So I bought Yujin thinking it would come with hair, only to find your selling that extra. The pictures are extremely misleading, and if you could be more forthcoming, with what is and is not included that would be great thank you.
Purchasing was easy, though I could see it being very expensive.
I ordered and was charged for Victoria 9 Bundle but it doesn't show up anywhere (except my Visa card). Trying to figure out how to download it I wound up paying for it again! I still cannot figure out how to download it. It does not show up in my DAZ Central or my Install Manager. Please help!
I like it. With all the free stuff and all the great stuff on Daz's site it's really fun to play with and it's addicting and as a old blender fan and XPS fan you can endlessly bring models into daz and render them. I have made some amazing pictures and i'm really just getting started yet.
One big thing i think the store would benefit from is saying when a sale will end. In a sense i supposed the reason that its not done yet is to give me/customer a sense of urgency but id be big into adding a timething to say when it ends
I was very unhappy with the program. The figures were stiff and hard to pose. The figures would warp and twist. Even the simplest of poses were hard to create. The bodies felt unnatural and were pretty much useless as art reference.
I contacted their tech help about the problem over the course of several weeks but they were no help as they had no answers for me to fix the problems.
Love the store, but NFT marketing is very off-putting. Also, recent updates to the store UI have made the shop difficult to use on a desktop PC. Otherwise, prices are still good, many products are of high quality, and the Genesis 8 character platform remains powerful and versatile.
I have received several emails from your website, but when I visited your website graphics, it was really impressive and I was impressed with you, but your services will not continue due to your website's low speed.
The new preview of the sales cart makes it extremely difficult to see required products for items added. It used to be much easier when the preview only showed the current item being added instead of all of them.
Free program with a lot of contents! Wonderful figures and yes if you want more you must buy, but hey! There are a lot of things great site! Really love all the stuff there, the TOONS are awesome! And plus a lot of free items! Great website!
The assets are quality, but the prices have become pretty ridiculous. A hundred plus dollars for a pro-bundle? Those are some pretty expensive assets. I only buy, when there are sales, now. Too expensive.
It's easy to navigate and all the products are top-quality, but it's just way too expensive, hence why I only by discounted items.
You should also stop the practice of charging extra for product textures. This is just not good value for money.
In fact, it's a pretty blatant rip-off, imo.
My experience has been good for the most part, it just seems that a lot of the deals presented, are great deals for items I already purchased. Most of the items I get are things that have good prices and not necessarily what I need.
An amazing 3D software system with a purchasable library of characters, clothing, environments, and accessories to make virtually anything you want. What more can you ask for. DAZ 3D is an amazing tool to learn both 3D artwork and to do original 3D animation. It has been key to bringing many of my characters to life.
I wish you would make all the Michael characters for Poser. I am still using Michael 4! I got the Aiden character for the unique beauty of the texture, and I know that the textures will work on M4. I can't afford to switch everything over to DAZ, I am a disabled Veteran on Social Security. It breaks my heart every time a gorgeous new character comes out for the newer Michaels, and I can't use any of them.
Your site overall has a really clean UX and purchasing is always easy. The only thing I would say could use some work is the searching system. Like the other day I wanted to find Genesis 8 Male characters, but I can only choose that figure, which shows everything for G8M.
I buy a ton of Daz products. I think the quality of every product is top notch! My only complaint with Daz3D site is the Gallery. It seems like there is a lot of bias, and that can be very discuraging.
I have been trying to get critical support from you all and haven't gotten it; I can't open DazStudio 4.2 on my Mac, and I am falling behind on my work as a result. I need quicker and better tech help.
Hi,
The legs parts are somewhat minimalist:(
I found this product pretty, but with No pose morph, no adjustment/tweaking slide buttons, and no shins segments parts...
It does prevent the dress from being adjusted to really suit well the character...
What a pity for such a Legendary dress!
But, it is a nice kit!
Cordially,^AMZ
Hi, the "ZOOM" ratio is somewhat too near from the scene so I had to recompose the full aspect ratio by creating a sphere myself, and tweaking it to have a Smaller look and feel for the planets, on HDR 4, for example... PLanets are too big and one the opposite side of the scene, I mean not directly visible from FRONT...
Adding a fake ground helped and the rendered scene, as is, was more better than it was with the delivered product, for me...
My comment, here, is not general, because I "needed" this set to incorporate it to a scifi view you'll probably see if I have enough time to compete to the constet before March 31 ;)
Daz makes awesome products for the novice (like me) and the professional. And with the Affirm option to get items now, while paying for them over time is BRILLIANT. I take advantage of this feature a few times this year.
I love Daz and its various content. I am glad I don't need years of experience or natural talent as an artist to produce awesome work.
I really like the new setup of the store and the new setup for placing orders. I find it easy to shop and place my orders now. I love that I can view my cart without leaving my current shopping page as well.
There is no way to view the installed size of a model prior to purchase. You need to show the installed size on the description page!
Also, the "new and improved" thumbnail page of items by category wastes space on the left and the next page navigation at the bottom leaves you looking at the bottom of the next page and requires another button click to move to the top and begin viewing the next page items. Both of these problems did not exist in the prior layout. Bad page design!
Very difficult to make purchase decisions when information concerning the SIZE of the installed packaged is not available ANYWHERE on the site. Buy blindly and hope for the best. BAD Customer Service prior to sale!
Answer: You get 3 free transfers then there is a cost to upgrade to unlimited. I found a much better program FaceGen Artist Pro. It's pricey at $139 but gives much better results than the built in face transfer.
Answer: Daz has a free transfer program on their website for blender, maya and many more. Works good!
Answer: No, Daz Studio does animation. You will render your animation series.
Answer: Daz3D will not read those files, as they are just text. However, the files can be "rendered" as an image, for use within Daz3D. Or, if you are asking about the other side of things, Daz3D can render images or video, which can be used along with your presentations. Both of those formats you mention, do not normally include "video formats". Neither of them are "image formats". PDF is just a text layout format for printing pages. MS-Word is just a text-formatting program, for use with printing too, for direct display in MS-Word, or on printed paper. However, it can export in other formats. (Not to be confused with "Word pad".) If you can put the words on an image, in any form, they can be used within Daz3D, for display. However, Daz does not have any form of "text-rendering code", to convert text into 3D objects.
Answer: When you register with the website, you will be given a code that is entered for you. If that fails, for whatever reason, you can go to your profile page and locate all "license codes", used to activate all the free items which may need them. (Or the paid programs, if you buy them.)
Daz3D has a rating of 3.6 stars from 1,447 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally satisfied with their purchases. Reviewers satisfied with Daz3D most frequently mention good experience, customer service and high quality. Daz3D ranks 2nd among Graphic Design sites.
I'm sorry to hear that this was your experience. We take the level of realism and quality in our figures very seriously. For this reason they are used to simulate real human figures for CGI effects in large production movies such as Jurassic World, Iron Man, and many others. But your point is valid. It is difficult to create a software experience that allows all of the nuances of posing a human figure in a realistic way. Although we strive to make this experience as good as possible, it definitely is not for everyone. I hope that you have been able to find a software experience that you feel is a better experience for you.
