Horrible service

Terrible communication at horrifically expensive prices. The product comes in 2 pound bags and they charge 55 dollars per pound. Their website is beyond unhelpful. Would never recommend.

Dog Lovers Be Aware
August 24, 2021

Consumer beware, be careful when you sign up to try this dog food. You will get on the hook for $80+ dollars a month for 3lbs of food. (your dogs food will become much more expensive than yours per pound, if you really love your pet, just buy them steak at $7 lb or blue berries at $4 etc.) Companies, that truly believe in their products, do not need to force their clients to buy, their clients will do it willingly.

I gave them a 2 star because the dog liked the food. Of course he likes turkey, beef, salmon, sweet potatoes, egg, peas, etc, same food we eat, though our real food is much cheaper.

Suggestion, if you care about pets, for real, make a food that real people (not just Beverly Hill people) can and should responsibly afford. Then, those people will happily buy that food every month on their own, without needing to be coerced.

Won't ship to USPS in US Virgin Islands
August 30, 2022

Ships to Puerto Rico, British Virgin Islands, and 180 foreign countries. But not USVI. Company says there's a restriction. I checked with USPS. There isn't. Company response is that all they could do was report it to corporate.

Refused to cancel order
December 1, 2020

To start with, the ad doesn't tell you how big a serving size is. After I ordered I emailed customer service, for the extremely steep price, I was concerned about this. It turns out, if you have a medium sized dog, it's going to cost you well over $300/month to feed this regularly; and that's the promotion price. I asked them to cancel my order & they refused to do it. Now I'm going to have to pay the return shipping to get my refund back. The ad also says it is manufactured in small batches in Canada, but the reply email I got said be wise of the quantity they produce, they have to use different manufacturers. Kind of hard to have quality control with multiple manufacturers. There are so many other quality, raw dog foods to choose from gat won't make me have to get a second job to afford to buy it. Do your research; don't just buy it because Oprah used it.

Grateful

Chance is a 10 year old mixed Yorkie and is loving his new food. I am gradually adding this food to his old food. I just wish I could buy it in Canada as the cost of bringing it in from the States is very high. I have ordered him enough to last for awhile, but once that is done I do not know if I can keep ordering it. I also enjoy all the tips I receive from Dr Marty. Thanks again!

Natures blend freeze dried food

All though my dogs love this food I think it is way too expensive, I will buy it til I can no longer afford to. This food has everything you'd want to feed your best friend, the list of ingredients is impressive

Scam!
November 22, 2022

I purchased this dog food for my new rescue pup after watching a video. Wanted nothing but the best for my new angel. Was shocked at how expensive it is, but anything for my pup, right? It took a long time to get to me (after traveling to multiple cities). When I opened the package, I was horrified at the smell (which I can only describe as spoiled meat). I gave the puppers one bite. She was not pleased. But, according to the video and included information, I was encouraged to keep trying. Last night, I mixed about ten of the nuggets with her regular kibble. This morning she started vomiting. When I contacted the company, I was told I could return it, but at my own cost. Was also offered 40% off if I decided to keep it. What kind of business model is this? And why did this make my dog sick? I can only assume that this is a very expensive scam, and one that will not only cost customers lots of money, but potentially harm the beings we care most about. Buyer beware!

I mix it half and half with a good quality grain free dog food, because I can't afford it otherwise. My dog loves it. I have not noticed any of the behavior differences I was hoping for, but that doesn't surprise me. This dog loves raw fruits and vegetables, so the ingredient list is great. I have just started getting automatic shipments. I certainly hope I don't have the same problems these other reviewers have had canceling orders. There needs to be more flexibility in the number and frequency of bags in each order. 3 isn't enough and 6 is too many.

Don't buy
August 11, 2022

I paid $83.00 for 3 bags of food. Dog would not eat rhe food. Returned all 3 bags and was told I would receive only 40% back instead of the full price when you are guaranteed a full refund. Got ripped off.

If your dog has a sensitive stomach, I DO NOT recommend this product. My dog is about 15 but in good health. I started out just giving 1/2 of the chew about 2x/week. He really liked them! Because he was doing OK on that schedule and the package recommends "1 daily", 5 days ago I gave him 1/2 two days in a row. Initially, he seemed OK but did not poop the next day. Withheld food for approx 16 hrs, then gave him only cooked chicken and rice. He seemed OK and I resumed feeding his regular food the next morning. Within an hour or so, he vomited it up. Since then, he has been vomiting, only pooped once and it was diarrhea. Keeps going out and trying to poop but can't. Vomiting yellow bile. A mess! Nothing changed in his diet or in our life so I'm believing it is perhaps some of the probiotic ingredients in the chews? This does not mean to say your dog would experience the same outcome. I''m writing this to advise: just use caution!

I am so disappointed with customer service bc they were charging me twice for the food. Please don't buy Dr Martys food from their site bc it's misleading. Additionally, I called twice to cancel and now I have 36 bags of food that my dog won't eat. They didn't apologize and didn't care or assist me personally on this matter. All they cared about was charging me twice and blaming me for having two subscriptions. I beg you to double check bc they didn't bother to ask me and blamed me for their negligence. Unbelievable! Why would I order twice the amount for one dog. I hope that Dr Marty reads the reviews bc I got poor service from the representative I spoke to when I inquired about both subscriptions. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT WAS MORE CONCERNED ABOUT POINTING THE FINGER AT ME INSTEAD OF BEING HELPFUL AND KEPT INTERRUPTING ME WHEN I WAS SPEAKING TO HIM. HE WAS EXTREMELY RUDE.

Miracle!
April 22, 2023

My 14 yr.old Coton was dying. Incessant Loud Honking Cough, all day/night. No longer could use doggy door, peeing in her bed. Sad. I finally watched this tortuously long video, bought 1 mo. Of food and it's a miracle. No more meds, cough. I can't believe my own eyes. It can't be a coincidence.
I'm now on the monthly plan. Thank you. She has her life back! She's still stiff in the morning but so am I. Thank you!

Happy dog

My 8 yo Lab/Pit Mix loves Dr. Marty's Nature Blend raw food. I mix it half and half with kibble after soaking the freeze dried product for several minutes. In the past he has been a very fussy eater but not anymore. He gobbles it down each time and has done it consistently since we started 6 weeks ago. No problem with digestion at all and he is definitely more active and playful.

I give my dogs Dr Marty's as a topper. Their coats filled in and are shiny. They have more energy and play like pups again. Mixing in with warm water and then the rest of their food makes sure they eat it all up. No upset stomachs.

Our dog, Minnie is 15 years, with hip dysplasia and has had various other issues related to pharmaceutical interventions. She began refusing all medication as she was becoming lethargic. We agreed to let her live without medication, fed organic dog food and wild meats and agreed to see how it would go. She began to become somewhat more active even with her sore hips. Then, we started feeding Dr. Marty's diet. Wow, she loved it on first taste and gobbles it. (She would eat it much more if we let her). Her energy has continued to increase and she never misses her daily walk, climbing our bluff, jumping logs. Her sleep and wake patterns are improved as is her cough. This food is exactly what is Dr. Marty says. My wish is that more pet owners could afford it and understand the benefits of healthy food.

Really good food
December 15, 2022

After having no success feeding (they hated everything and were lethargic and bloated) our dogs really high quality kibble ($75-$100/bag) I decided to go with this product. It's excellent - the dogs LOVE it and there is marked improvement to their energy and digestion. It is however, significantly more expensive than any of the other kibble I have ever purchased (easily triple the cost). Don't know how we're going to afford it in the long run but can't see how to go off of it with the huge improvement. Also - big beef - each bag is just 16 ounces so there is a LOT of plastic waste. With our two larger dogs we go through a bag every 21/2 - 3 days. Why can't it be offered in larger bags to reduce waste and go farther to protect the environment?

Good, healthy alternative!

Dr. Marty Nature's Blend arrived promptly. The food is a soft nugget. I use it as a mix with a dry, grain free, preservative free kibble. Both my girls enjoy it and had no problem digestive-wise when added to their diet. It is expensive but I love the ingredient list! We're almost through our first 3 bags and getting ready to reorder.

Luis and Tipsy wagging in on Dr. Marty's Nature's Blend raw diet kibble, it's the best thing since man invented dog treats. We can't get enough! Whole body stomping, it's 4 paws up. If we could just get Dog Mom to feed us more often, drooling in Curacao for Dr. Marty's.

Happy Dogs

My dogs love Nature's Blend, they are eating better then before. Half the time I had to find something to add to their dry food. But that would only last for a little while, and then one of them would be fussy again. With Nature's Blend I don't have that problem. They both love it and nine times out of ten the bowl is licked clean. Thank you so much for showing me how good it is for my big barbies

Amazing

I was hesitant about buying dr Marty's dog food. I thought it was another fish oil sales pitch but the results were AMAZING. My mini pen was lazy,smelt bad,had bad breath and just nibbled on his food. Just 2 days and he don't stink,his breath doesn't smell,he is very active and when I put his food in a bowl he jumps and barks for me to give him his food. I am so happy he is doing so well. Thank you Dr Marty. Highly recommend.
