I feel like such a fool for trusting an American company. I'm an elderly lady in UK and thought we could trust Americans but I now realise they are the money grabbing, dishonest folk most of the world think they are. For America to allow one of their companies to rip off people around the globe they must have zero self respect. I'm glad I live in UK where we still have such a thing as integrity. Shame on you american eagle. That symbol of the eagle used to mean honour to your fore fathers. You bring shame to your country.
I have been shopping with American Eagle for awhile now, since 2011. The site and in store associates are very helpful. I also love that when they give out coupons it cab be applied to both American Eagle and Aerie. All their clothing's are true to size and quality are great as well!
Went to AE in Oxford Valley Mall w/ my husband to purchase him a new pair of jeans.
Came out of the store w/3 new pair of jeans bc of Amber 839.
Amber the sales associate there on Sunday Jan 9.2022 was a great help. She ran back and front w/different sizes colors and style jeans. Also, she made a few suggestions which were great and very helpful.
My husband is very happy and we ended up purchasing 3 new pair of men's jeans
Thank you Amber you were amazing
AE you have a great employee w/Amber.
Was trying to make a decent sized purchased but the website crashed on my iPhone and everything in my cart disappeared and I had 20+ items in there. American Eagle has lost my business because of it's $#*!ty website, incredibly frustrating experience. You would think they would invest more in there technology but I guess they don't care about their customers online experience.
The staff is extremely helpful and kind. They went above and beyond to help me find the right outfit for my date and even recommended I try the curvy jeans, which is life changing! Sometimes their size selection is low but it's because they sold out and if I wait a day or two they always have it back in stock. Love my American eagle clothes and the employees at my local store. They even ship for free to your house if they don't have your size!
I placed an order for 2 business day delivery. I checked the tracking number and there has been no movement for 4 days. I reached out to their Customer Service department and all they said was for me to wait 5 days and if I don't receive it to contact them again. Seriously? You can't even follow up with me? Or contact UPS? I leave on vacation! No merchandise, no follow up, no refund. Horrible service!
I only wear AE jeans. I ordered jeans that are a style I've never tried and they didn't fit as well as the Super Stretch so the jeans were returned. I used the AE return policy of paying $5.00 for SH and I took it to the post office they assigned. I followed directions exactly as told, however the post office employee said I owed additional $11.75. I told them AE charged me $5.00 for a pre-paid return label, however the USPS said I still owed $11.75 so I called AE. They were very kind, but only agreed to refund $7.00. It's something, but I still paid $9.75 for a $5.00 return. It's not a lot of money really, just why charge for a return label if it's not going to work? I'll just stick to returning their items at the Mall. Probably spend the same cost on fuel, but at least I can walk about the Mall and enjoy! Still love AE jeans!
I am a long time customer of AE. I had never had any problem with online ordering from them until last week. I placed two orders (about $175) and never received them. I found out that AE started using LASERSHIP for shipping. Lasership is infamy for stealing packages. I contacted lasership but of course, they were not willing to solve the problem. They had a picture of the packages that were dumped on a wet ground by the side of my mailbox in a dark rainy night. When I went to pick them up, there was nothing there. I imagine if you take a picture of delivered package and then steal it, it would be a perfect crime. Besides, what surprised me was response from AE. The customer service said " We will give you refund just this time. We will not refund for lost packages from next time". Don't shop from AE. They will make you pay for the items you never received. I am done. I will never buy from AE again.
I have worn AE jeans, and I turned my husband on the them. We have worn them for years and they last for years. A few years ago they stopped carrying a 16+ in store in jeans. This means we no longer get to use our military discount. So I finally broke down to order online- they canceled my order after 3 weeks passed because my jeans are no longer in stock. They're taking up to 10 business days to refund the almost $200 we spent, and I'm angry. I've been buying the jeans from Target now. They're cheaper and pretty similar.
After spending a lot of time picking the items from their website they send an email that 3 out of the 4 items I have purchased (after sending me a confirmation email) are out of stock!
Really disappointed and frustrated regarding the time I spent on your website
I did an online chat with representative and she was very helpful but the code she gave me wouldn't work so she told me to call in, I did and the representative on the line was very rude and told me she shouldn't have given me a code for the item I was wanting and they don't do that! I shop a lot with AE but now not anymore! Do better AE!
I love AE clothing. I am saddened to see that they have not taken any steps forward in 1. Reducing pollution and 2. Making sure clothing comes from workers who are paid fair wages/safe conditions. My most recent purchase was underwear and they were from 3 different locations in the world. India, China and Vietnam. Possibly Mexico too. The sewing sadly looked "off" and really made me think about who was making these clothes and how they were being treated. I will no longer buy from here. We all need to do better.
I consistently buy AE jeans because they fit better than any other brand, and the material feels good. I'm 6'1" 185 lbs, wear the Skinnies. I'm not okay with holes in them, and most of them have holes. That's a problem, I don't buy air, but that's what they sell. Sometimes hole-less can be found. The denim of one of my six pair came undone within the fabric so there are now many furrowed ridges on the thighs, see photo; that happened over a period of a few months so they were not returnable. Another problem is consistency. The skinnies now have much tighter calves than before. It's all a bit frustrating but they have the best fit.
Aerie currently has a buy 1 get 1 free deal on bras. Both of the ones that I ordered arrived with major creasing on the inside of the cups. They do not look new. I talked to CS using the live chat option and was told I can do a return or exchange via mail. However, I declined since I am sure that the exchanged ones will be damaged as well. That is probably why they are on sale. She did not offer a partial refund or anything for me.
After contacting AE via their live chat feature, Paula, a customer service rep, proceeded to abruptly end our chat. Long story short, I asked why i had to pay to return the jeans I purchased when their website clearly states it's FREE. Her response verbatim "you can return them to a store" followed by some fluff about why it's not free, even though it says it is! Please see my attachment as I took a screen shot of our chat. I can honestly say, I've never been so upset over something so simple that turned into a horriblecustomer service problem. Oh boy American Eagle, you just lost a long time customer who's closet is half full of your product
Ordered a few times, excellent quality jeans and they should be per $60 a pair. Tops are men quality, rayon is NOT your friend cheap fabric these companies use and gouge you for top $$$$.
But shipping was fast and free and over all was happy with the jeans.
Whether I buy clothes for my skinny daughter or for myself (I wear size 18, sometimes 16) I always manage to find beautiful outfits that fit just right!
Thanks for great selection of styles and sizes!
They use nice stretchy materials and the jeans mostly come with an option for long and extra long which is great for anyone who is 5'10'' and up. Jeans last a good while too as most brands tend to get a hole in the knee rather quickly. As for their other apparel I've yet to have a negative experience.
I ordered new jeans from AE. I received USED jeans with friction wear in crotch. Smelled of perfume. Customer service was NO help after talking to two supervisors. They didn't care and offered me a 25% off coupon. I am so extremely disappointed! They wouldn't even exchange them. I have to send them back without tags and start over ordering. I have wasted soooo much time! I'm furious.
Love their clothes, specially the aerie section. The shipping is incredibly fast, I live very far away and in 4 days the order was in my doorstep. Just one thing I have to say if you are thinking to buy from them, never pay full price, if you search online you'll find lots of coupons.
Answer: I've always been able to reach them when I callit's never been a problem.
Answer: ALL OF THEM! Not ONE treats their customers this poor, not ONE ever refused a full refund!
