for places we wanted to see. We had a wonderful time there.
This cabin was perfect! It was exactly what we needed. There were 3 adults and 6 kids and there was plenty of room for the kids to watch movies, play games. The game room was a big hit! Perfect for our active group. The hot tub was my favorite part. The adults would make coffee in the morning and sit in the hot tub with the morning sun shining on us while the kiddos slept. They even made us breakfast one day! Kristin responded promptly with questions, the kitchen was well stocked with what we needed and they even had muffins and fruit for us when we arrived. Would definitely stay here again!
Upon arrival we had trouble accessing the unit. The code we were given did not work however we eventually were able to get in with a different code and some persistence.
The hot tub was not on when we arrived and was at about 65 degrees. We contacted the guest contact and asked To have someone sent out. He assured us that if we turned it on it would be ready by the next morning however it took 2 days to heat up. I insisted on having someone come and inspect the hot tub. They did not send anyone.
A couple of days later we noticed many bugs all over the floors, which my children were sleeping on. We let the guest co tact know but I went ahead and sprayed for bugs myself.
A few days later the hot tub (and pool) was moldy from stagnant water. Because no one came out to inspect it as requested no one had chlorine in the hot tub. This was then addressed by them draining the hot tub and refilling it with cold water. This then took another 2 days to heat up.
I additionally informed the guest contact about the water being awfully smelly. The shower specifically smelled like moldy water. The owner inspected the water from the outside saying he didn't notice anything. I let them know that they could have someone enter the unit to inspect the shower as it was very bad. They said someone would inspect it but I never heard anything further. The water still smells and was never addressed.
I'm extremely disappointed in the unit. It seems as though no one really cares and the guest contact didn't seem to be bothered. Evolve was also not very helpful in the matter. The unit is certainly not as pictured, especially the backyard.
This house was extremely nice, clean and even had Christmas decorations throughout. We want to return when we don't have a game to go to so we can fully enjoy the property.
We loved the house that we have stayed in several times before. The problem is that the service fees have become excessive; since Evolve became associated with VRBO the personal service has been reduced and the fees continue to grow, to the point it is becoming too expensive to use the service.

The home was lovely, just as described. There was ample space for me, my three children and two spouses, two young grandsons and two pups. The little boys especially enjoyed the yoga space on the top floor. The house was tastefully redecorated and updated, maintaining its original character while providing modern amenities. The beds were comfortable; the upstairs jacuzzi shower a delight and topic of conversation; and the neighborhood quiet. It was in close proximity to a number of area attractions. It was the perfect place for a family getaway!
Wonderful experience! Answered our questions right away. Check in was easy and the house was lovely! Definitely would stay again.
Three friends and I stayed, and the rental worked out great. The host fee is a bit high for a weekend stay. Space was clean, hot water was good, beds were comfortable. Kitchen was spacious; stove takes a while to get to temperature, and like many rentals it's good to bring your own equipment to fill in gaps.
Answer: Avoid Evolve it will be a major mistake listing your property with them. The client support is all flash with no substance. The owner protection insurance is a scam! The listing description was never correct, my Financial lost was over $6000 due to guest damages that were supposedly covered. The corporate infrastructure is amateurish and segmented without leadership.
