*updated after called by company: Received a phone that was already opened and missing accessories.
June 27, 2017

I ordered a brand new Pixel XL phone on a Saturday evening with rush delivery and received the phone on Thursday. I had to take off work to be at home to receive my phone since they will only ship to authorized billing addresses, (note the fine print on the shipping page... I did not see it). When I opened it I noticed the phone package was not sealed. The outer box was for a 128gb phone, the inner had a 32gb sticker on it, and the phone itself had a 128 sticker on it. It was definitely not a new, unopened phone. Opening the box showed a phone in a over-sized plastic bag. There was no plastic over screen. It contained a since USB A to C cord and a small square generic USB charger. It was missing the USB C to C cable and the stock charger. There was also a small scratch on the bottom corner of the phone. I emailed immediately describing the mix up and asking for return instructions and a brand new replacement, or a refund if that could not be arranged. (I was cautious after having read several online review of the same thing happening to others) I was sent an address to return the phone and a promise that a new phone would be sent as soon as the old was received, but had to solicit a prepaid label from them myself. It would have been nice to have that sent from the outset, since it was their mistake. From this point on, all responses from this company were single sentences with minimum thought for customer service. I sent the phone back on Friday via 2 day shipping and had to reach out to query the status on Tuesday. I received an email back the next day that my order was being cancelled and I was getting a refund. I would have ordered another one directly from google several days earlier had i been told immediately that I was going to be refunded instead of replaced. Customer service says that I chose the refund, but I was very clear in my messages that I wanted a new, unopened phone, and if they could not do that, THEN I expected a refund.

*Update: I have amended my review to just the facts and removed any colorful commentary and speculation born from my frustration after receiving a phone call 10 minutes after my original post from the company asking me to remove it, saying that i was being not nice and that they were going to have their team of guys post bad reviews about the company I work for as retaliation. On the positive side, I have received some positive direct communication from the company via email clarifying some points and helping me to take step back and remove my emotion from it. The threatening phone call from the guy with the Indian accent is totally out of line, however, and my companys legal team has been notified regarding the interaction. Shame... might have bumped them up a star if it wasn't for that strong arm tactic.

There is no word in the English language that can express the sheer disappointment Cell2Get offers
May 9, 2015

Hello, so here's my review of Cell2Get.com.

Basically, it's worthless. It fails in every single, possible respect.

The problems began right from ordering. Their site is utterly incorrect in so many ways that the amount it boggles my mind could power a centrifuge, providing clean electricity to over 50 English orphanages. The actual order process itself was fine; it was after they got my money that things took a turn for the worse. I paid for $10 FedEx Ground shipping to expedite things, but not only did it not matter because of the amount of time that it actually took to ship the phone, but they also did not give me FedEx Ground. The phone was shipped USPS, apparently, so, looking back... I guess they might have just pocketed that money?

They state that it can take 1-2 days to ship on one page, and up to 3 in another. However, my product did not get shipped for even longer than that. When I e-mailed them about the status of my order and why it was taking so long for it to ship, they told me it had been shipped already, apparently implying that the site was a liar. The site showed the product as having been shipped a day or two after that, of course (which is when I suspect that it actually shipped). They then gave me a USPS tracking number for me to track the phone and, yes, it was for someone else's package. Being returned to them, at Cell2Get. Perhaps it was a tracking number from myself in the future, cryptically prophesying my demise on this journey of mediocrity.

To top it all off, the phone literally got to me, all the way across the country, in just a couple of days. It took less time to travel hundreds upon hundreds of miles than it took for it to reach their little red-flagged mailbox.

Their site states that they sell over 3000 brand new products. Again, their site lies. After opening the box, it was obviously clear that the phone was thoroughly well-used and possibly well-loved. The world will never know for sure.

In any case, on booting it up, there was no first-run wizard, there was already another person's profile on the operating system, the box was not the original phone box, it did not come with everything the brand new phone comes with, the battery did not look new, and the screen had an image and text already slightly burned into it. When I pointed this out via e-mail, I didn't get an apology or even a "whups sry jk br0" - I simply got a reference to the store's refund policy. They stated that they would give me a full refund, counter to their store policy.

I shipped the phone back to them, confirming that I would, indeed, receive a full refund. They agreed and responded that they would contact me as soon as they received my phone. As a side-note, I paid four good dollars to return it USPS first-class with tracking, so I don't really understand how it took $10 to ship it FedEx Ground to me. Maybe 10 Sand Dollars, I dunno.

About a week after the phone arrived at Cell2Get I contacted them about it, and they responded to give it 5-7 more days. That day I received an e-mail stating that the refund was started. So my understanding of this is that if I never contacted them about it after sending the phone back, they wouldn't have refunded anything. They would have kept the phone and the money. So... Yeah.

Bottom line: Don't buy from them. They might send you an empty box and tell you to enjoy your new iPad Air.

If you want to get a phone for cheap, just go to Swappa. At least you can have a bit of control over the quality, status, seller, and price of the device when you purchase it. Swappa recommends that the seller ship quickly, and you can see their rating across multiple storefronts, which is also very nice.

5/12/15 Update: Over the past weekend, I was called by someone claiming to be serving a court date to me. Apparently, Cell2Get is now suing me for some malevolence I've displayed through this whole ordeal. The person asked if I would be home to receive the papers. I wasn't able to receive them at that time; he said that he would send them to me, and that I'd receive them Monday.

I am eagerly awaiting those papers.

Tip for consumers:

Don't.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY "CELL2GET", THEY ARE NOT A REPUTIBLE COMPANY.
I wish I'd done more research into this company prior to placing an order!.

I am very unhappy with this cell phone dealer, Cell2Get. When I ordered 2 Samsung Galaxy S3's, I paid for overnight shipping thru FedEx, as I needed these phones ASAP. When I called and asked for a tracking number I was told that my order was in process. Later that evening, a person named Melvin sent me an email at 10:50 pm, stating the order was on it's way, and it was processed that day. My first concern was when I received a tracking number that was for USPS and not FedEx. My second concern was when I started tracking this order, it was being shipped from CHINA. Who in their right mind sends items from CHINA with an overnight shipping request, it can't make it through customs that fast. My third concern when I called back again, I spoke to "George" and he told me that the items would be arriving Wednesday, and they would charge my credit card when I signed for the package and they would refund the FedEx overnight charge since I didn't receive it on time. On Wednesday evening, since I still hadn't received my phones, I called again and spoke to Melvin to cancel this order. He told me that since the shipment was on it's way that he couldn't stop it from being delivered, so he asked me to not sign for the package and there would be no charge on my credit card. Surprise, Surprise. I checked my credit card statement, and I was indeed charged for 2 phones that I never received. When I called this company again, Melvin informed me that the package was re-routed back to them and they signed for the package, then because there was a signature, they charged my account. When I asked them why I was charged even after being told that they wouldn't charge me, since I didn't sign for the package, they said that they made a mistake. REALLY!
To add fuel to the fire, Melvin had the audacity to offer me the phones for $150.00 off the original purchase price. Really, did he honestly think I'd do business with them. NOT EVER!
I had to call my credit card company to dispute this charge, and now I have to wait 10 business day's to see if I do indeed get my money back. I have also contacted the better business bureau about this company as this should never have happened to begin with.
***DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AS THEY CAN'T EVEN FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS THAT THEY GIVE THE CUSTOMER.***

After my experience, I believe that purchasing a phone...
June 30, 2013

After my experience, I believe that purchasing a phone from Cell2get.com is a gamble. It took me 78 days to receive the correct model and new phone I purchased.

I purchased a new Samsung Galaxy Nexus Mobile Phone Model SPHL700KIT on 4/12/2013 and paid for FedEx Ground delivery. I received the wrong model phone 10 days later on 4/22/2013. (FedEx Ground shows 2 days from Brooklyn to the Chicago area). The phone was NOT Shipped FedEx Ground as paid for, but standard USPS First Class mail. I contacted Cell2get.com and spoke with Melvin. He said he would get a replacement phone out expedited and shipped to my work address.

After numerous calls and emails to Melvin and an additional 23 days later, I received a replacement phone on 5/18/213.
The replacement phone was:
- Not shipped expedited as agreed - It was shipped USPS First Class mail
- Not shipped to the updated work address as agreed
- REMANUFACTURED and NOT NEW as advertised on the Cell2get.com web page subsequent emails and calls to Melvin

The replacement phone's battery cover was used and it did not fit correctly due to broken snaps. After many calls and emails to Melvin at Cell2get.com, I understood from Melvin at Cell2get.com that he believes remanufactured is new.

After Melvin agreed to replace this remanufactured phone with a verified new one, it finally arrived via USPS First class mail an additional 28 days later on 6/29/2013. It was the correct phone and appears to be new but the box and phone were opened. (not sealed). The replacement phone was not shipped expedited and did not arrive at my work address as agreed. It arrived USPS First class mail shipped inside a USPS Priority Mail padded envelope turned inside out.

-The price dropped $15 to $304.99 and there was no effort by Melvin at Cell2get.com to adjust the price.
-The FedEx shipping $10.32 was not credited
-The return shipping of 2 phones@ $24.84 to Melvin at Cell2get.com (due to Cell2get.com fault) was not credited or adjusted
-Items were never shipped FedEx as paid for
-USPS tracking numbers are generated days before the package is received at the USPS orgin facility
-USPS Priority Mail padded envelopes are turned inside out and used to ship (slower) USPS 1st Class Mail
-Remanufactured phones are being sold as new and Cell2get.com doesn't seem to understand he difference

My opinion based on my experience - look else where to purchase a phone.
