There is no other manufacturer I turst to make better cameras if not canon. I have bought quite a few goods fromt their store and not oce have I ever been dissapointed. Canon offers quality and that is why I will always prefer it. The price is high because of that reason but that should not be a major concern.
Some products may be overprices, however the brand proved itself for being always on point and creating well functioning pieces able to work with the least amount of effort required from the owner.
In a high grade camera outstanding image quality. Broad range of fine lenses and accessories. Canon constantly updates the technology and holds it at the forefront of digital development.
My Canon EOS M50 Mark ll is at the Repair Center in CA and I got notice that I have to pay the price of $247 if I want them to do the repair! The repair is about the display of the LCD that does not function anymore since my camera is just out of warranty. The LCD started to go on and off about 2 month after warranty quit, and it was like that for a while until the display completely quit. It must be only a contact problem, and they want me to pay that much to have it fixed, what is totally outrageous!
This Camera must be a Monday model, ha!... a big waste of money, since I also bought a nice Tele Lense with it, that I now can not use anymore!
Then the 15-45 lese that went with that Camera in a package sale has a problem as well. If I put it onto the camera it does not release a closing position. The Lens stays closed and does not allow photo. I sent it in with the camera and they are NOT DOING A REPAIR ON IT, and want me to pay the full amount of a refurbished lense! What kind of Service or Repair is THAT? So for the amount of money I have to spend on the repair on my Camera and lense I can buy a refurbished set... is that what a service repair should be?
I am done with Canon now, especially since my photographer friends tell me that I should better not have purchased a Canon from the M series...!
On 02/28/2024 I placed an order for ink cartridges which promised 3-7 shipping. Since then nothing...
I have a CanonTR7020 printer and am being forced to participate in the printer ink program. I canceled the ink program because of lousy customer service and that was months ago. Yesterday, I received an email saying my printer ink participation is canceled and now I cannot print. I get a message that the printer cannot communicate with the corporate office to measure my ink levels so I cannot print. That is ridiculous. I should have the choice of participating in the ink program or not. This happened when I first bought the printer 2 years ago so I relented and set up the ink program against my better judgement. Their customer service is lousy. I will be buying a new printer and definitely not a Canon. I will tell everyone I know not to buy Canon printers. I will even post it on social media.
They make you get a software to download your pictures and is complicated for people that are not tech savvy. I had to buy a memory card to get my pictures.
I am using a Canon - EOS R6 Mark II RF24-105mm F4 L is USM KIT for 1 year already. This is by far the best camera I've ever owned. I am photographic nature, animals, people
I am a starter in the photography industry. Taking part in various courses I had a great deal of information about this brand products. What is more, I worked with some editions and it is amazing.
Canon has the most economical printers in the world I have had my MX700 FOR 7 YEARS and have saved much money on ink because of the way the cartridges are built as separate units case in point my printer was in my car and feel out the back of my 4X4 onto the pavement the printer is built so well I was able to put all the pieces back and I am still printing as we speak their scanners and digital camera's are superb as well I love CANON PRODUCTS #####5 STARS AND a user for life
Happy New Years, readers, SJ, followers and followed. Canon, while they produce some pretty cool gadgets I find the site misleading. I guess to me it's a case of whats needed what performs and whats not needed, I'm talking about advertising hype over capability. My canon kit cost me just over 2k, it's totally adequate for what i use it for (screen resolution) now I'm not looking to blow my works up or produce large commercial prints because if i did I'd need a top line model from the "mark series" and yes they take great photos pixels depth and amazing reproduction for miles. But canon calls this PRO, where does that leave my kit? Somewhere between enthusiast and "the serious photographer"/beginner. Surely my knowledge and eye for the shot, composition, light, puts me up higher in the rank? All i'm trying to say is. Skill is in the holder of the cam not the cam, the stove didn't make dinner it was a utensil. So if canon or anyone else is saying you need 15k to be good at what you do, ignore it, it's just advertising and they know it. So while i'm a big fan canon don't spoil it by saying i need to spend 15k to be a "photographer" thats bollocks. Just be clear about what you need then upgrade later, which i'll be doing soon, lens wise, the 500D body is totally capable of capturing madness so will not be buying another body for a while. Thanks for reading.
The menu design is easy and friendly for begineer, i could get familiar with skills in a short time, and the manual is quite thorough to help me out.
I got a Canon 450D for my birthyday a couple of years ago and i love the thing to death. It is pure quality on all levels.
BEEN PRO MEMBERSHIP AND USER OF CANON. BEEN WITH THEM FOR OVER 15 YEARS.
AS A PRO MEMBER I GET SERVICES AT DISCOUNT.
Answer: Nikon, Lecia :) My dream is to get a lecia in the near future. I like the color in the original mode
