So you have read the title and now expect me to say something negative BUT I dont expect 5 star reviews in our restaurant unless we do the job properly and EposNow have certainly done that.

Absolutely first class from all 3 employees and Coral gets the special mention for being clever enough to get all the essential till training over to a halfwit like me!... more phone calls will be needed no doubt as she doesnt really expect me to take it all in and remember (or does she?).
A great rapport with all you guys and you all know your stuff and talk at the right level.
I will recommend you whenever possible.

I open a new business and bought eponow. When we spoke to the salesman Herry we told him it's a grocery store and if there system is good for a grocery store. Obviously he said yes. When we got the system we notice it was not for a grocery store it's good for a restaurant business. So we complained and what happened nothing. They ignore us all the time. We send them email and try to call them but nobody bothers to response. We call Herry 100 times but he never picked up. After 1 month a Chris the manager called us. I told him we dont want the system anymore and we want to cancel the contract. Chris answer was a shock for me. He told me straight up we signed a contract with eposnow and it's our own fault why we did it. I don't know what to do now. I am trying to reach them again but they don't answer. Al Noor Supermarket

Asked for help setting up the printer, and was fast and efficient in doing this. Great service. Did it using the remote access feature so I didn't have to wait on the phone in a que. Excellent.

I was first in contact with Epos Now in 2013, and really liked their software and got on well with the sales guy. However I was convinced by a competitor to go with them because they were cheaper by £250.
That was a catastrophic mistake that's ended up costing me and my staff hours and hours of pain an agony using out-dated software and with hardware problems. When our 3 year contracted ended with that company I rushed to get back in contact with Epos Now.
We've now had the new Epos Now system for three months and it is like light and day. The software is modern and reliable. The biggest benefit to me is that I can access it remotely from my phone to view sales figures. I get an emailed dashboard every day with my sales and refund figures for the day so even when I'm out of the office I don't have to chase up my managers to find out takings. My admin time has been reduced and we've got a better view of our profitability each week.
The biggest change has been the customer service. For a start Epos Now actually have a UK call centre so you don't feel like you're constantly hitting language barriers, and secondly they actually pick up the phone.
It's been a really great move, and I wish we'd gone with them originally three years ago.

Each spray there is something which does not work, when we ring up we spend 30 mins or more waiting for support, they may fix the problem but then cause another which requires another phone call. If they paid me by the hour for each time I rang I would be a millionaire.
They don't listen to you, they have no idea of the problem which is caused by their system not working, being told that an update in a few days will solve the problem but in reality causes yet again another phone call
The new system which is there updated version I would not have bought had I seen it as it is not for a toy shop it is designed for a coffee shop etc. The colouring is a disaster causing myself problems due to my sight issues at the moment.
Being told that we can stay on the old system but we shall be unsupported is bad customer service and not taking into account the visual problem.
I dread using the system
I dead ringing up as it results in me getting upset and them totally not bothered, spending valuable time talking to people who don't care
It makes me cross that we have to pay each month for a service which is not working and not being listened to.
I am seriously going to talk to my solicitor about the situation

I WISH I COULD GIVE 0 STARS! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! After 3 weeks of dealing with incompetence I was sent a new printer WITHOUT the cords! Seriously?!?!?! How dumb are you!? And when I want to speak to a manager, they tell me they are too busy with other calls-so there's that many unhappy people that I have to wait in line to speak with someone in charge? That's not a good sign. Just started with them and SERIOUSLY UNHAPPY!. Going to be posting negative reviews everywhere i can!

We were told and sold that this is the best system for our bust pub/restaurant business and was second to none... this can only be a most wanted statement in any business if the people behind the core are on top of their game and unfortunately (Jacyn Heavens) this is not the case in my/our most recent experience.
Before we even went live we have pulled out of this relationship with EPOS Now: I'm sure there are many good things with this product but the sales/service model behind it has truly let it/ourselves down to our most recent business purchase experience and would not want any part of a relationship with what we in a short period of three weeks have been put through and with a wasteful amount of promises and time consumed.
In business we must all be willing to listen and learn to move forward for the customers we serve and if not the business will be eventually slide to a halt or hesitation in customer confidence.
A very unhappy and potential long lasting customer who is happy to walk away from EPOS Now.
Had to phone regarding no connection with till. The problem was resolved very quickly and he was very polite and talked me through every stage excellent.

Heavily Flawed by the Product Upload system (or lack of one)

The system is let down by its inability to handle uploading/exporting products etc from spreadsheets, you really need to consider this function, it took an age to upload our products one by one, and now since we had a price increase from our suppliers i have to adjust all the prices one by one! So old hat, it took around 12 hours to upload all our products and that's for a small hairdressers!
They will upload products for you or course - For £300 which will not be mentioned pre-sale!
If i could export to spreadsheet and adjust the prices etc en-masse then re upload to the server that would be so much better, a function adopted by pretty much any other system of this type by the way, I have a theory this system is not adopted as they want the £300 from you to upload your products for you, not acceptable.
The other let down is the booking function, not very well designed or user friendly, we have had to adopt a separate system for this which is unfortunate.
I also submitted 2 tickets to customer support, neither of which were answered, which you don't expect when you are being charged £360 a year for premium support.
All in all this company could be great but is let down by being greedy and focusing more on sales/squeezing the last penny out of customers rather than looking after its current clients.

Great system. Only problem is i wanted to integrate with shopify and it doesnt look like it can do that yet.
The back office is suburb and the service has been excellent.
Great system, easy to programme and manage without having to call for support. Great solution for a small business like ours. And big enough to cope with future growth, too.
Avoid this company at all costs.
The sales guys will tell you anything just to make the sale. We were told specific functionality that the system could do and upon signing up and trying to use that functionality in our training, we were told it couldn't do that functionality!
The training was awful as well. We were given a junior who had been there 2 weeks who put us on hold after every question as couldn't answer any of them.
We have requested a refund for the kit and the system (cost almost £3,000) but they refuse to authorise the return.
They say they are looking into matters when I speak to them on the phone and then don't hear back from them for days or weeks. Then when I do call them again myself, they seem to have no recollection of what they said they were going to do to look into it. Just getting stone walled!
So we are now stuck with 2 till systems which cost us almost 3k (which are still in their boxes and never been used) and not being allowed to send them back (can't see why though as they could just resell the computers as still untouched in their boxes).
We're now having to seek legal advice which is going to cost us and eposnow even more money and probably end up in court.
Beats me why they won't just accept the return and let us both move on.

The customer services consultant, Tim, was very knowledgable, helpful and friendly. And was happy to answer all my questions I had and suggest ways I could do things.
I purchased an eposnow POS system for my rental equipment company based on the sales person's presentation and how he said it was great for our business. 2 months later, the system is sitting on a desk and we do not use it because it is not programmed to work in taking partial payments in advance and if it is capable, we wouldnt know about it because you have to hold for atleast 30 minutes to get a hold of someone on their customer service line that we also pay an additional 39 dollars a month for each month. I was hung up by a tech support person by the name of Alex and they have our number but he never called me back so I don't think it was an accident. I feel he didn't want to help and thought I was a lot of "extra work" since I am not as Tech savvy. I have yet to hear back from the company. After investing over $2000 dollars in this "EPOSNOW" system, the company just shut us down, They are fast to call you if they think you want another system. Thumbs down, do not trust this company! They promise you the moon to sell the system but stinks when it comes to customer service.

I would not use this company ever again.
Before you consider an install just trying getting hold of the support team either by phone or live chat. Bear in mind you will need them when something has gone wrong - like you can't take payments or your till has gone down. They are truly dreadful to deal with. They state the issues in getting hold of there support team was due to an issue nationwide problem - I can assure you that I have experienced this every time I've tried getting hold of support. Wait times of over 45 mins is not uncommon.
Update- I spoke with one of their support yesterday * who I must say was very helpful and got the card machines up and running. However I must point out this took well over 2 and a half hours over the phone. Customer services got in touch and I simply asked if there was any gesture of goodwill available as I've spent hours on hold to support and hours setting up there system. The reply was to blame a network issue (I opted for a sim card machine so this wouldn't happen, turns out EPOS NOW hadn't activated the sim) they then simply copy and pasted their T and C's to say they weren't liable. EPOS NOW are fully aware that we are not for profit organization and my personal time is given up on a voluntary basis. I will not be renewing the contract and I wish I had stuck to a simple till system.
