The company has garnered a mixed reputation, with notable strengths in the ease of ordering and timely delivery of floral arrangements, often praised for their quality and customer service responsiveness. However, significant concerns arise regarding unauthorized obituaries, which many customers find unethical and misleading, leading to confusion among grieving families. Additionally, issues with product quality, including discrepancies between ordered and delivered items, have been reported. Overall, while some customers appreciate the service, the company's practices surrounding obituaries and inconsistent product fulfillment have led to widespread dissatisfaction.

Very easy cause all the information for services was there i wanted to order muliple plants but had to do that separately. I found out after the services; i wanted 2 peace lily plants one for each of my nephews. Found out one was delivered before services and the other one was delivered when people were leaving the church and it wasnt a peacelily it was a different plant which is not what i ordered,

I was disappointed that the flower dish i ordered was much smaller than the picture or what i expected. It was nice but very small.
Easy and effective. Very easy to order the products.
The products are of good quality.
The flower arrangement was very small for the price. I spent $200.00 and it looked like a $75.00 arrangement.
I was trying to sent white sympathy flowers with blue accent flowers, but the photo I got from the recipient showed pinks and purples- not white at all. I was very disappointed this was not at all like what I was trying to purchase
Great ordered with ease. Although the funeral was postponed twice because of the ice storm. You made sure the family received the flowers. Thank you
This is an excellent service to make sure your family members are remembered. It is easy to use and I highly recommend it to everyone.
The shopping process is fast and easy. The delivery was made the next day and the customer service is great.
Service was easy to use and delivery was on time. The flowers were beautiful and the family was happy with them.
The flowers were beautiful. Not having to worry about getting a florist in the area was so welcomed. The florist was so caring and accommodating. The flowers were delivered on time for a 10:00 service even though I ordered the night before.
Quick and easy, plus my order was beautifully arranged
Pretty easy but o don't like surveys they take up my time

Thankful for this service and hopefully it some comfort for the family!
This website stole my grandmother's obituary, made changes to the information, falsifying it, stating all sorts of false info about our family. Reading these reviews I realize it is a scam but it is offensive and upsetting to our family and I fear others will be scammed into making purchases through this fake obituary website. PLEASE REMOVE IMMEDIATELY. And before the "representative" snaps back with some nonsense let it be on record that I have sent two requests through their website for the obituary to be removed and have bit received a response.
Hi Bettina,
You sent us a removal request yesterday, January 10th at 6:00p.m. The obituary was removed this morning, January 11th at 8:45a.m. When we receive requests and emails after our business hours, they are replied to the next day. We sincerely apologize for any misinformation. Echovita is not a fake obituary website, nor do we scam people. Information that is publicly available cannot be stolen. We understand that with new concepts and creations comes scrutiny, and that even when you try to do something good and positive, not everyone will see it that way, nor take the time to ask questions and get a better understanding of what we do and why we do it. We are truly sorry for your loss, and wish you the best.
You can act under the guise of 'public information' all you want, but frankly when you get incorrect information about peoples loved ones deaths and cause a tizzy of confusion in the worst possible instance, you very quickly become a problem and join the ranks among the lowest in the world. You need to realign your companies values or just pack it in. There's nothing inherently wrong about reiterating public information but during sensitive times and evidently trying ones you either get the facts straight or don't bother at all. I appealed to remove the obituary that you posted inaccurately and I had to inform numerous people about your incorrect dates and your bad obituary that would be comical in any other circumstance. Its almost as if this sites main goal is to disrespect the dead with the small recourse of wilted flowers. If this isn't the case, then I assume your mission statement was to cause more annoyance to families. Oh and one more thing, 'legality' does not equal some moral mission to inform the public, I'm pretty sure I can inform the public via the obituary I chose to display. Pony-up and admit your site is a cash grab that would sell out their own mothers for 30 pieces of silver.
Answer: Candles, messages, and memories left on Echovita only appear on the obituary page you left it on Echovita. They do not simultaneously appear on the funeral home's website. No where on Echovita does it say candles, messages, or memories left on our website appear on the funeral home's website. You'd have to visit the funeral home's website yourself and leave whatever you'd like there. Thank you. In the future, you may contact us directly via our contact us section.
Answer: The eternity candle you purchased is a virtual candle that remains lit on the obituary page on our website. The family is not directly notified, but your message and candle are posted publicly on the obituary page, so anyone who visits the page will be able to see it.
Answer: Hi James, you may call our partner, Blooms Today directly to inquire about your order at 1-800-522-8707. This phone number is also stated on our website on the flower selection and checkout pages.
Hi Stephanie D.
I'm sorry about the experience you had. The local florist may have had a last minute issue with the flowers you selected, so they made adjustments in order to deliver a flower arrangement to the service. When I looked up your order number, I saw that a partial refund in the amount of $45 USD was processed on January 25th. It can take up to 7 business days for the refund to be returned to you.
