THIS BUSINESS IS RATED "A" BY THE BBB WEBSITE. I have made many orders (more than 10) from this site and never had a problem. They have different things for sale like; chia seeds, millet, and amaranth by the pound, whole nutmeg, fossil shell flour, goji berries. I like to get dried fruit to add to the kombucha brew. It's good stuff!
You can find every spice you will ever need here. I got a 5lb bag of cayenne to spray the garden pests!
They also have organic dried fruits & grains, dried beans, and old fashioned ribbon candy. I am partial to their organic evaporated cane juice sugar. This would be a great place for a bakery to get their goods. I guess, once again, I got lucky with this site. Of course I have never ordered nuts or had an occasion to contact customer service. So they seem to be A+ to me!

The problems with my order, mirror those of countless other consumers, and are listed below:
Ordered food items. Bulkfoods.com did not correctly utilize the ship to information I submitted, and I called them to ask that they intercept before the order shipped. They refused, since they were closing for the day and wanted to go home (per David the representative I spoke with, who said they would take care of it the next day). I followed up with an email identifying a problem had arisen with the order, and what needed to be done to correct it before it shipped to the wrong address. They emailed me the next day saying they would not rectify the problem, and that I would have to pay to get them to do so. I asked for the order to be cancelled, and my money refunded which they refused to do. I filed a BBB complaint today, and have discovered that my experience is very common with Bulkfoods.com. They are callous, unresponsive, unhelpful, and incompetent.
I ordered from this company as a test drive and placed a small order for organic buckwheat which still had not arrived a week and a half later. I had not received any order confirmation email from the company nor any order status email either during this time. Also, when I tried to log into my online account with the company website with the password that I had initially created with the first order, it would not accept my password and when I selected the 'Forgot Password' link for it to be sent to my email, the email with a reset link for the password never arrived - neither in my regular inbox or spam mail inbox.
I finally called into "customer service" at the phone number provided on the site and spoke to Crystal who could not even offer an apology after stating that the order had never been sent to me because they were out of stock - almost two weeks after my order placement. Further, the order was not due to be filled for another week! I explained to Crystal that I had received no email regarding my order from the company at all. Immediately cancelled the order and requested a refund. I stated that I wanted a reference number for the refund as well (given all the absence of confirmation of any transaction with the business at all). She said that the woman that handled the refunds was really busy and would not be able to get to it that day. One thing Crystal did do was send an email to my email account to see if there was any issue with the mail relay and it arrived to my inbox in seconds.
The apathy of this company toward customer satisfaction is obvious - pocket change orders need not apply because you will not get any level of customer service nor barely acknowledgment of any duress their abject laziness and misrepresentation may cost you. Caveat emptor. Buy at your own risk.
I order 2x a year (10 times total) to get vegan stuff for my wife. They have alot of great products and i have never had a problem with anything.
They charged my card twice for the same order and I CAN'T get a RESPONSE! They won't answer the phone or reply to an email!
Answer: Each package has a label that indicates country of origin. Unfortunately, I don't think that information is on the website but it's worth asking them.
Answer: I just received an order (April 2020) and everything I received was very good quality.
