The fine print is a huge reason to avoid this place. The rules for return are strategically designed so that if anything goes wrong you will not be able to return within the refund time limit and you will not be getting your money back. The time period actually starts from the date of the order not when you actually receive and see the diamond. They also refuse to help you shop for alternatives if you try to prepare for the narrow time frame of exchange. If you're comfortable risking your ring budget then it's no big deal. But if you are like me and it is an investment then avoid this fine print trap.

Being a Canadian customer I was very hesitant throughout the whole process. Jennifer had a lot of patience and answered all my questions. I ordered five GIA diamonds and got them to set it in Platinum. It did take four weeks until I got it, however Jennifer assured me if something was wrong with it I could return it even if it's past their one month return policy. I appraised the ring and it all checked out. I love Brilliance and will definitely order from them again.

Recently lost one of the screw backings to my stud earrings purchased from Brilliance back in 2015. I contacted Brilliance to take advantage of the lifetime warranty, and was immediately provided all the necessary documentation and steps for sending in my jewelry to have a new backing made/provided. Called in this week as it has been a few weeks without any update. Turns out I had an old phone number listed on my account and Brilliance had been reaching out to the old number for a weeks! Danielle was super friendly and helpful in updating my phone number, confirming my new address for returning my jewelry to me, and answering some other miscellaneous questions. It honestly felt like I was chatting with an old friend, Danielle was casual and genuine, while remaining completely professional. Building an engagement ring was a simple process through the brilliance website. After my order was placed and payment was received, the ring arrived in 14 days. It was hard to imagine what it would look like in person but the result was far beyond what I imagined. The customer service is superb. Email replies were prompt. The diamond we choose was the exact one provided in the photos and even got a 360' video of the diamond before purchase. That same day you confirmed receiving your engagement ring and inquired about getting an extension on an exchange. You were granted an additional 30 days to exchange the diamond/ring (60 days total) to which you responded “That would be great”. While our return period starts from the time an order is placed, you are incorrect about how much time you had to send back your diamond for an alternative option. Brian, we genuinely care about you and your experience. If you are not completely satisfied with your diamond (even after 6 months), we would love to help you with a new diamond, setting or both.
