Item was mailed next day but took 8 days total. Return due to wrong size was easy at local store. Will order next size down and waiting another 8+ days as I see it was not sent out yet.
I guess for free shipping you get that you get but a $500 pair of pants in a shoe box should not take this long.

ONLINE shopping was quick and easy. Used by garage settings to make sure items fit my motorcycle.
I paid for 2-day shipping but one of the two items was late. I called customer service and was refunded with no hassle. I gave 4 stars for delivery because I had to drive twice into the city.

Delivery of my helmet was mess, driver didn't even put the helmet on the truck then said the business was closed, followed by arriving early. Luckily someone at the facility located my package and I was able to retrieve it in person. Upon receiving the package part of the helmet was damaged, however this was very quickly resolved by the employees at the store with no hassle at all. Delivery may have been a bust, but cycle gear employees take care of their customers one hundred and fifty percent.
Shopping for bike-specific parts was not as easy as I expected. Some items were listed that were not available for my bike. Also, buying a tire AND having it installed by Cycle Gear was not very clear. I had to assume that having the tire delivered to the store, then dropping off my wheel to get the tire mounted and balanced was the correct procedure. CS did confirm and it process was very smooth and quick. The grips, though, were too short and had to be returned for credit until I could find an appropriate style that fits my bike. Biggest disappointment was that the battery came with NO ACID. This was not clear on the website, and should be corrected.

Unfortunately, the boots I ordered did not fit properly so I had to return them, but the return process was nice and easy too! Nothing wrong with the product and this should no way reflect the quality products and services from Cycle Gear. Overall an excellent experience!
I ordered these tires before I need them just in case. The sales person was very helpful in answering all my questions except one. Since it may be at least a month before these tires are mounted, when does the warranty start? At the time of purchase or when they are put in to service?
I purchased a panda moto UH 03 shirt. It came with 3 out of the 4 pads (this is why 4/5 stars). I contacted customer service and they sent me 2 other pads that were not panda moto pads as they did not have them in stock. But the new pads came quick and fit.
My address was typed incorrect by one number so it ended up in another house. I saw the email confirming the delivery and it was wrong. When I realized it, it had been two days so I drove to the address stated in my email. I left a note with my number and thankfully the owner of the house called me back. I did check my account to double check if my address was written wrong by the girl who helped me at cycle gear but she typed it correctly.
It was new battery time for my BV 400. I ordered online from Cycle Gear even though I hadn't done a battery prep myself before. But it was really easy and I got to spend most of Sunday on my bike. Good job!
Been super happy with the service and attention that has been provided since we walk in. Been coming back to this store cause of the staff being super helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend to everyone looking for gear accessories. Definitely will be coming back

Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
