I'm pleased with my order

The only real issue I have is with shipping. I wish you guys would choose another carrier. Fed Ex is not reliable and they just end up passing it off to the post office. I finally got my package after a 3 day delay.

Do not try to return anything, no matter what is wrong with it... Budk customer service is non existent. 3 phone calls to return a item, and nothing ever happens... Will not buy from these people again. Saddest part is the company doesn't care about your business.

I placed an order mid June and it is now nearly the end of July and still have not received any package. On top of that my last package which also took forever to deliver came in a box that looked like a raccoon went through it.

Poorly Made
March 28, 2022

Their smith clearly doesn't know the importance of cleaning metal and properly heat treating it. After just 2 uses on cheap 2x4 the hammer head broke off. You can see the rusted grain within the head where it tore clean off from. That's a very amateur move on their end. I'm a skinny guy and didn't even use half my strength.

They charged me $76 for a product that I never received, then claimed they would refund me. Over a month later, still no refund. Complete scam, avoid if you don't want to literally throw your money away.

The only reason for the 4/5 service is that I never received a tracking email to know when my package was to arrive. I got a promo code for free economy shipping so I guess that's what I get, but I would've liked to have a tracking number emailed to me. Aside from that, the products are better than I expected for the price by far, the packing was quality and professional, and even included a coupon for a future shopping discount. Overall great experience, I will shop again.

Run by zombies

My beautiful Honshu sword came with one of the 2 screws on the handle missing. The sword has 2 screws, and 1 is missing, duh!
I liked the sword, didn't want to make big stink about it, just asked them to send me the missing screw.
That's when BudK started acting like zombie co. They kept insisting that I had to send the sword back for an exchange. A few e-mails and phone calls later I gave up, they'd rather waste everyone's time and their resources on irrational activities, instead of choosing the easiest, cheapest and fastest solution.
Customer disservice, that's what their customer service really is.

1. The site was not working well to order and I was obliged to reiterate 3 times my command, then cancel one of them, etc...
2. The order was then messed up somewhere because I ordered 3 knives with different decoration patterns but Ireceived two of them which were the same...
3. The shipment (however free) took so long to come: about 3 weeks and I thought it will not be arrived by Christmas...

I wanted a new EDC which didn't cost much more than about $10 bucks. This was perfect for my needs. Has a nice clean basic look to it and is very sharp right out of the box. It's my newest favorite little knife!

AWESOME PRODUCTS

I got my son a tomahawk and throwing knives for Christmas. They are awesome! He was thrilled with the high quality of these products. Exactly as described. Looked better in person than online. I would highly recommend BUDK and will definitely be buying again!

After dealing with other website dealers, I have found that BudK has proven to be above the rest. Very responsive customer service, great pricing on great products. Shipping was lightning fast and the whole process is seamless. I highly recommend this company to anyone wanting swords knives and zombie gear.

Be careful, if you don't already collect sharp stuff and survival gear then you will get hooked and start a collection! Great Prices *(you get what you pay for, if you expect very high quality stuff, look at the high end priced stuff). Never had to try to return a damaged or bad quality item yet (knock on wood), so I can't comment much on Customer Service aside from a few minor financial/shipping issues that were settled quickly with satisfaction. I'd really like to know if the negative reviewers tried to reach out to CS about their issues before complaining here.

Excellent Service

I have made 3 purchases from BUDK/Kennesaw this month, 2 Naval Cutlass and 12 kitchen knives (8 don't tread on me knives and 4 fillet knives - they are the same thing in 2 different colors). Each of the 3 orders was mad quickly and I received exactly what I expected. Is the cutlass sharp enough to repel boarders? Hell no! It is a show-piece, not a weapon! But this one is 50 bucks where as the real CPO Navy Cutlass is 450 bucks, without engraving! By the way you guys, why don't you all just print and send one catalogue? Also, only send catalogue with purchase upon request.

Items are perfect.

Items are great. I need to remember to take a ruler when buying stuff so I know the size. The pocket knife was a little smaller than I imagined. I accidentally ordered two of one item. Again my error. It is so nice though that I'm just going to keep it as another gift to give. Everything was packaged nicely and shipped immediately. My husband will be thrilled Christmas morning.

They said say ships within 24-48 business HOURS.
This turns out to mean 3-6 business days before they even ship it, plus another 7-10 more to receive it
This lets you know what kind of company they are. They sound and look good on the surface but that is it.

I received 1/3 of the items I ordered because they were very poorly packaged so they fell out of the box during shipping... Fixing this has been a nightmare.

-So... if you want the stuff for decorations or costumes its pretty good.

-But if you want quality, functional and customer service I would recommend that you keep looking

Picked out some very nice knives for all my workmates at crazy low prices! Really impressed at the quality of most of these knives when they were less than $10.00 a piece! I used to collect fancy knives years ago, so I know the difference between really cheap junk and products that are actually worth owning, and I can give these as gifts with pride knowing they will enjoy these for many years!
