Great service response!

A big shout out to Larry in the service group. My daughter's bike arrived last September but she only rode it a couple times before school went fully remote. When she started riding again yesterday (schools are back, thankfully), a part of the brake became disassembled and some of the adjustment bushings were lost. Larry sent me a new assembly. It's a nice bike and the kiddo can't wait to get back on it this spring.

The bike out or it was exactly what I expected. The shipping said 3 to 7 business days and it came in three. Had to email the company twice and I got super quick responses from Larry who is very helpful. Can't say anything negative about my experience.

Absolutely rock bottom price for exact same components. Remember its apples to apples!

Tried to assembly myself got stuck. Chain too long derailler is complicated. Pay the $100 to local bike shop and start riding! Fast shipping ordered Saturday came Thursday. Texas to NJ. Owner of bike shop asked price and said he could not get no where near that! He is A Giant shop.

Excellent Customer Service.

I'm very happy with the service Larry@ BikesDirect has provided after the purchase of my Big Wake 29" BMX. The freewheel was crackling and making an annoying grinding noise. I sent a few photos with a short video clip and Larry determined that the issue was likely the bearings. He shipped me a new wheel along with a return shipping label to ship the defective wheel back. This all happened very quickly all while Larry and BikesDirect were in the path of then cleaning up after a hurricane. I like the bike too, simple, light and cool.

Great value and service
November 19, 2017

I was a bit apprehensive about BikesDirect at first, but decided to take a leap of faith - and I'm very glad I did. I now have purchased two bikes from them, and will not hesitate to do so again. You will not find better value for your money anywhere else.

Plus, I had a service question and sent an email. I had an answer within an hour, with more tips and a link to a helpful video. Thanks, Larry! You made me even happier with my decision.

Got my bike pretty quick (5 days) but the fork was damaged beyond usability in shipping by Fed EX. I was frankly jaded from other companies that sell goods at a discount and was expecting everything to turn into a hassle based on experience. Larry got back to my email in three hours (fast IMHO) and asked if I wanted a new bike or if a replacement fork was OK. I'm handy so I went for the fork. He got a new one sorted out the same day and sightly better cause my *exact* one wasn't available. I got the package today and found an engraved flask inside as well! I got the new one installed, tweaked and adjusted a few things and hit the trail, hard. My new friend took a New England woods beating in stride.

I'm sending my workout buddies your way to get bikes that can keep up with me in the woods now that I've upgraded.

Great! I was skeptical based on the price, but it all turned out well. UPS even damaged the front tire, and after sending pics, bikesdirect sent new hires. Fantastic to do business with. I have already recommended to others and won't hesitate to buy from bikesdirect again.

I purchased a Fantom29 on sale for $299 for my son for xmas. Most excellent bang for buck. I assembled today with a set of allen keys and a wrench. I am not handy, and it still took less than an hour and everything works perfectly: gears change, brakes don't bind, etc.

I'm super impressed, good job!

I recently bought a full suspension mountain bike from Bikesdirect.com. The bicycle I ordered arrived in excellent condition and very promptly. Highly Recommend

I've bought 6 different bikes from BikesDirect. Road, Hybrid and comfort bikes. Ive also suggested them to several friends. EVERY bike has been an excellent bike for the money, and shipping is lightening fast. If you are just a little handy with tools, there are great assembly videos on YouTube that will help you fine tune your assembly for more advanced bikes. If you need a little help, your local bike shop will assemble and tune for 40-80 bucks. Either way... you will get a lot more bike for the money.
Note that they are low a overhead M-F business. It may take a bit of time for them to return your voice mail or respond to your email, but that is part of what keeps the price down. If you need more hands on service, there is nothing wrong with going to a LBS.

I have purchased 2 bikes from bikesdirect. Both were excellent deals. You have to setup the bike when it arrives; but that only takes about 30 minutes. Well worth it when you save hundreds of dollars off buying in a bike shop.

Bought a bike for my daughter for Christmas and when I came to put it together a few days ago I found the front wheel would not fit between the front forks as the locking bolts stopped it from dropping in. I rant customer service and after automatically being cut off around 6 times I eventually got into a queue which took around 20 minutes to reach the front of. The lady then very apologetically put me through to a department that may be able to help. This was also an automated answer line that eventually cut me off. I rang customer service once again and repeated the above steps and quite incredibly got through to the same person! They let me know that someone would pick up the bike on Wednesday (today) and they would sent me an email relating to this. No email - no collection. I'm left with a bike that doesn't work and £90 down. As you can imagine I'm not looking forward to Christmas Day

Good quality bikes good price fast shipping. I bought two bikes and they fit me perfectly. First one got stolen. Never had to contact their customer support so no comment on that. One suggestion is to include a way to review each bike like Amazon. This is my go to place for bikes.

The bike seemed like a good deal. The third time our son rode the bike, a part broke loose and caused my son to fly over the handle bars. Thankfully he was not seriously injured and there was no damage to the bike from the crash. Response from customer service at bikes direct included "sorry to hear that you broke your bike," rather than any useful assistance with the manufacturer's warranty. The bike is now at a local repair shop and we're anticipating a $200 plus repair bill. This bike was not a good deal after all.

I bought a Gravity Bullseye Monster from BD. I ordered it over the July 4th weekend and it arrived on Thursday the third. Right out of the box my bike worked perfectly. No complaints here. A lot of bike for the money. Equal to other 'entry level' Fat Bikes at $1300 to $1400. I Use my bike daily for improving my health. I have lost 20 pounds so far riding this monster. I would recommend Bikesdirect. Com to anyone looking for a quality bike at decent prices.

Superior Service
August 10, 2019

I purchased a Windsor Wellington 2.0. Ordered on Saturday night and had it on Wed. Morning, which was great. Beautiful bike packed to perfection, everything in great shape. I noticed my bike did not have the brakes advertised and this is where it becomes superior service. Larry, a Bikes Direct rep got my really not nice email and answered me in only about an hour and offered brakes I wanted which he did not have to do. He was so kind I felt bad. I can't say enough about Bikes Direct. They are the best! Got brakes in just a few days Priority Mail.

We had a great experience with BikesDirect. We bought two Windsor Tourists and used them to cycle down the Pacific coast. They were very reasonably priced, pretty easy to assemble and came super fast. The bikes have been very reliable and have made it the whole trip without any issues relevant to their construction.
With regards to an accidental over payment issue they were very understanding in their response and refunded the money without hassle. I would use them again.

My first bike online

I bought a New Fuji SL 3.2 and received my bike in no time. I had a problem with one of the tires and called and everyone involved was very helpful. Larry in the service department was amazing to work with! Would definitely buy from Bikes direct again. Have nothing bad to say about this company at all. Great bike at a great price with great service! What more could you ask for?
