I ordered two items from their website that were described as "in stock".
Three months later, and after numerous excuses the items still haven't arrived yet.
They even created a label but the items were never handed over to the shipping company.
Cannot recommend!
Order several high priced items from them. The first appliance arrived with a plug that is not standard and can't be used in a home. They sent a page long return authorization stating that the box needed to be sent back still sealed and with no markings etc, but should have the RA number on all sides?
Then I try to cancel another piece from the same order, and although it has not shipped yet, they've sent it to shipping and cannot stop it. These guys grab your money and make every excuse not to work with you. Lastly, read the fine print. Just cause it says its in stock, doesn't mean it is, and you might be waiting weeks for them to get it. Try to get your money back and it'll take weeks for them to process the refund. Total scam!
The product arrived in good order and as scheduled. Very happy with the purchase price and product itself. I've used it several times since and there is no question as to it's quality & durability. It's heavy as an anchor and very well coated on the inside so for either stove top or oven it's perfect for baking artisan bread, pot roasts, stews and even Mac & Cheese and a whole lot more.

I ordered a few items in February 2021 and despite being told they would ship in 2-4 weeks I still haven't received them in June. I had made another order in March with the same result. I had messaged once a month to follow up and was always told in 2-4 weeks they would be in stock. I don't know if they even carry any stock of items or just endlessly are awaiting stock from suppliers but despite the prices looking enticing it has turned out to be a complete waste of time.
I've ordered a few times. Happy so far. Last time I ordered I was informed 3 days later that the item was delayed. The Customer Service Team offered an upgrade at no additional charge. Order was delivered 2 days later. All in all, If you don't have unacceptable expectations cookstore.com delivers. Don't let Prime Delivery ruin your patience people...
Charge you right from the get go. Claim they have the stock but keep saying 2-4 weeks, can hold that statement for months. Does not publish bad review on the website as shown in the picture below. This is a review that i posted on november 15th 2021. I finally had to ask for reimbursement.
After reading all the bad reviews I had low hopes of receiving my items quickly so after a couple days I wrote to the help desk to see what's the hold up and they told me they were waiting for only one of my item before they could send my shipment.
They asked me if I want to have the item removed from my order and have the shipment sent right away and I accepted.
I received the package about 2 days later.
Overall I'm pleased with the customer service and how they dealt with the situation. I think they should contact the customer if they have any delays though or update their site so the items doesn't show ''In stock & Ready to Ship'' so it removes any confusion.
Nice set but arrived with 2 damaged glass lids. Trying to communicate with customer service but no replies back. Not impressed with their service. All I want is 2 replacements lids or the value of the lids so I can replace them. I wrote a review before but for some reason it doesnt get posted. Maybe because I dont give it a 5 stars. Would reply appeciate receiving a reply to my emails

I took advantage of their free shipping during last Christmas (2019) and ordered a few items. A package arrived a few weeks later. To my horror, one item was missing from the package. There was no indication on the package (nor email notification) telling me that the missing item will be shipped later. So I sent them an email. They told me that the item was out of stock but a shipment has just arrived and will be sending me a delivery confirmation within a week. A week passed and no email confirmation. So I asked again and was told the same thing. So I kept waiting. It was probably the longest waiting time in my online shopping experiences. I couldn't help but wonder, will they actually send the item if I didn't keep pursuing. They charged my credit card right away when I placed the order, but didn't send the item till more than one month later. The three stars are given to the email/chat conversations I had with the staff. But I will give a negative three stars to the shipping arrangement. A missing item in my original packaged and a delayed in sending the last item. The whole experience gives me a chilly effect. Despite the great selections on their website, I feel very uncomfortable buying from them again. Trust is lost.
I've shopped at Cookstore.ca many times over the past 5 years. Their selection of high quality cookware is among the best I've seen in Canada. While delivery sometimes takes a little while, they keep me posted and always come through -- and I've found it's worth the wait for excellent products, some which can't be found anywhere else. Recently, they went above and beyond: I had ordered a high-end item that unfortunately had a defect that was revealed on use; when I went to the manufacturer, their customer service was surprisingly and disappointingly inadequate. I contacted Cookstore.ca and explained the situation, and without any further questions they made it right. Kudos to Cookstore.ca for being a responsive -- and responsible -- retailer!
I have ordered several items from Cook Store. Always had very good service. Excellent selection of products. The last item I ordered was going to be late getting to me (through no fault of their own) so they offered a superior product that was in stock at no extra charge. I would definitely order from them again.
Bought some knives last year and went well. Placed an order for a pot in November 2022. It was confirmed and money taken but no delivery, no replies to emails, no one answering the phone. Now trying to get my money back through PayPal
Absolutely horrific customer service! You will be refunding me or you will be charged with fraud so I suggest you return my call. You can't charge for something and not send it out. The better business bureau has been contacted 0 *
Items listed as "in stock and ready to ship" are not. This company uses Chinese drop shipping, and will give you no ETA on your order. They were quick to take nearly $3000 for an appliance but slow to answer questions or give updates. In the end I had to go to my credit card company to have the charges reversed as they will not cancel an order. Even one that has not shipped.
Just be aware that their return\refund process is overly complicated and you will need to follow up on the return even though they've received the product! I wasted so much time on what should be a simple return. I will not purchase anything from the CookStore.ca in the future.
I ordered a chamber vacuum $3,500 they sent me a used one or a floor model it doesn't work properly on one side. They keep stalling not answering questions. Telling me they're going to get back to me in a day it's been over a month and they just keep avoiding me. How they get back to me is by saying we'll get back to you and that's it with the next step. All I asked for was an exchange for a new one like I paid for. This company is a scam they take your money do not deliver as promised. I shall be reporting and everybody else should be reporting this to the better business bureau I'm also taking him to small claims court after Christmas this is caused me such stress don't waste your Time find a better company
Shipping is super delayed with no available updates. Customer service either doesn't reply or outright lies, claiming some variant of today or tomorrow for sure. Days later when still not shipped, if you're lucky enough to get through to someone, they feed you the same line to kick the can down the road another few days. Can't comment on product quality as I would need to actually receive something to do so!
I am calling my credit card company to refund the money as the order has not been received after 2 months. Customer service via email extremely poor. Unable to connect by phone regarding standing orders. Cannot speak to or communicate with a manager.
Two weeks later and i am still waiting for my order. My account has already been debited (they did this pretty quickly!). Customer Services are full of nothing but lies! Ive been given 3 different shipping dates. Wont be ordering from them again. I'd rather pay more elsewhere and get my items in a timely and hassle-free manner.

Answer: I am one of those who hates supporting the world wide behemoth online store so randomly bought from this Canadian company. The item I bought was not available in any local retail stores which is still my preference for shopping.(Victorinox - Blue 8" Fibrox Pro Straight Blade Chef Knife). I placed the order, had the confirmation email shortly, item shipped as expected and I had it in a few days. I'd use them again.
