Returned merchandise not received in 5 days pay a 20% restocking penalty. I live in Indiana and it would cost me $150 to air freight the merchandise to guarantee I met this deadline. Several photos are also required. I will not use Couture Candy in the future.
Beautiful dresses and great selection, but why are all ordered dresses shipped individually and you have to pay DHL express fees for each package. This is not nice. You could have sent both dresses in one package, because they were sent on the same day. I will think twice about ordering again...

This is by far the worst shopping experience I have ever had. Before I purchased anything on the site, I emailed the company to ask if I would be able to return dresses if I did not like them. I was told absolutely everything can be returned. The person NEVER said that I could only use a store credit. If you are a mother of a bride or groom and you are looking for a dress, you know how stressful this process is and how many dresses you buy and return. I ended up using the store credit and bought three other dresses that I will probably end up giving away because they all look horrible. I would never shop here again or ever recommend them to anyone. AND- you have to pay for shipping which is insane in today's world of online shopping. I will never recommend this company to anyone. They should be ashamed of themselves.
Before you read all the strong reviews on their site, just google the hundreds of reviews detailing their deceptive practices many documented with the better business bureau. They put into writing 40 days ago a refund to me, nothing so far, they don't answer the phone and when they do they simply read from a script, they are so sorry, this must be very frustrating and they have acelerated it to management. I have heard it so many times, I could recite it. Literally hundreds of warnings online in caps "DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY". I sure wish I had seen this before getting involved with them. The only time i can promise you will hear from them is within minutes of a one star review and a bold ask to have you change it to a 4 or a 5 even without trying to help you with your issue.
I am 5' 11", 180 lbs. I ordered a Large as I wear a size 12 in dresses. Unfortunately, it was a little small. An XL would have fit perfectly. The online ordering was very easy, and I received my order within 1 week!
Horrible service, defective dress was sent and they did not let me return it!
I purchased a dress from Coutre Candy after a friend recommended the site. I was hoping to wear the dress to a wedding in May. When I received the dress it did not fit so I inquired about how to return it. I was told there was a no return policy on sale items. When I asked if I could exchange it for a larger size they said they do not do exchanges either. How can an online company not do returns or exchanges when it isn't possible to try on the items before you purchase them? I did not see this disclaimer when I ordered the dress and would never expect that to be a policy it doesn't make sense! How could you possibly know if the dress will fit properly? I am a very disappointed customer and plan to tell everyone I know never to purchase anything from Coutre Candy!
My gown smells terrible I know have to pay money to get it cleaned. How could you ship this was it used
I never received a notification that this shipped and never received tracking information. The dress just showed up one day. And the one that arrived was different than as pictured. It's too much of a hassle to return so I'm going to have it altered to look like the picture instead.
Edit: Customer service reached out and offered a refund of a portion of the purchase price of the dress to help cover the cost of alterations! I think that is pretty above and beyond and deserves an upgraded rating. I would definitely order from this site again now.
The shipment went well and I received the dress fast and timely, but the inferior quality of the dress made me disappointed. It's not sophisticated at all, the way it describes on your ad. It looks cheap. I hope I can exchange it with a different dress.

Couture Candy has the largest selection of dresses however it's difficult to see what the dress looks like online. It would be helpful to have many different pictures of the dress not only the picture from the designer. I'm still in the process of returning my first dress and trying to order another so I am hoping that goes smoothly?

Answer: They will only offer you store credit minus multitude of the penalties regardless of the reason for the return, oh and you will have to pay back the "free" shipping. DO NOT BUY from this company!
