I don't even know where to begin! This is such an amazing site & company & idea! I love how there are so many options to choose from and that the prices are so reasonable. I feel like a kid in a candy store! The process was so smooth and the representatives are so amazing! I got my purse and it was just as beautiful as the photos! I'm so excited an happy I found Bag Borrow Steal. I even plan to get my mom some of her dream bags after my trail period! I know she will be just as Happy and Astonished as I am!
This was my first time borrowing a luxury bag from BBOS. The process was streamlined, the platform is very easy to navigate and I was able to track my package. Thankfully I happened to be home when it arrived, I was worried about possibly having to pick it up at UPS if I missed the delivery. The bag was packaged nicely with clear instructions. I did take some photos (kind of like when you rent a car) but the bag is gorgeous and still has that new leather scent.
Love the bag. Came on time. Clean, well taken care of. Exactly what i wanted. Unsure how to return and when. I rented it for 1 month but no clear instructions in the box about how to return when month concludes

But the bag was kinda scuffed upon arrival and was NOT perfect so to speak.
I would have thought maybe a leather cleaner or buff and polish would be done between rentals but perhaps not. I will still use the clutch for a wedding I planned for, but I'm not sure it's worth the $100 rental fee for one night of use.
Bought my purse "gently used". Pictures showed every scratch, stain, and any imperfections. When purse arrived, it looked way better in person then in pictures! I honestly couldn't believe it was the same purse! No buyers remorse and I will definitely be buying from here again!
It was great and easy. Everything was easily available and within reach. I wished they have a section on the website for borrowing a bag that had all in stock bags & I can refine with what's in stock and out of stock
May 21,2016 I ordered a Burberry bag online with 20% discount. Two days before delivery date I received an email saying they had 'questions about my account' and to call the 1-888 number. I called it twice and left v/m. They cancelled the order but the money has NOT been returned. Now the bag is twice the price.
How do I get my money back? This site is horrible. And there is no one ALIVE to talk to there.
I bought from them 2 years ago and it was a totally different experience. It's gone downhill. BUYER BEWARE.
I tried to borrow 3 different bags to give it a try. Not one came. You can NEVER reach anyone or no one ever calls back from customer service. They have no follow through. It's worth it to just buy a bag hassle free through a designer than this company. Worst experience ever!
My sister ordered a purse that she saw on their website and was sent a totally different and much cheaper purse in its place! She contacted the company and they advised her that the purse that she ordered had been sent to someone else! They did not even care to allow her to select a purse of equal value!
I would NEVER buy from this company! Who ever heard of a website switching out the item that you ordered with something completely different?!
If you order from them you never know what you will be getting!
For the price of the rental, I would expect this bag to be in better condition. You can tell it has been refurbished many times. The inside was dirty, and the corners were worn out with scuffs and jean transfer. The hardware is faded too..
I sent in photos of my Louis Vuitton to sell it to BBS. They sent me a quote. I sent in my bag placing it in a dust bag and then into a plastic bag surrounded by tissue paper. They rejected my bag. That's fine but when it was returned it was placed in a box with the dust bag in the bag with a small piece of bubble wrap on the top. And my bag now has a chemical smell which I am hoping fades. Very poor handling. I sell on Poshmark and on Facebook and I pack a $10 item better than this. I suggest steering clear of selling to them.
I sent my bag to this place so I can get money in return. They offered me $210 for a Louis Vuitton bag I had that was well used. I sent it and then I got a email saying they weren't keeping it because it looked nothing like the pictures when I sent pictures of it. I was super descriptive on there flaws. Anyways I went ahead and waited for my bag but then they PUT THE WRONG ADDRESS. Took me so long to finally receive my bag. The. Upon receiving it, my bag came back more damaged than it was before! I am so upset! Now it's even harder to resell with a damaged strap! Please stay away they are horrible at customer service and will ruin your items if they don't accept them!
The bag I borrowed was in poor condition cleaned so well that it was discolored overall bad bag.

I am pleased with the condition of the bag, except for one thing it does have a slight perfume odor. It's not bothersome, but I would've preferred that I didn't have this smell. The only other problem I had was with the delivery. The delivery notification said that signature was required, but they left the package at my door without even ringing the doorbell. This is concerning because there are a lot of package thefts in my neighborhood. Other than this, I am pleased with the service and product and would rent from you again.
I received the bag with a tag inside saying don't mind tiny scratch. However, the bag was boxed in a tiny shipping box that barely fitted the bag. For a designer bag, I expected it to come with a cover box with a shipping box on top of that.
Sent my Marc Jacobs bag in "was just trying them for the first time" sent it in the Marc Jacobs box to be sold. The box I got with the bag when I brought the it…and they sent it back with a story about how they serial numbers where unidentified and then sent it back in the dust bag…when I emailed them about the issue they denied receiving it in a box and sent pictures of how they sent it out saying that's how they received it, when I emailed them pictures of how I sent it.with the box, and they stopped responding. They basically took my box and just sent the bag back! Never again they're thieves
In my opinion, save your money for a few months and buy the bag yourself. I hardly carried my bag as I was worried I would stain it and would have to buy it anyway! Not worth the money, horrible customer service. Here's a tip for them: add optional insurance when people borrow!
I could never get myself to justify spending 4 figures on a purse, but I can justify a few hundred a month for whatever purse strikes my fancy at any given time. Process was fun and easy and I am enjoying the purse.
My best friend rented a LV Monogram handbag to take on a cruise in July. The bag was filthy when she got it and she was unable to have it cleaned for fear of any damage or change being made to it. The didn't even bother to clean it prior to mailing it out. Don't rent from these people. She returned the bag and got no refund.
