Not finished yet. I haven't seen much results. On the directions, I'm not sure exactly if I just slide the button up or down, or do I have to push it down too. Since I can't hear it I don't know if it is working. The flash light part is working, so I know the battery is in properly.
I tried it she just smelled it. Then someone knocked on my door, she started her loud barking. I grabbed my new gadget and pressed on the button. First she continued to bark at it, when I didn't stop she laid on the couch and just stared. Now I just hold in my hand and she stops! I love it
I recently bought the bar buddy & am happy with it. However, my dog reacts severely when the light is on, & I can't seem to turn the light off. Is this a defect in my unit? How can I turn the light off?
I called company about my barxbuddy and told them it stopped working they told me it's beyond 30 days nothing they can do. I only had it for 5-6 weeks and it took 6 weeks to receive it. This is a terrible way to do business that's why I try not to buy online.
I only had it for ten minutes and I couldn't wait to try it when someone came to the door and my dog started barking. I tried it on my dog and she stopped barking immediately and sat right down. Works perfect!
So far not impressed and will probably return, IF it doesn't do what is suppose to. I am not impresses thus far with the results and will try a little longer to see if it will do what it is supposed to.

After I placed my order, they emailed me and told me that it wound't be shipped for 15-20 days. I called them back a few days later to cancel and they said I couldn't cancel after one day of the order. I ordered it Nov 9,2019 and today is Nov 27 and it still hasn't been shipped. Their customer service department is apparently an outsource as the number to call is not an area code for the business location.
The Battery was difficult to connect. Closing the outside of the device has been impossible for me, I am keeping it closed with tape.
I do believe it is having an effect on my very "barky" bijon frize puppy. I am hopeful, nothing else has worked.
The battery that was sent with the product was very hard to install. I used the product for 5 days but according to the directions i was unable to get close enough to the dog to nudge them away from the fence. I could not tell a response from pressing the button. I do not feel like this product fits my needs and would like to return it.
It's been fine. I received the product on time. I am just not happy with the price. I thought I was getting some elaborate toy for that price it's no different than a lot of the other toys on the market for half the price at least half the price.
I purchased a BarxBuddy. I have a small dog and he barks continually He barks at everything that moves and everything that doesn't move. I thought this would be a life changing item. I got the thing and tried using it over and over. It never worked even once I had to get my money back or put a dispute on my card. They refunded my money but didn't even want the piece of junk back. I will gladly sell it to someone for $2.00.
Well let me tell you yes it is my dog broke it in the first 10 minutes he had it i have two english bulldog and they are pretty laded back dogs he brakes it right where you tighten it to put it together it is not worth the money 39.99 and i got 2 of them so 80.00 is not worth the money

After receiving our Barx Buddy and understanding how it works the first few "bark ques" were a big success! I / we were pleasantly surprised! We have a beautiful Aussie who knows her place but knows what she can get away with. Most barking outbreaks are a plus which alerts us of unwanted personnel but every noise is extremely irritating! This gives us an opportunity to curb the loud unwanted eruptions! So far this device is just what the doctor ordered but like many super smart breeds we will se if this lasts or if she finds her way around it! But as of now, so far so good. Thanks Barx Buddy (at least so far! 🤪)

I have a 7 month old yorkie pup that is a yapper. I was very skeptical about barx buddy. My cousin highly recommended it. I have to say my husband and I are shocked at how well our baby responded almost immediately. It's a miracle. We finally have hope that he'll fit into our home and lifestyle.
I ordered the Barkbuddy 7 weeks ago and it still hasn't arrived, when I emailed I was told the long delivery was due to the Corona virus, its a joke because other riders from amazon usually comes within a week. Finally got a shipping and It has only been sent today! I wouldn't order from them again
Easy ordering and quick delivery but instructions and description came up short. I went back to the web site that offered better info but I have 2 unanswered issues: why does it make an audible clicking sound when I press the "on" button (makes me question if the dog is responding to the click or supposed ultrasonic sound), and the instructions makes it seem you can operate it with and without the lights. Instruction sheet says "let go of the sound AND light buttonS". The item has the ON button and separate word saying LIGHT but no separate button.(Instructions did not state what the I and II meant but I found it on the web site.
I was a little skeptical about the claim that the ball was fairly chew proof but I ordered it anyway. I was expecting it to be made of hard rubber and it is very hard plastic. Because it is round and about the size of a tennis ball, I can see that this ball really would stand up to my 50 pound wirehaired pointing griffon. However, because it is hard plastic, he doesn't even give it a glance. I have rolled it in front of him, into him, and all around him. Nothing. He loves to chase balls thrown for him outside, but this one doesn't interest him.
I hate to try to buy something and then keep getting sidetracked by offers for other things.
I have 2 dogs, an 80 pound shepherd corgi mix and a 25 pound dachshund corgi mix. They are both extreme barkers and it's embarrassing when we have company. I finally decided to try the Barx Buddy because I felt it was cruel to zap them. I can honestly say I had over a bunch of people for my daughter's bachelorette party and they started barking. I did it once and said "NO" and they stopped. They did it two more times and I repeated the "NO" response. After that they didn't bark the entire evening. I couldn't believe it! My daughter was shocked too! It truly works, no joking! It's worth it to me. It's nice having company without the embarrassment of having the dogs barking constantly!
So in as much as the BarxBuddy ( sitejabber comments) indicate they are wondering what I have to say about everything and rate them, here is my reply. Given my order was placed and paid for back in November, it is now December 5th, with no deliver being made to my address, and that is causing me to be concerned as to whether I have been ripped off, and so I am only giving the business a two star rating! Until they get around to either send me the product that I ordered and paid for or else a response from their system explaining what the heck is the matter. My regards Gord Parker
