Disclaimer: This is my opinion based on my experiences and the experiences of my close friends.
Overpriced Games. Poor investments on Servers and Support. Greedy Microtransactions. Frequent outages. It used to be amazing to play a game from Blizzard. Now, it is nothing but an unpleasant experience. They have taken a long ride on the coat tails of success from World of Warcraft. With Billions of dollars they have made, they still can't provide quality.
World of Warcraft, for example, has been regurgitated so many times. It is STILL the same old game with such minor changes. That, and they want TOP DOLLAR as if they invented and built a new ground breaking game from the ground up. They also want a monthly subscription to play. You finally get convinced to try it again because all of your friends are brainwashed into playing it again. Then, you are met with constant connection issues. They blame it on DDoS attacks. Where is the compensation for downtime? Other games provide it. Even Free to Play games provide compensation for unexpected downtime and disruptive events. Nope. Blizzard will happily keep your full $15 USD per month and not compensate you for any of the time you cannot log in due to problems they could avoid.
Diablo is another example. What was once a fantastic game has just been watered down so much and stripped of what made it so great. Sure, Diablo 3 eventually became decent. But...not initially. And, the Reaper of Souls expansion only brought so much. Not only that, if you wanted to play all the classes, you also had to purchase the final playable class. Did they really need to charge for that? The seasons are fun, but you can fully complete a Season and lose interest in grinding to the fastest GR150 in 2 days. Diablo 4 had it's Beta weekends. During the first closed Beta weekend, Blizzard knew EXACTLY how many people would be playing because you HAD TO PAY for Beta access. Blizzard charged you to test their game to give them valuable feedback to help them finish making it... Then, to use your paid access, you faced constant server problems and horrendously long login queues sometimes over 1-2 hours. How could they not be prepared? IF you did managed to get in and finally play, you could encounter the network issues that plagued the beta and get disconnected only to have to sit in another 1-2 hour queue. The game seems ok, but I don't feel it is amazing enough to warrant the $80 it cost.
Diablo Immortal - GREED. How is this game even legal? Blizzard has siphoned millions from this horrendous Pay to Win model. You literally cannot succeed fully in this game unless you pay a lot of real hard earned cash. Sure...there are other P2W games out there, but none as bad as this. This model is just morally wrong. How greedy is this company?
Have an issue with a Blizzard game? Good luck getting decent support. You are better off looking in ANY other forum than Battle.net or YouTube to find the best solution.
This company caters to the streamers and does not care for any of the other consumers. Terrible company. Terrible moral values.
I don't trust this company.

Don't Make the Same Mistake We Did By Using Blizzard To Supply Broadband.
We Had Intermittent Issues With Our Broadband We Had Replaced Filters Router Etc They Always Say We Can Find A Problem We Will Have To Send Out A BT Engineer If They Had Sent One A Few Weeks Ago They Will Not Do Any Thing Else. In The First Year They Sent BT Out 3 Times.
The First Time They Found Issues In The BT Cabinet.
The Second Time They Replaced The BT Master
Socket
The Third Time They Could Not Find Any Issues The BT Engineer Also Check A Laptop On Site And The Router And Confirmed It Was Not Our Equipment.
When I Phone Blizzard They Confirmed The Fault Was At The Exchange.
A Few Weeks Latter We Were Invoiced For BT Call Out We Were Told That Was Because They Could Not Find A Fault Onsite But We Told Blizzard The Fault Was Not Onsite But They Insisted ON Sending A BT Engineer Out. Mr Rigg Said He Would Get A Refund From BT We Called Several Times 6 Moths We Were Still Waiting, One Year Latter We Were Still Waiting 18 Months Latter He Said Its To Late Now. At The End Of Our 2 Year Contract We Moved To Another Supply Its Been Ok Since Then They Replaced The Cable From The Telegraph Pole Blizzard Would Not Do This. I Called A Few Weeks Ago And I Was Told They Had Received A Refund From BT And The Money Would Be In Our Account In A Couple Of Days As It Was Not I Emailed Mr Rigg He Now Claims BT Were Justified In Charging AS It Was Equipment At Fault. This is Theft The Office Confirmed They Received A Refund, When Asked Mr Rigg To Say What Was Faulty No Reply To Date. At The Same Time We Also Transferred One Of Our Customers As A Test It's a Good Job We Only Transferred One As A Test Case. What Blizzard Do Is They Get Your Customers To Set Up A Standing Order Direct To Them Then They Pay Commission. We Signed A Contract Which Does Not Expire Until Oct 2022. We Had A New Supplier From Oct 2020 And had Paid All Outstanding Invoices But We Were Still Charged In April 2021 For Services Not Supplied This Is Fraud
In April Rigg Decided He Did Not Like The Current Contract And Offered A New Contract. This In Itself Is A Breach Of Contract Neither Party Can Cancel Just Because It No Longer Suits Them. WE Did Not Sign It Was Only When We Checked Our Bank Statements To Find Payments Have Not Been Made Mr Rigg Claims He Cancelled The Contract Which A) is A Breach Of Contract, B) He Does Not Mention He Is Trying To Cancel The Contract. According To Companies House Records Mr Jones Is The Operation Director When First Called Him He Was Not Around I Called Again A Week Later He Was Still Not Around. I Wrote Him A Letter But He Could Not Be Bothered To Reply Mr Rigg Sent An Email Saying He Is Semi Retired And He Is Now dealing With The Issue. Previously Blizzard Was Invoicing Our Customer With Our Headed Paper Now They Are Invoicing On Blizzard Headed Paper He Said Clause 13b Allows Them To Terminate The Contract And Walk Away With Our Customers. We Have Spoken To Our Solicitors They Say Blizzard Are In Breach Of Contract And We Can Sue For The Value Of The Contract Which runs Until Oct 2022 We Shalll Do This. What A Bunch Of Cowboys Who Writes This In A Contract We Can Steal Your Customers When We Feal Like It.
I have been playing Blizzard's game Heroes of the Storm since the day of the game's Alpha launch. This was around 4/2015. Around 5/2021, I was permanently banned and an account valued at well over $1000 is no longer accessible to me.
I have been reported numerous times for abusive chat. And this is completely understandable as I have been silenced on multiple occasions for it. Understandably. I have a bit of an issue with expressing my irritability verbally and pressuring people to play correctly.
In many cases, however, it was not a matter of straight up crude vulgarity. Although early in the game's life it certainly was, over the years I matured a bit and stuck to more specific claims of other player's performance. Addressing such issues play by play, as many neurotic players do.
- My biggest argument is that if Blizzard's matchmaking service was effective, then there would be less frustration displayed by players of their teammates in games. Blizzard, as do all other competitive games developers, provide players with a mute/block button. It is the thin skinned player's responsibility to use such features.
- My secondary argument is that if blizzard cannot create a perfect match making system, then Blizzard cannot expect perfect player conduct. To expect either is irrational.
- My third argument is that players should not be permanently banned for conduct. Perhaps silenced for a year, perhaps temporarily banned for a year after so many cases. But mental issues are a thing and they are widely possessed in many forms by gamers. Some are offensive, and some are fragile. It is no place of a developer of any sort of software to try and dictate the behaviors of it's users using outright banning of an account as the consequence of not upholding said predefined behaviors.
- My final argument has to do with a game's lifespan. If a player displays toxic behavior, be it outright vulgarity or simply the revealing to other players of their individual faults, it is likely that behavior is not going to suddenly disappear. It likely may become toned down over time, especially after numerous and increasing chat restriction penalties, but it is unlikely that it will fully disappear. So the longer the game is up, the chance of the company eventually banning the player increases drematically year by year.
Blizzard and other game's developers should be legally restricted to a year-by-year rule where you can impose a penalty for the remainder of an annual cycle that restricts them (up to completely) from a game due to conduct, but never indefinitely - at the very least without a complete and total refund of that player's money. And offenses cannot be gray areas. Threats of violence, for example, would be a zero-tolerance example of how a player could be outright banned and refunded their purchases. But disrespect should never be considered a bannable offense, especially considering that in society disrespect is sometimes endearing and a, perhaps poor, desire to help improve the overall player-base's ability to perform, or weed out those who refuse to improve. Thereby improving the efficacy of the matchmaking system and in turn reducing the degree of toxic behaviors in individual matches.
Lastly, this genre of game, specifically. One that originated as a mod on another of Blizzard's games, Warcraft III, is riddled with toxicity. It always has been. And it is toxic players of this genre that ultimately lead to the genre becoming independent of the mod it originated on.
Unless you are a perfectly behaved little angel, do not use this company's products. They will, in the end, steal all your money from you.
I have been trying to log in into my account for 56 MUNITES pls dont verification when logging in pls i wanted to play overwatch but i need to login and my account needs to be verified like what i want to play a game plsssssssssssssssssss i want to play overwatch if not well im never ever gonna download this app forever
First of all., Please do not get me wrong. This is not a review of Diablo II. Diablo II in my opinion is probably one of the best games ever released, and I still play it today. What this review is about is Blizzards' lack of customer service.
You would think if a company was going to restrict your IP address, they would let you know and let you know for what reason. They would also let you know how long the restriction would be in place. Before I go on let me post the contents of an email I received from Blizzard, only after I submitted a trouble ticket about not being able to logon.

Dear George,
Issue ID: #*******
Your ticket has received the following response:
Greeting George,
Your connection has been temporarily restricted from Battle.net. This restriction is realm-specific and can last up to 2 weeks.
It can happen for any of the following reasons:
- Using an invalid CD key
- Rapidly connecting and disconnecting to Battle.net
- Creating or joining numerous games within a short time period such as "Magic finding" or "Baal runs"
- By the use of "add-on programs"
- Chat channel abuse
- Failed login attempts
- In game latency caused by excessive spell effects
These restrictions can be manually applied by a Battle.net Support Administrator or automatically applied by Battle.net for a variety of reasons. Some common causes are attempting to connect to Battle.net using an invalid CD-Key and misconduct in-game or abuse of Battle.net chat channels.
Unfortunately due to technical limitations, we are unable to see the exact reasons these restrictions were applied. We are also unable to lift or overturn these restrictions for any reason.
Click here to review and resolve your ticket. If you continue to experience issues, you can respond to your ticket with additional information.
If you do not resolve the ticket or provide an additional response within one week, we will resolve the ticket automatically and you'll receive a final update via email.
Regards,
Blizzard Support

Lets look at this email. It really Is sort of funny.
First they tell me my connection to battle.net has been restricted. No reason why, just that It has been. Then they follow up with a few reasons this could happen. These are even funnier.
Using an invalid cd key. I only ever used the one they gave me.
Rapidly connecting and disconnecting to batlle.net HUH?
I am not going to go over each one, but casting too many spells can get you restricted.
Now, keep in mind they cannot tell you which of any of these reasons you were guilty of.
This is not the way a good company treats their customers who support their efforts to keep their games online. I paid them $77 every six months for a game that I did not even play. Well, that got stopped. I believe all this happened, it has happened to other players as well, because they have moved their premier game onto the battle.net servers which are already bulging at the seams.
So goodbye Blizzard.
Warcraft is a great strategy game, which now is turned into a money milking MMORPG with a title World Of Warcraft. They ask you to pay 40-60$ for World Of Warcraft game and it's expansions and then they ask you to pay additionally about 10$ every month, if you wish to play it. What? In that case for what I have to pay those 40-60$? Just to have it? Some will say server maintenance costs and salaries to those, who worked on this game, are the reason why there is now subscription, but it's just an excuse to milk money. There are so many people, who buys also those pets and everything else, what is in the WoW store for real money. I think that can cover all costs, but they still won't remove subscription because, like I said, Blizzard is a greedy money milking machine. Another reason why they won't remove subscription from WoW is because Blizzard has realized how many stupid people are supporting this kind of a greediness, because they don't realize they are just a dollar sign to Blizzard And with Starcraft things aren't better. If all those CO-OP commanders already doesn't cost as much as the game itself, when it was released, then they are reaching such price. Of course you can play CO-OP without those commanders, because game gives you few other commanders for free, but still! This is shameless greediness in highest form, because CO-OP commanders are even smaller part than stuff gamers knows as DLC, which usually costs a half of game's original price. This company isn't just greedy, it's also sick, because if you will be forced to leave Overwatch match in the middle of it even once, despite that it wasn't your fault you lost electricity or Blizzard's servers glitched, Overwatch admins (or whatever they are) are going to penalize you for that! All I can say for that is get a life you sick Blizzard's idiots, because this is not normal to punish people just because they once left a match in the middle of it. If people constantly every day leaves a match, then punishing them would be a right thing! I guess it's just a matter of time when you might actually get a ban for leaving a match just once, because of an urgent situation at your home or any other understandable reason, which wasn't your fault that it happened. If things won't improve, then games like Overwatch will be the last thing I've bought from them.
