Products fine, it's their customer service that is abysmal, and it looks as if it's part of their operational strategy. They just don't care about your problem, and they don't provide a mechanism to fix it. Buy Everlane products at your own risk.
And I had to pay $6 plus postage to mail it back to them! I ordered gifts for my daughter for Christmas, spent $400 and got used clothing shipped to me that I have to pay the send back. Outrageous! The $10 they donated to charity they should spend on ensuring customer satisfaction. What good is a transparent business model if the customer pays $110 for a washable silk tie cuff blouse that is stained, smells of body odor and is wrinkled like someone pulled it out of a laundry hamper? DONT EVER SHOP HERE. I never will again.
I ordered the one thing I could actually use right now-sneakers. They held a site wide 25% off sale,, then emailed customers that "due to covid-19" shipping would be delayed up to 15 days for items purchased during the sale, but full price items would ship out immediately. Not OK. That's alot of consumer money they are earning interest on whole they obviously have the means to shop out full price items.
I have loved everything I have purchased so far: 2 pairs of work pants, 2 jeans, 1 jean jacket, 1 cashmere sweater, 1 silk shirt, 1 tote bag. The quality is great! You do have to look at the user reviews for each product to see how it would fit, though. I bought a size 8 in one pair of jeans and they fit nicely. I bought an 8 in the other and I couldn't even start zippering them. The return process isn't easy, but I think they've tried to make it easier. But overall, I love their business model and the timeless pieces I have gotten from them.
One thing I am confused about is the reviews on their own site. I want to write reviews, but I have no idea how. I purchased my first few items a few months ago, so I would've expected to get an email by now inviting me to write a review.
Hope they open a location in Chicago, because it would be nice to try items on before purchasing.
I understand that since we are in this COVID 19 pandemic that things may be delayed. My return started before the whole country essentially shut down. I have waited patiently for 2 weeks to have them credit my account but nothing has been done and it has been 3 weeks. I have emailed 3 times and no one has gotten back to me. It is not even worth it when you have no means of contacting anyone. This is the worst company ever even with its "ethical" means of production. Will not be purchasing from them ever again. It is not worth it.
Ordered a black jumpsuit that was pictured with a belt. It arrived with all of the belt loops and NO belt. When I emailed to request that they mail me a replacement belt, they offered me a $20.00 site credit instead. I turned it down since I will never shop with them again.
Placed a simple order for two t shirts to take on a trip. Very clearly it was stated the delivery would be 4-10 business days. Several days after ordering a shipping notification email comes with estimated delivery well beyond the 4-10 business days (17 business days, in fact). Yes, its true it is being shipped to Hawaii, but the 4-10 business days was the estimate given AFTER the address was put in. When I inquired about this I was sent a link to their Alaska/Hawaii shipping policy. What should happen is the correct estimated shipping should be given during the ordering process once the delivery address is put in. Update your software because I would not have ordered anything that would take 2-4 weeks to arrive (the estimated shipping to Hawaii per their website). No other company takes 2-4 weeks to ship something to Hawaii. I ordered from Prana the same day I placed this order with Everlane (3 days ago) and I received the Prana order TODAY. Ridiculous and archaic shipping practices.
Offered free two day shipping. More like 7-day. They tell me 'it is stated in the FAQ section.' Who the hell goes to the FAQ section if you don't have a question? In today's world, if you say 2 day shipping, it better be received in 2 days!
I ordered a couple of pairs of pants - too small, but the quality looked good. So I requested to return and exchange. To my surprise they make this very complicated - I have to return the package (at my expense!) and then start a new order over!
Then they send me an email that the next order (replacement pants next size up) would be marked the wrong size, but they are really the larger size.
Wrong! When I got the new pants, the packaging was sloppy, and the pants fit exactly the same as what I returned.
They are a mess!
I purchased two white t's and a pair of boyfriend denims. First, the material on the T's is practically see-through. I purchased a small and a medium just to be sure. After washing the small would fit only a child and the medium barely fits me (5'3 - 115 lbs). Never again. Also purchased the boyfriend jeans - they're "funky" is the only way to describe them. Don't fit well at all and now I find out I have to pay a restocking fee! I would NEVER purchase from Everlane again and would NEVER recommend anyway to buy from them.
So... I hesitated and waited quite some time before I placed my order for this tote I really really really wanted this tote and waited for a long time because of the price but I am a tote person and loved it when I first saw it online. I was really impressed with the packaging and somewhat disappointed with how long it took to get here so when I got it I was really excited about opening it and impressed with the covering protective bag that came with the tote. However, when I unpackaged it this is what I noticed first the scratches on the inside of the tote. Maybe not a big deal for some but for the price I would have expected Perfection all over.

Customer information
I purchased The Modern Loafer in red, the shoes came in really worn quality, scratched, the treads where coming out. It was unpleasant surprise, and I was quite unhappy with the state of shoes.
I e-mailed customer service about the state of shoes, made some photos of them, they respond quickly and where professional in dealing whit the problem.
I want to say big thank you to Sam for the customer service team about welcoming attitude and solving the problem.
I brought this pink cashmere but I got a pink t-$#*! with that pink cashmere tag on it! Which is very funny? I contacted their customer service and they told me to ship that t-shirt back and they returned a token to me, not cash. So, I went to the post the next day and shipped back the stupid t-shirt, where they asked me to buy a tap to better wrap the box.
Though their products are "ok", affordable and we love the thought of "sourcing responsibly" for manufacturing of our clothing and it's origins and overall "DNA", the quality, we noticed has suffered a bit in the last year or so. Sizings have been off by margins, color in fabrics have seemed to cheapen out and lasting quality has not been a primer in general. Customer service is on point though and has always been truly a pleasure to deal with. It's hit and miss with the quality of what you are getting. T shirts? (perhaps a good deal and ok on quality a step above Target and quite a few notches below say, AG Jeans t shirts) Jackets and such? (a gamble, we'd be careful with larger purchases such as these and inspect accordingly and not to remove tags as fitting, we found are rather dicy especially with the men's sizings)
I finally received an email from Everlane saying that they cancelled the transaction and that the money should fall back. I called the bank and they suggested to file an application challenging the transaction so I did. Two weeks after that I received the transfer. Happy end!
Today is the 31st of May and I haven't heard from Everlane except for promotional emails that they send me every other day. No money, no credit, no response. I strongly feel that this kind of "malpractice" shouldn't stay unnown to general public.
The shoes are stiff and I cannot break them in. I reached out to the company and was told that I cannot return them because of strict policies. Sounds great, huh? I was also advised to consign them if I did not like them. Really? I wouldn't wish them on anyone.
I do not recommend their leather loafer, they are not sized correctly and the sole is hard and kills your feet.
I've had my eye on a pair of Everlane shoes for awhile. Now that I try to place an order for them (after having numerous Everlane ads targeted in my direction), it seems the Everlane cannot process the order! Not through PayPal or through my Visa Card. Each time I attempt to order, I get a message that Everlane is unable to process the order and to try another payment method. Each time I try a different payment method, I get the same Everlane system response. I emailed Everlane but I guess it takes a few days before you can expect a response. There's not a Customer Service Phone for them. I guess our relationship is over before it ever even started. Neverlane!
I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered. Ordered over a month ago (24 July 20) and still haven't received my order. Shipped 10 days after the already delayed shipping date. Customer service eventually responded and all they do is apologise. Who knows when it will arrive in Australia as currently languishing in the USA. Who knows what the product will be like but really don't care anymore. First and last time I will buy off Everlane.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.
I've had cognitive dissonance with Everlane for a while. I'm finally done drinking the cool aid. I know 100% cotton shrinks. And Everlane's ordinary t shirts shrink less and wear out nice and soft. But their recycled cotton (though I love how it feels vintage) SHRINKS. I am 5'10", 140 lbs, a women's size 4 or 6, and I have been buying LARGE. That is ridiculous! I bought the men's air tee for an oversized one, XL which is their largest, and it is barely oversized. And definitely short. Like a men's crop top. If you want your everlane clothes to stay their current size, do NOT tumble dry even low, and better hope you're a petite human if you want to buy everlane to begin with. What are they thinking? The photo I attached is of a model wearing "small," but in real life it's how the L looks on a woman who is a size 4/6.
Although I do still like their seamless underwear which isn't flimsy and doesn't ride up, and is lasting well, and their leather slide sandals are so comfortable, I've worn them every day since I bought them. I'll give them that.
They don't invite me to write reviews for products I've purchased so... maybe they know it's been a mixed bag. Not very transparent if you ask me.
Answer: Did you receive products you didn't order, or are you looking for more information on products to order?
Answer: Their customer service is non existent. I am having same problem as you without resolve. I've given up. I hope you are able to resolve your issue. I've purchased from Everlane before -- and they were great. BUT I had no problems... I think the issues arise when something isn't right with the order or if the merchandise doesn't fit.
