I absolutely love using canva! The entire site is so self-explanatory and easy to use, there's no steep learning curve at all. There's also so much you can do on canva design wise, from creating posters and graphics to making and editing videos. The premium version is even better - absolutely love it!
I signed up for a free trial to make a funeral program and forgot to cancel. Not a problem... I was charged 12.99 and decided to go back to Canvas site to simply cancel. I tried three times over three days and it states there is an error with cancelling please call. Well you call because they want to convince you to stay. It's all a trap and scam. A lot of people do not want to wait on the line to cancel something that should be done online. That's how they get at least another month out of people. That's why their business is failing (regardless of COVID) and they will fall to the wayside like a lot of these cheap sites.
I paid and have proof of purchase 12 days ago. I am unable to use pro functions and site signals that I need to upgrade! I have written several times and NOTHING except canned automatic replies. The contact form won't allow for more than one screenshot. I literally saw a message that said, "We are receiving more messages than usual. Duh. Hire more people. There are plenty of folks needing work these days!
I used the site to create a simple invitation. It is not always very clear which items will charge you and which are free. I ended up creating an invitation that used $4.00 of credits. I went to pay for just the items that would cost $4.00. When I checked my account, I saw that $10.00 had been withdrawn. I contacted customer service and they claim that I changed it to $10.00. No, why would I buy a credit pack when I only intended to purchase the day-license for the 4 items I wanted to use to make a single invitation? They would not refund me saying it was impossible/irreversible. It may just be $6.00, but it's the principle of them refusing to refund.
Made a simple transaction of a reasonable amount of business cards with a simple design for a low amount... this terrible company made multiple attempts to the payment method from various locations in and out of the country and was flagged as fraud by my bank. Stay away! Buyer beware.
I was charged incorrectly one day before my annual plan finish. The plan was automatically renewed without a single email informing me about the same, there was not even a reminder email saying that it will be renewed automatically, this is completely wrong and no site can do that without confirmation from the person.
I ordered my Holiday cards printed by Canva and paid extra for the envelopes and expedited shipping. I received them on time and had planned to write 100 cards, labels the envelopes and ship them by Monday. I realized the envelopes were too small and contacted them. They promised to get them sent expedited. It's been 3 days since my call and I received an email saying they hope my issue has been resolved. You tell me Canva, did you ship the envelopes? Nada! The tool might be fine but don't order ANYTHING from them. They're completely unreliable and now they won't refund me.
Previously, I used to love Canva, me and my kids have always used it. Recently, Canva had many bugs and had said Sorry, something went wrong. I found it very annoying as I had lost hours of work. I do not recommend this website, unless you want to waste your time.

Purchased a 4'x8' banner that the holes started ripping on the first time I tried to use it. The cheap plastic stick-on reinforcements they provide do not stay in place and the material of the banner rips regardless. Upon the third use, the hole ripped completely thru. Canva says they are only liable for the first 30 days, and it has been just under 90 days so now I'm out over $100 for a banner I only got to use twice and now I have to go buy a new banner. Do not use this company for your custom banners!
I designed some business cards on this site which was nice. But the quality of the cards was very poor. All six of the people I ordered for had bad framing of the cards, they were very flimsy, and the colors didn't look great. I tried them one more time hoping things were better. They messed up by printing the same side on both sides of the card. Their customer service was very poor and hard to use. I will never use this company again and warn everyone to not use them.
They are stealing your identity! They don't care! Beware! Fraud
No review it's fraud! Fraud! I opened a free account NOw they are saying I owe them $$$. Wake up people! You're giving your identity to people and apps that can't protect you. Wake up!
It's really not that great. You need to pay for extras. They lock you in to question why you want to cancel. Deceptive, unwilling to work out issue. Bill me 12.99 I'm going to now tell everyone to get rid of Canva.
- Poor COLOR quality on pamphlets (I also paid for "glossy" and received "matte")
- Poor PAPER quality on business cards
- NO Customer Service - only automated responses saying they will be in contact with you shortly. "Lance" responded to my request 18 days later. I responded back within 2 business days and they wanted to "closed the case" because they didn't hear from me in time (Thursday- Monday).
After submitting my requests, they locked my access to the things I created on the site - good thing I already downloaded everything.
They also sent stickers about kindness - I think they should keep those for themselves.
I was going to be a regular customer, not anymore.
I was really struggling with other business design websites as I could never seem to get the dimensions and quality right for print.
I just designed my business cards, ordered them to my specifications and submitted my order. Extremely quick delivery, especially as I live in the UK and the parcel was coming from the US. Can't recommend enough!
I really like the canvas, it's a great site to make a designer, for those who work doing digital arts. Logos and more. They always give a great opportunity for people to make money in some way.
All you need to do is have creativity and willpower and work properly and correctly.
I ordered some cards from this company and told them I did not get them and they are still not here and they have not given me my money back, but they had the nerve to bill me talking bout your card for your monthly service declined update your payment method, I wish i would, I meant to take my card off there, when I get my cards I might reconsider but this company has disappointed me to the max. Canva is seriously awesome and i'm glad someone finally thought of this idea. If you're not a designer, Canva has a very easy UI to help you design anything from facebook covers to posters. There's great free content, and they only charge if you want to use specific images or templates. You can always upload your own images free of charge.
It is good website i liked it i dono y ppl always find negative in everything. For free no website will give lots of layouts, and photo quality also good. Respect there work if someone is helping us always don't try say bad.
Dont put your card on their website, they will charge you without your consent. Don't fall into their trap for free subscription, it will lure you to unwanted charge without notification. Very disappointed
I was trying to make an ai generated image and they said the following was too offensive to make "a logo for a company which shows they do not use animal testing. It is a vegan and cruelty free cosmetic company. It should be a bunny with a smiliing face.", no customer support when tried to resolve issue
Answer: That was one of my issues. No active link to cancel the free trial subscription.
Answer: There is zero support. Until they do something about it, don't begin with them. Try Snappa instead.
