Very Disappointed!
February 4, 2021

I ordered for the first time a skirt and jacket. I liked them but the skirt was too big so I returned it. I never received any confirmation concerning them receiving the skirt and them refunding me the money. I really did not want to order the skirt and jacket because the quality of their items appeared to have been of no quality. I tried it and to my surprise, the outfit was cute but they lost me with the customer service. I am truly done with this company.

Sloppy order handleing

I purchased my order. Paid extra for shipping for my trip. Order comes 4 days before my trip. Great! Problem is it wasn't my order. My order was over $300. They won't ship out another order. They will only refund my order but not until they get the wrong order back. Oh but they can go ahead and place another order for me. So then they will have over $600 from me. Have they seen the price of gas. The return policy needs to be updated now. I've shopped with AS for years. This is the worst..

I placed my order 6 days in advance of when I needed it. The day before I left for my trip I was waiting for my package to come in the mail and it never came. I paid extra to have It ship in 2-3 days. When I called the customer service the package had not been shipped.

I, like many - was intrigued by the cute styles on their website. However - I have found you never know what size to buy with AS. I wear and 18/20 with LB, Torrid, and Avenue but with AS I just never know. I have size 22's from there that I cannot pull past my knees. I'm not sure what is going on there but I will not shop here again.

Coat is falling apart!

I ordered a coat, it was too big. I gave it to my twin sister because I didn't want to pay $10 to return it. I ordered another coat in my size. Both of our coats are literally falling apart! The metal clasp around the waist string have fallen off and we had to super glue them back on. I have a hole in my pocket. I also have a hole under both of the arms of my coat. These coats are literally falling apart and were clearly poorly made!

RIP OFF

I order from A. S and was sent the wrong item and invoice belonging to another customer. And i was told I can't get my money back until they receive notification that the package i received was on it's way back. Not They have the item and I still don't have the item or my money and they still. Giving me the run around.

DO NOT SHOP HERE! EVER!

I just want to say I am only leaving a review because I really really want to warn people from buying from this company. I bought a dress that was originally $69, and got it on sale for $34. When I received the dress it so cheaply made, see through, and scratchy. It was HORRID. Decided to return the dress and called to see what the price of my return would be since I saw something that stated it would be $8 to return. I really did not anticipate returning the item or I definitely would have read this. So I paid $8 for them to ship it to me, which took a week, and paid $8 more to send it back. I paid $16 for a dress I never even wore and never kept. This is a scam! On top of that I called to ask if the $8 to return was the same $8 used to ship and the representative told me yes. So I didn't realize I was going to pay an additional $8. NEVER EVER SHOP HERE... EVER!

Scam

All the items that are on sale are not available to add to the cart. Then you visit the website when the sale is over then all the items are miraculously available to add to the cart. This company is a scam and I will not be buying!

Spiraling Downhill

I ordered a pair of jeans a month ago for 49.99 when they came the lower legs were too tight ( I wear a size 22 w) so I sent them back and received a refund. Now they went sale For 19.99 so I reordered larger sizes 24w and 26 because I really wanted these jeans to fit and I luvvved the color (foxglove). Well neither pair fit because the lower legs of these jeans are so tight and uncomfortable to wear. I also couldnt get a refund because they are a clearance item. So now im stuck with a defective item. Over the years, Ashley Stewarts sizing has changed as well as their audience. Their clothing looks cheap and now is poorly made. The majority of the clothes are too busy for my taste and do not measure up to my standards. You have lost my business and my money Ashley!

Ashley Stewart closed my account for no use of the card in which the card was issued to me with NO expiration date and or chip in it which therefor the card couldn't be used online. I called several times in reference to this and I was told that a new card would be issued to me with this information on and and they apologized for the inconvenience and problems this may have caused. When I called a few weeks after not receiving the new card I was told that my account was closed because of inactivity? My bill was paid in full and was up to date so this was indeed a problem for me. I will no longer shop with this company.

Don't get credit card
November 23, 2019

Don't get the credit card you will end up with extra charges. I always shop here for several years and like the clothes and brought the clothes before getting the credit card. But will not anymore. The credit card is a racket and charge you $40 for 1 hour late and when I closed my account did not tell me they continue to charge you late fees and customer service actually told me they purposely don't tell you that. So Whoppie and any one else who promotes them should second guess a company who rips off hard working people. I actually work in customer service and my company would fire me on the spot if I told our clients what I was told. You are suppose to give your clients full disclosure and the best customer service to make them come back and recommend you to others.

Inaccurate, inconvenient

I ordered 2 items. I understood that shipping was running a little behind when I got the email stating such, BUT when I got it, it was only one piece. I ordered 2 of the EXACT items. When I called customer service, he said, "We will just refund your money for the one." Really? If I wanted 1, I would have ordered 1. He said that I would have to go back in and reorder instead of just sending me what was already, ordered and charged! Apologies do not meet deadlines. Do not run a sale if you cannot fulfill the orders. I asked for a survey but was told I couldn't be transferred to one. I was offered a supervisor but declined because the man I was dealing with had clearly stated how Ashley deals with short shipments.

I have been shopping on Ashley Stewart for many years. It started with the Butterfly Bra and then, I discovered their collection of dresses that never ceases to amaze! Their clothing is true to size and of very high quality. Their designers rock! They put out some of the most stylish plus size fashions. I am still enjoying pieces that I purchased nearly 10 years ago. I have a red dress that I purchased in 2010 and wore it quote often To worK... the red is still as bright as it was when I purchased it and the material is still like brand new. I shouldn't forget to mention that they are pretty reasonably priced compared to other plus size sites. I live in Nebraska and there are no retail locations here. All I ask is that they consider because their styles a4e the bomb.com!:-)

Poor Service!

I ordered a jacket and received a dress that was double my size! Tried to return the dress to the Hyattsville, MD strore only to be told that they don't take online Web special returns. Are they not the same company? I will not waste anymore money trying to ship this item back to the company with hopes of a refund for the item and shipping. Donating the item to charity & won't be purchasing anything else! Improve your service!

WHO IS WEARING THESE?

I was so excited to receive 3 bras from this company. I thought."wow they actually have the sizes for big girls". Well 3 bras and 2 weeks later. I have NEVER been more disappointed! You have to pull the entire bra down to your belly button in order for it to fit right. Then your boobs are hanging so low, you may as well not even wear a bra. I am 47 with huge boobs... I want SUPPORT and COVERAGE. Not 3rd and 4th boobs hanging out the top because the cups end under my arm pit. I can't swing my entire breast under my armpit. I honestly thought a reputable company like this would have decent products, but WOW This is terrible. There is NO SUPPORT WHATSOEVER. I would write more, but I have to grab my boob from my belly button and put it back under my arm

Love Ashley Stewart! Good quality clothing for women starting size 10 and up. Something for every occasion. Ms. Elain is always pleasant greeting you when you enter and ready to help us DIVAS. Today Ms. Candiss helped me she was awesome and ready to help to me about every 50 o spent today I would get $25 holiday cash works just like diva dollars. My husband is a disabled veteran and comes with me alot and he has a bad back that Ms. ELAIN will offer him a chair to sit while I shop. Thank you Ms. ELAINE!

I placed an order and I was able to apply for the AS credit card. I placed my first order with the card and I was told I would receive my credit card within 10 business days. I added a few extra days due to the holidays, it's still NOT here. My whole purpose of getting this credit card was so I could buy nice new clothes to start my new job. I now have fkd myself thinking I could rely on the words I read from the website as well as my emails. I have now run out of time to place an order to get it before I start my new job. I wasted my time with this company and now I need to find something else. I'm beyond disappointed. And when I made a call to customer service all they were worried about was how and when I would pay my bill. I have full intention to pay my bill in full but I had to close my account. If I'm having this many issues and I just barely tried to establish a working relationship with this company, I can only imagine what other problems I will run into. Thanks for nothing!

Zero stars! I purchased 2 pair of boy shorts online. Had never tried her clothes and decided to give it a try. I received an email stating my package was delivered. I never received the package. I ordered on March 19th. I received an email on March 26th saying my package had arrived. Again, NO it did not. I immediately called on March 26. I was told an investigation had to be done to call back. Called weekly since then. Each time there is no update only saying like they are reading a script you can not be offered a refund until April 9th. I am not even convinced I will even get my money back. These are hard times man and 30.00 is 30.00. I need that money and can't believe a national company such as this would lead customers in never land while someone "investigates" a missing package for 10 days without any communication with customer. When I call I get treated like I am some kind of rude disgruntled petty individual. So beware of this before buying ANYTHING!

So I was not home recently when I thought about I need to pay my Ashley Stewart bill. Didn't know exactly how much it was but I knew it was 13$ an some. So I paid $14 to be safe. So to find out it was 14.30. So I get my bill today and I get a late fee all because of 30cents lol. Could've just waved it.
