I signed up for a new account replacing cable and internet. The rep advised I would get a $200 credit for a new account. Instead they offered me other services which I didn't want. After complaining to lower management with no results. I mailed a complaint to Executive management. I sent certified to the Dallas corporate office. It was received. I never even got the courtesy of a reply. Don't try to call. You'll just get bounced from one person to another! I'm probably going to find a carrier who does whet they promise!
AT&T should be ashamed! I've had such a bad experience the last 2 weeks! Ordered a new phone. It was damaged and needed to be returned. I had to order another one and pay twice and wait for a refund... I never revived any return shipping label with my replacement phone! I've called 4 times and each time it's a surprise to them that I'm calling! Each time AT&T says" I'm going to look into this and I'll call you back" BS! I've never once did get a call back to fix my problem! AT&T got my money twice and now they would take fix there end! I'll be filing a BBQ complaint and checking with a lawyer on this scam! It's sad that I have to jump thru hoops and make complaints to get what's right! Shame on AT&T for you non customer service! Instead of paying for one phone it looks like I paid for two! Merry Christmas I've been cheated.
Called AT&T to set up a land line for my 87 year old mother. After 1.5 hours the gal from another country told me the line would be live in 5 days. 10 days later still no phone line. Called again and 45 minutes later still on hold. Wish there was competition
So our family decided to go with At&t because we needed wifi calling and we didn't have that with our provider. So ever since our bill has been up and down! My husband and I had turned in phones so they were suppose to take 10.00 each month, we'll they took mine away... not sure why my 36 months are not up! The other BIG one is charging us for Free phones... I got the Cyber Monday deal 2021 last year and they have been charging me for "FREE PHONES "! I called spent well over 2 hrs on the phone with them. I thought is was taken care of had a big credit and the cost finally showed up as a credit... But it doesn't end there just got a bill 7/14/22 and they took the credit off of one of the phones! So then my mother in law needed a new phone so they had a special 2.00 for a samsung 136u so they credit us 4.95... so now that stopped So now I have to call them again and explain everything! This is RIDICULOUS! Photo shows only 2 credits when there should be 5
Worst experience ever. Don't use them. Switched from contract to prepaid due to being constantly over charged, lied to and being screwed over. Called to try and get reimbursed for their screw up I got redirected, Transferred and hung up on multiple times. I've never been so angry as I am. Do not use this company unless you have no other choice. They will screw you over every chance they get.
I got charged on my credit card for an account that has been closed for over 5 months and I called to dispute and they had me on a call for almost an hour talking to 4 to 5 person saying the same thing and no one knows how to solve this problem. It is not rocket science!
They have the worst type of customer service set up and what a horrible experience for anyone trying to get any help!

They will lie to you just to make a sale then do the opposite. The took a functional phone 4 months later says it won't turn on. Now I'm forced to pay over thousand dollars for a phone that I didn't need on a buy back promotion. No one is trying to make it right. I've been with them since sun TV was in business. I will be dropping them for poor customer service, lies,and deceit.
On 8/27/21 out neighbor decided to add internet. The att box was in our yard. When hooking it up the tech cut our service. My son is home on leave after year long deployment. He just wants to play online video games. My wife went and told the tech who was still next door. He said he didn't do anything and left. Now they can't get back until next week to repair it. My sons leave will be over. When it told att this, they don't seem to care. I guess they don't care much about the military. Switching service as soon as possible.
I have liked my actual phone service, however customer service is so bad if I could give them 0 stars I would. I don't know if they need more training but I called and and they messed up my whole account when I just wanted to upgrade. Then my bills changes the next day to $100 more. They start adding all sorts of charges that don't make sense. Avoid getting AT&T at all costs. They do not give a crap about their customers..
Be prepared to be on hold for at least an hour and a half and then still basically get no help. If you're an elderly person, forget it! They hope you'll just get frustrated and write the check. Stay as far away from them as you possibly can.
Worst company I have EVER dealt with. There has been a hole dug in my yard for over 2 weeks with exposed wires. I have called and spoken to at least 30 people about the damage and potential safety hazard. No one has come to fix it or called to let me know when it will be fixed. I have been told several times the situation was escalated, but nothing is ever done.
I won't using this service provider again. I don't recommend it to anyone wireless is slow. Their fee higher than other.Over charge. They liar to get you sign up. Then you stuck with the plan. Be careful. Thank you
Well... if you pay off a piece of hardware... like a phone,. As I did and then request said phone to be unlocked. Well better have your Presidential letter handy. After 2.5 hours the still will not unlock my personal property. I paid this off, its mine. I get it they own the service, not the phone. I've been a customer for over 15 years, not any longer. I don't care who u go with it will not be AT&T any longer.
At&t is nothing but a bunch of rip off bastards I've been dealing with them for over 5 yrs now every promotion they have they lie about it they've been charging me for a basically new phone I traded in they give me 350 instead of the 800 they advertised this time they also have the done me wrong on several other promotions I'm thinking about getting a lawyer to sue for false advertisement. This thing made me give a rating it's making me give at least 1 star at&t doesn't deserve that I would give them a 00.
DO NOT GO WITH AT&T They are big time scammers, they take 2 hours to answer their phone or don't answer at all, their online chat is a joke, they only will speak to you if you want a new plan, and are very rude, every agent is completely stupid! They tell you one thing and lie! I accidently made a payment from my bank to them that was suppose to go to the company below, my bank said they would refund it in 2 days. At&t after 2 hours of holding, said I would receive a check in 3 days, a week later I called because no check, they then said oh you will get it by Thursday, 2 weeks later still nothing, called again on hold for hours. Then was told oh it will take 2 months to get that, stupid me I should have let my bank dispute it in 2 days. The agents are so incompetent there they all need fired. I quit their services 6 months ago because of this, and they raise their prices every month also. Go with google fiber. 9 years and they never raised a price.
I am writing this review about the service I received today. My services were suspended and there was no other option to restore my service for one day until I was able to make the payment. I have been a customer well over 15 years and advised the rep that my 16-year-old was home babysitting her siblings. Still nothing. So now I have to wait until I get home after 5 to communicate with my children. ATT is ridiculous with their high prices and piss poor service. I am outraged that nothing could be done but give me an I'm sorry excuse.
I have had the worst customer experience with AT&T and their claims department. I went without a phone for a week spent hours on the phone going back & forth between the two. Was sent two phone by their mistake and then sent a down grade. I was told can't wave the deductible fee and I will continue to pay for an iPhone 12 even though they sent me a 11. I pay over $300 month never been late on a bill but as soon as I pay these devices off with be looking for a new company that knows how to treat customer right and fix their wrongs. This is completely taking advantage of people who pay our hard earned money to do business with them.
Was having trouble connecting my television with the wireless equipment. Called in April and customer service sent out a technician to solve the problem as a customer got 30 something years I was unaware there was going to be a charge of 105 dollar. I'm laid off from work during the Pandemic. And Att decides to take advantage of their customers at this time
Very disappointed that I moved to this network. I would conclude that less cell tower compared to their competitors in our area. I had not encountered a full bars. The most I can get is two bars. I wonder why! When I drove to visit my friends house, there was no signal. If you're in am emergency to call your love ones, you cannot rely to use AT&T. My regret is porting my line and I should stayed with my previous network.
I could be in the middle of the city and still get horrible service. I have to constantly walk around to find a good spot for service no matter where I'm at. I would standing next to somebody who is having no issues with phone calls or internet while I can't get either. AT&T has gone down hill dramatically in the last few years.

Customer service is horrible, their service in general is horrible, and they don't offer anything I can't get at any other competitors store.
