Wow. In a day and age that you can buy a mattress and use it for months to see if you like it, this company will not let you try their bag and return it if you aren't happy with the product. I purchased the TLS Mother Lode Weekender Convertible backpack and used it for a weekend trip, where I realized I hated it. Despite being a backpack, it's too big for a carry-on. It literally doesn't fit in the overhead compartment of an airplane and I had to check it. It's not even remotely water resistant, as it was in the rain for a very short period of time and all my clothes were wet. When I tried to ask about returning it after my trip, within the 30-day window, they let me know that it must have all the tags on it and can't be accepted by the warehouse if used. Apparently, a quality product and customer service don't rank high on this company's list of things that are in their core values.
I bought a bag for my wife on here. It was exactly what she wanted and what I ordered. The only thing I disliked about the site was that I found it very hard to just simply browse the site to see what the offered. There was so much to go through. Definitely will not knock off a star for that though. I'd order from them again.
Received the wrong item three times. They were aware of the issue and took no steps to insure I was sent the correct item. The worst company I've ever dealt with on the internet! Total incompetence from the shipping dept. to customer service.
I ordered a bag. It lasted one trip only, one wheel got damaged. I was in Malaysia, with no way to return it within 60 days. Ebags told me to approach the manufacturer. After some unhappy emails, they gave me a refund of ten, I bought the bag for thirty. It was not hardy. Most unhappy.
Holy cow. I returned an item and couldn't find anything I wanted so I asked for my money back. No, they won't give my money back unless I buy something and, by the way, your credit expires. That's right. YOUR money expires after a period of time and they just keep it. This may be the most unethical garbage I've dealt with in a long time. Absolutely beware purchasing anything from these clowns.
I ordered blue, received purple. Contact them to exchange, but they said I'd have to return and re-order. And the return credit could take 2 billing cycles to show on my card. They were out of blue, so I couldn't re-order anyway. So I still returned that purple, then they charged me for shipping, unless it was their fault they said. What? Wrong color isn't there fault. I'd ordered "blue" to match something, not that "purple" stuff they sent.
You are better off buying from a store that has a return policy that does not limit u to 30 days. I got stuck with a unused Tumi bag that was supposed to hold a 13 inch computer and did not and they would not switch it to a more expensive backpack.

The customer service keeps saying my ticket is under investigation and at the end I spent my money and never got the product! Never again!
They say they have a lifetime guarantee, but it's been a month since I submitted one and they have never even responded to tell me they would or wouldn't honor it. Also they only ship UPS which is the worst shipping service available.
This company is a joke, i waited eleven days for a bag, called UPS and found that the item is not in their hands yet. No email from e bags no call nothing. Canceled the order and guess what, they can't give a confirmation number on the cancellation. To bad for you, guess they can give you man order number and take your money, but that's it. Do NOT buy from them.
I ordered a bag and it was supposed to be delivered yesterday. Today I get the shipment with the other item but no bag. They have no idea where it is! They have to request status from warehouse and that will take 1-2 days to get a status! I cancelled the order because I can't have it arriving a week late when I am not home. Ordered replacement from Amazon and paid more. Tried to return the other item (which I only ordered to get free shipping) but they want a $4.95 restocking fee.
I used ebags.com for the first time, when ordering my sister's birthday present. I was a little leery to try the site out, but after seeing how detailed their descriptions were, I decided to try it. I received the package in the time they stated, and it was exactly how they described. Needless to say, my sister LOVED her bag, and now uses it in place of the bag that she was attached to. It was a great experience, and I will use them again. The only downside, is that they don't have as big of a selection as I would like.
Awful service. I ordered Tumi bags. The website popped up an offer asking me if I wanted FREE monogramming. I chose the selection, spent a bit of time deciding how and what I wanted and ordered.
The bags showed up with blank patches and when I contacted customer service, their response, multiple times was "not all bags can be monogrammed".
The crazy thing is that I would not have even thought about monogramming at the time if their website had not offered it on BOTH of these pieces.
I took the luggage to the Tumi store and had them monogrammed. Customer service was poor and they offered nothing for the inconvenience and simply held to their "not all bags can be monogrammed" response rather than apologizing specifically for their offer that did not apply.
I will not be ordering from eBags again.
I have ordered two times from this site and had a great experience both times. They are a little expensive unless they are running a promotion. Many times they offer promos ranging from 20%-30% off and free shipping. Wait for the sale if you can.
The worst customer service next to Chinese customer service. Never answer the phone, online account can't track your purchases or show a current order, worthless. A VERY poorly managed operation.
Returned set of packing cubes few months ago, I was charged to return item, a re-stocking fee and a credit to use for future purchase. Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, traveling was not possible this summer subsequently I did not purchase travel items. I was not informed my credit amount would expire after so many months, when I called to request a extended date to use this credit I was told NO they would not do this. This is basically stealing a customer's money as I received nothing for returning the cubes. Will not order from this company again.
This site has some great products. They have all different kinds of bags like handbags, messenger bags, and luggage. I personally have not had a problem with their customer service. I have been very happy with the bags I have bought from this site.
Have been purchasing handbags from this company for years and have always been satisfied with their service. Sometimes their prices are a little higher, but most of the time their prices are very good.
Purchased the Samsonite underseater from Ebags and found that this piece was way too large for the underseater space on my Alaska flight. The next day I called to return the luggage and they rejected the return because now it was a used item. The company expected the customer to research the aircraft luggage specifications before use. Calling the Samsonite underseater is false advertising because the only space it would fit would be first class section. This company does not know the meaning of customer satisfaction! I would highly advise others not to support Ebags.
Ebags suitcase is great! TLS Mother Lode Mini 21" Wheeled is our model and we love the different compartments. Easy to carry and nice design! We used for a month trip two people combining with a backpack. We can carry all the clothes and separate dirty clothes for laundry. We can also keep cables and computer for our online job. Toilettries can also keep in different compartment since there are many of them. The suitcase is perfect for short trips even for two people. Hopefully trying more products of ebags!
