Waited 3 hours for a tow, and no one showed up. Spent 3 hours on the phone. After that, trying to get to triple-a to come and tell my car.
Reading their website it says you get 4-5 tows on their best package. Absolutely not true. Shame on them.
I waited 6 hours for help I have been a member for more than thirty years they have gone down tremendously

I am not a member to AAA but do appreciate the "plan your trip" section of thier site. I recently used it to plan a road trip from Denver, CO to Virginia. Good times! The site provided great suggestions of places of interest, which I added many of them to my trip, and gave me ideas of other things to reserch and add.
Definetly a good tool to add to the tool belt of road trip planning.
I experience in detail:
When I started reaserching "things to do," it was a short list because I am not firmiliar with the Mid-West to the East Coast. Being a Vegas/Hawaii born and raised doesnt allow room for that area of the contenient. SO, I put in my starting location and ending location hoping for some assistance. And BOOM! Things I have always wanted to see and do came up, along with things I never thought of doing but was interested.
Ended up going to St. Louis and riding the rollar coaster elevators to the top of the Arch. A stop to tour Graceland had to be deleted due to extra time being spent in St. Louis -good times. Then onto Nashville where live blues was seeping through the brick buildings and roads. Then onto the Great Smoky Mountains! Beautiful!
That was the end of the "site seeing" part of the road trip and it was onto the destination at hand, Virginia. My new home.
They keep saying the guy will come in 30 mins, starting from 4 hours ago. AAA service not trustworthy anymore
Lowlife company that is all u need to know sat on the highway for 4 hours what a joke criminals really
Waited for 5 hours for a tow truck. After 1 or 2 updates, no one responded. Tow truck never came. After many years, we will be canceling our account.
I was locked out of my car, but after just a half hour AAA got me back into the drivers seat and off I went!
I've been with AAA for nearly two decades. I rarely have to use it, but it's my "peace of mind", and until today it's been worth the cost for that peace of mind. Two days ago, I made an appointment to have my car (dead battery and broken hood latch) picked up and taken 15 miles to my preferred mechanic for repair. I set my appointment for pickup between 6 and 8AM. No show by 8:10, so I tried to reach AAA for an update...and to be sure that my request was actually going to be acted on. There is NO WAY to speak to a human except during office business hours. Not on-line, not on my cell. I know my request was processed because they send you a useless link to confirm to, but it doesn't actually show who is responding or when...or if they actually plan to show up. It took 2 weeks to get an appointment with my mechanic, now AAA is a no show to get my car there, and no way to figure out what's going on because there is no way to speak to a human in the time frame that my pickup was supposed to happen. Thank GOD I'm not stuck on a highway somewhere hoping they show up. My 67 yr old sister and her two dogs were stuck last august in 100 degree temps on I95, and AAA failed to show up at all...she waited FOUR HOURS, and nothing. No text, no response by anyone at AAA, and she finally had to get assistance from a police officer who was worried about her and the dogs and took time out of his day to drive to an area, non-AAA towing service and get a truck out.( they were there within 15 minutes...) She could easily have had fatal consequences from AAAs lack of respose, and they never even explained what happened. I had intended to not renew, but I've been on auto renewal for a long time and forgot. I will be changing that today. There are other emergency service providers, and I will be joining one of them. Don't waste your money on AAA, because they do not provide the services they promise. And they don't care if you live or die while waiting for them to not show up.
I called AAA tow service after getting stuck in mud on on-ramp of I-10 fwy during rain storm in New Orleans, LA. I called apx 2:01pm and was hung up on. Reconnected apx 2:10pm and was told by 3:40pm look for truck. Ok, it's raining and they are probably very busy. 2:20pm Mary called from tow company to verify my location and gave same time of a 3:40pm arrival. 3:15pm DOT towed me off the ramp and I cancelled the AAA tow. 5:49pm I received a call from the AAA driver that he was on his way. SMH. They even sent me an email with the caption: Request Roadside Assistance in Under 5 minutes, [REQUEST not RECEIVE]. I've received many years of SEPERB service nation wide until this occurence in NOLA.
Ram's roadside club services llc are thieves - incredible that AAA leaves members in the hands of these thieves - first of all, even number given by AAA for Ram's services is not a working number! - on reaching back to AAA customer service to report missing wheel lock key after flat tire service call by William Sanchez from Ram Roadside club service on behalf of AAA, AAA agent 'Joseline' says - we will respond in 7-10 days - basically roadside assistance we charge you for means we will serve you in the hour of need in 7-10 days! I explained to her that contact number AAA gave me for RAM roadside Club service, *******752 is not a valid telephone number, she simply says that's the number AAA has on file and she cannot do anything if this number is not a valid number! I was shocked by her response, Here I am relying on AAA roadside help (10 years member) - & I don't have a way to put back my tire on Suv as wheel key with which Ram club opened flat tire to replace with spare tire is missing, also I have no way to reach back to Ram club service, and AAA is saying, we will get back to you in 7-10 days! It is the worst experience I ever faced in any customer service. Josephine from AAA was first not even interested to pass me to supervisor, atleast, now I have reached to Kimberly, a supervisor, who is handling the matter, still not sure what the outcome will be. I certainly will want to alert everyone around for Raam roadside club service mess and AAA experience.
DO NOT continue to use AAA for roadside assistance. I have been a faithful AAA premiere member for 25 years and i always felt comfort knowing i had a valuable company and service in my back pocket when i was in need. That changed very quickly. I was traveling home down 75 south by Adairsville, Georgia and my car broke down. I was stuck on the side of the highway with family and a dog. With confidence i called AAA and put in a service request. I did NOT hear back from help. I called again an hour and a half later and they said they were trying to find someone to help with road side assistance. I then waited another hour and called them again. No luck. The representative suggested i try to find someone on my own to come help me. WTH? That's your best service plan AAA? The one service that i need you to do for me and that i have paid for you to do for me? Unbelievable. So i had to find someone to come help me on my own which thankfully i was able to. AAA did NOT help me at all. After sitting on the side of the highway for 5 hours and having a mobile mechanic help me, that i had to find on my own, i was thankfully on my way. Thank you to Brumleys Mobile Mechanic service out of Adiarsville for helping me when a company like AAA, who i have trusted for 25 years, FAILED me. I called the next day to speak with management at AAA and they didn't really seem to have much empathy or didn't seem to really care that i was cancelling with them immediately. So... take this how you want. I just wanted to share that i am no longer a AAA member and i do NOT recommend anyone else using them. I strongly suggest that if you are a AAA member that you do not renew your membership for next year.
Worst service ever, totally bad business decisions!@!
Answer: No. Our experience with AAA has been a total fail on their part.
Answer: I should have been more specific. I am trying to get the the AAA club membership for chicago. That site is for California. And it is secure. As is one i checked for Texas. Chicago?... not so much.
